"delayed 3.5 hrs"

On the 4 flights within a week - 1st flight was delayed 2 hrs, missing the connecting flight (technical issue, we were not on board) - 2nd flight went ok - 3rd flight was delayed 3.5 hrs, missing the connecting flight (infotainment system down, we were on board and the 34 deg C heat was too much for A/C). They sent us to a luxury hotel. 4th flight was delayed 1.5 hr (they just realized that the captain had too many hours). What kind of company is this? Will not fly again with them, given a choice.

"FAs competent and courteous"

My spouse booked this flight six weeks prior to departure. She has platinum status on Delta, but was unable to obtain an economy comfort upgrade. She was also unable to purchase economy comfort seats (none available), so we ended up in economy. As with the flight from SLC to CDG, the seats in the return CDG to SEA flight were the worst I've experienced - cramped, inadequate padding, solid armrests, and hardly any recline. This was a day flight - I didn’t sleep well the night before, and was unable to take a nap. Seat discomfort made my flight experience miserable. My spouse and I forgot to bring our seat backs to the upright position before landing at SEA, and the FAs didn’t notice. That’s how minimal the recline is. Once again, food quality had deteriorated from my last transatlantic Delta flight in January 2014. I forgot to buy take on food at CDG. Delta offered a wide selection of movies, but the free headset's poor sound quality made it impossible to enjoy them. My 1-star rating for entertainment is based on the headset’s poor sound quality. The FAs were competent and courteous, my only positive comment for this flight.

"disappointed by service"

Delta Air Lines from Boston to Indianapolis, and it was just an utter mess. There was no direction given and no updates given. I have been staring at a previous flight still on-boarding, meanwhile their flight already took off. I'm highly disappointed by the quality of service. Oh and our gate just changed - for the third time.

"not allowing flight to land at LGA "

Trying to fly home to see my family. After delaying constantly for 4 hours and refusing to let us get off the plane while they wait for us to be able to take off. The pilot proceeds to promise we will take off (I don't blame the pilot). The airline said that they would not be allowing my flight to land at LGA due to a lack of space at the airport. The pilot proceeded to ask if we could land in a different airport so that our whole weekends weren't ruined. The airline basically refused to do anything to help myself and several others in the same position. To say the least I am fuming, in tears, and very frustrated with Delta Airlines. Especially since when we were leaving the airplane they were required to play the audio tape "Thanking for choosing Delta".

"will not fly Delta again"

Richmond to Atlanta. Beware that Delta Air Lines cheaper tickets do not allow you to sit with your flying partner. You have to pay more just to fly seated together. Rip off! I will not fly Delta again.

"flight delayed because captain was missing"

First my Delta Air Lines flight got delayed but I was able to re-book it the night before. The guy who answered my call was not very understanding and frustrated me even more. Then the morning of my flight I got there 3 hours early (3:00 am) only to be told that the flight was delayed because the captain was missing. I missed my connecting flight which meant I had to be re routed and had to wait six hours in New York. I was supposed to get to DC at 10 AM and got there at 4:30 pm. Wasted my day at the airport. Coming back, my flight was again delayed and I once again missed my connecting flight. I had to book to another flight. It was a direct flight but basically had to wait 6.5 hours at the airport for it to take off. Then my gate for the new flight got changed twice. Then my 12:22 flight got delayed again to 2:00pm or so. I was supposed to be in Montreal at noon and instead arrived at around 3:10 or so. The one positive was that the direct flight was extremely fast and made it to Montréal in an hour and 10 minutes. My carry on met the specifications but I was told to leave it on the side of the entrance of the plane because it did not fit in the overhead cabinet? So why do you give specs that do not work? That would be ok except that one of the zippers in my luggage got ripped off and there was a tear on the side of the luggage. Way to take care of my stuff guys. I admit that the staff were very nice and they tried to be understanding. I received a 50$ voucher to use at a later date but will I really use this airline again? Do I want to take a chance? How many delays can a human being take in one trip? They also gave me a 15$ voucher to eat at the airport because I had to wait so long. I understand stuff happens. I understand that sometimes things are out of people's controls. But my experience at Delta was a complete waste of time and either they are extremely incompetent or I am extremely unlucky as a traveller.

"staff very friendly and helpful"

Delta Air Lines from London Heathrow to New York JFK. The seats in economy are a little cramped. My friend and I are 5ft 10 and 6f t3 and we felt squashed especially when the person in front reclined their chair. However, that was the only negative. The IFE had a good range of movies, and the food was satisfactory. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a good experience. Although, I will book exit row seats the next time. As long as you get to your destination safely, consider it a good flight.

"continue to fly with them"

London Heathrow to Tampa via Atlanta return with Delta Air Lines. Only the return flight was delayed 45 minutes but captain passed through the cabin to apologise about the delay. Food was ok usual standard airline fare but choices available, beer and wine was free on the international flights. AVOD on transatlantic flights with a good choice of movies and tv shows, bit disappointed in the audio selection though and this could be improved. Flight attendants passed through the cabin regularly on drink runs offering water or orange juice. This is my fourth time flying Delta Air Lines and will continue to fly with them if their prices remain competitive,

"much improved experience"

Flew by Delta after a really long time. The aircraft used between SEA and Atlanta looked very new with video monitors for every seat and the mood lighting was very refreshing. The crew also greeted everyone pleasantly with a smile. All in all a much improved experience.

"attendants very courteous "

Flights on time, attendants very courteous and helpful. In Columbus I explained to the Delta clerk that I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery and could I get a wheelchair in Atlanta to make my connecting flight. When I arrived I was met by a very friendly lady who zipped me thru the airport to my connecting flight. I would not have made it without her. I received the same service on the way back home. All luggage on time as well.
