"this lounge is great"
2 reviews Djordje Susic (Serbia)
✅ Trip Verified | The lounge that I went to on my recent flight with Air Serbia was very good. There were 2 lounges available for Air Serbia flights: the Turkish Airlines lounge and the ProPass lounge. The views and the drink options were both magnificent, but the food, well not so much. There weren’t many choices and the choices provided didn’t look fresh. The staff were nice, but the lounge was a bit noisy. The mini chocolate muffins were amazing, a must try! The toilets were very clean and had a pleasant odour. It also was a bit crowded and there was limited seating, but the seats were amazingly comfortable! The WiFi was great too! (Also I don’t know if there were showers!) In conclusion, this lounge is great and I would recommend it!

"experience is anything but premium"
N Pirhala (Malaysia)
✅ Trip Verified | While the Turkish Airlines business class lounge highlights private rooms as a premium feature, the actual experience is anything but premium. The showers follow a reasonable queue system, but the private rooms are an elusive and undignified ordeal. Despite being advertised as part of the business class offering, they seem more like a marketing ploy. There’s no queue system in place for these rooms. Instead, passengers are expected to pop in and out, begging for availability. The staff, with stiff body language, offer vague and inconsistent time estimates—anywhere from 25 minutes to over an hour. To make matters worse, there’s no time limit for how long guests can occupy the rooms, leaving others in a constant state of uncertainty and frustration. This process leaves passengers feeling more like beggars than valued patrons. Turkish Airlines should either implement a proper queue system or charge a fee to ensure a fair and transparent process. The current setup is nothing short of undignified and far from the business class experience one would expect. I finally got my room after 3 hours of waiting in uncertainty, and it should not be like this.

"Seating was scarce"
20 reviews Mahmud Noormohamed (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | This is a very busy lounge with Priority Pass members being put on a waiting list for approximately 45 minutes. Seating was scarce on the first floor. The food quality is excellent. The lounge had a nice selection of Mediterranean cuisine e.g. kefta kabob with tomatoes and aubergine, grilled creamy chicken, assortment of cheese and crackers, hummus and Turkish Tea. WiFi worked flawlessly. There were lines for the bathroom given the number of passengers in the lounge. Nonetheless, the bathrooms were clean.

"we were unable to rest"
H Bayjab (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | I travel business class internationally due to poor health conditions and advanced age. I have heart disease and cannot walk very far, and my wife has nerve damage and also cannot walk long distances. We both require wheelchairs. We arrived to IST on February 7th, at 2:43 pm, from Toronto. We had a 7-hour long layover in Istanbul, before our flight TK708 departed for Karachi, Pakistan, at 9:55 pm. Because of the long connection, we tried to reserve a nap room and specifically chose IST for this purpose. My wife was unable to sleep on the 9 hour flight from Canada and was exhausted. A young lady at the concierge desk provided unprofessional and rude responses to us when we asked her for a nap room. She first said there were none and to come back every 30 minutes to check. My wife walked back and forth (with great difficulty) from distant seating areas over the course of 2 hours, every 30 minutes, because I cannot walk very far. The young lady at the concierge desk did not have the courtesy to take our phone number or to put our names as next in line. After 2 hours, we tried again (the 4th time), and a younger man quickly walked ahead of us to the desk. The concierge desk then gave the next available nap room to this young man, who only showed up the first time to the desk, instead of my wife and I, after we were waiting for 2 hours and had been to the desk 4 times. We pleaded with the young lady at the concierge desk, asking why she gave the room to the other man. The concierge simply said "he came to the desk faster than you". For 7 hours we were unable to rest and sat in regular seats in the lounge, waiting for our connecting flight. This has been the worst business class experience I have ever faced in my life.

"really dropped its game in their lounges"
D Graubard (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | I miss the old TK lounge at Ataturk airport. This lounge is always packed. And the food variety and quality goes downhill every time I’m here. And now, with Turkish (or Turkiye) boycotting US products, there are not only no Coke products, but no soda of any kind. Sorry. I’m headed into the terminal. Worthless to sit in the crowded lounge and you can’t even get a Coke. Turkish has really dropped its game in their lounges.

"received very good service"
M Knight (United Kingdom)
Not Verified | We definitely received very good service. They provided every service in the best possible way. The food is very delicious, the seating areas are comfortable and wide, and there are many activation systems to pass the time. So you will lose track of time while waiting for the transfer.

"excellent food and drink"
22 reviews N Bardel (Germany)
✅ Trip Verified | I had on other trips been in their excellent business class lounge and flying this time in economy but being in possession of a Star Alliance Gold Status I had been granted entrance in this CIP Lounge. I read it is inferior to the Business Lounge but besides just a couple of food stations less, I must see I truly am impressed: excellent food and drink selection, lovely atmosphere, simply a great place to be and spend some time.

"feels more like a free fast food restaurant"
10 reviews Joern Andre Horaczek (Germany)
✅ Trip Verified | I heard that this lounge was opened to give passengers who paid for a business class ticket a slightly more exclusive experience by leaving out status customers and thus making the lounge less crowded. This has not worked. The TK lounge at Ataturk airport used to be really fantastic and special and it was one of the reasons I booked with TK all the time. This time seems to have passed. I am just sitting in the TK Business lounge at Istanbul new airport, feeling like waiting in an overcrowded train station. This feels more like a free fast food restaurant or an all-you-can-eat holiday venue, than an exclusive space to relax and wait for the next flight. Virtually all seats are occupied, mainly by bags and coats to reserve a seat for people who seem to be wandering around. People are shoveling piles of food onto their plates and leave the tables completely covered with leftovers and rubbish. Even the supposedly quiet areas are overcrowded. Having been in the fantastic Qatar Airways Business lounge at Doha airport, this is the complete opposite… crammed, crowded and ordinary.

"the food is terrible"
20 reviews marc vermeire (Belgium)
✅ Trip Verified | Using this lounge on a SWISS flight. The place is simply horrible. There are plenty of alcoholic drinks especially whisky, served by a bartender - the food is terrible and extremely poor. There was a very salty soup, a lot of vegetables and bread with tuna salad. Some small kind of a saucer with limited food like pieces of cheese with one grape, pineapple, melon and berry. Another 3 cubes of chocolate cake. The soft drinks in the fridge were lukewarm, in a basket some melting ice. I left the lounge and went to an eatery to have a decent sandwich. Maybe this lounge is Ok if you want to drink alcohol but not for a decent snack at all. The restrooms were not very clean.
