✅ Trip Verified | Lima to Salt Lake City via Dallas. Leaving Lima the plane was late 1.5 hrs. We all get that happens. But the airline made no attempt to make up time in the air over this 8 hour flight. The flight attendant lied about letting us deboard first so we could make our next flights. Every single employee along this journey was not only not helpful they were rude and seemed annoyed with us attempting to make connecting flights. They didnt care in the least. Never ever American again.

✅ Trip Verified | Miami to Cancun. The Captain came out into the cabin to thank us for flying American Airlines. I have not flown American in over a year because I was very disappointed at previous experiences however I have to say that this flight was very pleasant, the ground and in-flight crew were very nice, polite, and friendly. The aircraft looked and felt new, the business class seat was very comfortable and the amenities were good for a 1 hour 40 minute flight. I will fly them again.

✅ Trip Verified | St Louis to London Heathrow via Dallas Fort-Worth with American Airlines. The first flight was almost 2 hours late but I had plenty of time for the connection. The Flagship Lounge at DFW was wonderful with extremely helpful personnel, great food. The flight from DFW to LHR was on-time, the seat was extremely comfortable, the food awful: terrible presentation, overcooked, and tasteless. IFE was great but the remote did not work properly. Wifi was impossible to use.

✅ Trip Verified | Milan to New York. Hands down worst business class experience I have ever had. Long wait at priority check in for both legs of the flight, poor onboard service, cranky stewardesses. In business class had to pay extra $20 for WiFi! Last but not least, headphones were collected 1 hour prior to landing!

✅ Trip Verified | Charlotte to Albany. Why does an American Airlines separate people when one purchases tickets for two people at the same time? Doesn't make sense to me - especially when you're not allowed to pick your own seating and they have some excuse as to why they have to pick your seat. Very very disappointing and planes late with no giving reason, just gets later and later. I'll never fly this airline again.

Not Verified | Dallas Fort Worth to Seattle. This airline is Not worth your business. You spend more money with accommodations and car rentals. Better spend your money on a ticket that will get you to your destination without the hassle and rudeness. Customer service agents are rude and look at you like you’re begging them. In less than three months that I’ve travelled with my new job, I’ve been stuck in Seattle because their flights are delayed, leaving me stranded at the airport or having to rent a car to get home. No reimbursement for these additional expenses. So you pay for a round trip flight and you still end up spending more because of their delays. Go spend your money on another airline. American should just give up instead of offering flights that are always running 3-4 hours behind. And, when you show up to the counter, it’s mid night, no one is available to speak with. When my wife traveled with them in July, same thing happened only worse because she had to wait two days before she could get home. Long story short, she ended up paying for her meals, her hotel, used more time off from work, and leaving our pets boarding for more time than originally planned. Horrible, horrible service. Worst airline ever.

✅ Trip Verified | Dallas to Honolulu. First and last time I will fly with American! Not only did my plane get delayed over an hour but when we finally did get to fly out we got about 2 hours away and then had to turn around and go all the way back to Dallas. From there our plane got delayed another 2-3 times. Was suppose to land in HI at 12:36P did not land until 9:36!

Not Verified | Worst experience ever with an airline. Flight was delayed 8 hours. 8! We paid to go hang out at their lounge only to find out the flight was cancelled overall. We were trying to fly from Los Angeles to Tokyo for our honeymoon. Our paid time off days were on the line here. Did they try to make us feel less panicked? Nope! Talked to one of the reps (who turned her ID around so we wouldn’t know her name!) who argued with my husband and I about how she was not at fault. We understand that personally, it was not on her but as other airlines do- probably find us an alternate way to get there? She was grabbing the ticket from my husband and pointing out the obvious about how the flight was cancelled. Ok captain obvious we get it. But what can you do to help us? Maybe work with another airline? Find us other seats? Something? We have been in the terminal since 6am and it is not 3pm and we just found out your plane was cancelled. We are not oblivious to the fact that others are also facing these circumstances but the least we expect is some empathy and reassurance. The lounge member was super rude, condescending, yelling at us and was straight mean. She tried to shoo us away to another airline eventually, but with no reassurance. Take note, this was with an airline 2 terminals away at LAX. Would you feel ok walking all that way if you weren’t 100% sure? She would not tell us if we could board or not and we tried to ask if they would guarantee taking care of us if we did not make the cut and she would not answer. It took another co-worker of hers to butt in and tell us they would. Super unprofessional, does not care for their customers, rude and not sympathetic whatsoever. I don’t care if I’m saving 1,000 bucks.. I will never fly American again! They ruined my honeymoon.

✅ Trip Verified | Minneapolis to Erie via Chicago. Well I didn’t even get on the flight because it was delayed 4+ hours and I wouldn’t be able to make my connecting flight. The trip wasn’t worth it at that point since it was a weekend trip and there weren’t any other options that made sense. I stood in line for about 30 minutes and was able to figure out what I needed to know by the time I got up there and the assistant didn’t know that much anyways. Very disappointed. Luckily got refunded but I’m never booking with American Airlines again.

✅ Trip Verified | Dallas Ft Worth to Fayetteville. I never had such a worst experience in my life. To start, when i departed from Fayetteville to Vancouver ; my flight from Fayetteville got delayed by 4-5 hours i had to spent half day sitting at airport and missed to catch up with my friend. From Vancouver to Dallas flight no. 392 was so much congested there was almost no leg space. And the passenger at the front seat was extending their seat to back making it more less spacious. I literally had sore feet because of that and Then to my worst experience when flight from dallas airport got cancelled to Fayetteville. They didnt even provide us any accommodation i hadnt slept for more than 24 hours. They should have at least provide us some place to stay even though it was weather still we paid you and please value our time. I missed one exam already and now have two next day.
