✅ Trip Verified | Veracruz to Houston. Rude, as always. Told the stewardess that the non-english speaker next to me needed a seat belt extension and I was told not to do her job. Was told to stop using my phone while the plane was still parked and the lady just kept standing looking at me until i turned it off. I am aware I have to turn it off and will of course do so but it was not said very nicely. It is always the same but for some reason they keep having the only international route out of veracruz.

✅ Trip Verified | Newark to West Palm Beach. Flight was almost empty with about 40 passengers. My son is 6’4 tall and we had paid already extra $17 for just reserving the seats together. Crew insisted we can’t change seats even though 70 percent of aircraft was empty. So most of passengers were squeezed in 3 rows. Last time flying with United. This is free, just being kind to your customers.

✅ Trip Verified | Just when you think United can’t possibly get any worse, they prove you wrong. The staff on the flight from Houston to Frankfurt were surly, unhelpful and generally more concerned with chatting in the galley than taking care of customers in Business Class. Food quality has been in steady decline for years as has the wine choices. No drinks offered before departure even when specifically asked for. compared to the other airlines, United has become a budget airline but with premium prices. Management please take note! Now let’s get to the cabin itself. Foot rest was broken, literally in half. Seat sound system did not function. Time to change my allegiance.

✅ Trip Verified | Los Angeles to Honolulu. I had the most stressful time trying to rebook a flight I wasn’t going to make. I talked to three agents and my phone dropped the call twice. Finally I was given a phone number to call and the person that answered was amazing, he helped me out in finding a new flight for the best price, even though it wasn’t with United, and refunding me for the flight I had missed. After a stressful morning it was so nice having his help and it makes me want to fly with United more!

✅ Trip Verified | San Francisco to Washington Dulles. They made us go to baggage claim for your carry-on. This is nonsense. We wanted to avoid baggage claim so we did carry-on but they made us to do baggagw claim anyway because the cabin is full. This is a bad design and bad customer service. They didn't even bring the bags to us which they took from us involuntarily. Very narrow seats and uncomfortable.

✅ Trip Verified | San Jose to Chicago. No food provided on the 4 hour flight. I was in row 35, and they ran out of food by row 30! It was an early flight, so no chance for breakfast, then I connected to another United flight will no time for food between. So, very poor performance. No apology from the staff - not their fault, though. Also a crummy little plane with no room, considering the length of the flight. No screens for movies, and no is to charge my phone. It was on time, so that's the main thing.

"I dislike United attitude

✅ Trip Verified | Norfolk to Los Angeles via Washington. Going into Norfolk was ok. But coming back was the worst experience ever. No room for my small carryall on the flightfrom Norfolk to DC do it was sent cargo all the way to LAX. I asked for a fragile tag and was told they would put that tag in my expensive carryall. That was not done. My carryall was scratched. My seat on the flight to LAX was truly a nightmare of discomfort. The phone charger under the seat. And you had no mobility. No food — just pretzels. You need to pay me for replacing my carryall and the broken things. Very irresponsible. I dislike United attitude.

✅ Trip Verified | Chicago to Tucson. Nice people, clean planes. Entertainment is lousy. On American Airlines I can download the app in flight. On United you have to download the app before the flight, no one tell you this until you get to see it at 10,000 feet. I purchased the inflight internet. It is so bad, I still can’t download the app. Thanks for wasting my time. I’m not approving any more United Flights.

✅ Trip Verified | Newark to West Palm Beach . They make you check your carry on, saying bins are full. You get in plane and lots of bin space to put carry on. No one using common sense - bad customer service, flight attendant agreed with me and apologized. Had to wait at luggage claim for carry on.

✅ Trip Verified | Washington to Nashville . Today, I remember why I avoid United Airlines at all costs. Not that I hadn't forgotten their unfriendly behavior in the past before, but you would think that after so much bad press and negative publicity, they would care to be more courteous to their customers and try to accommodate them more (at least more than competing airlines). You would think, but you would be wrong. United acts as if they are a "preferred" airline when really, I cringe at the thought of ever having to fly them. The only reason to consider them is cost, but you are giving up severe customer service while on board, while on the phone, or while trying to accommodate any emergencies that may come up. Their cancellation policy is bizarre and it isn't even clear on how you can cancel a flight on their website (it's not under their refunds/cancellations tab).
