KLIA Kuala Lumpur Airport

✅ Trip Verified | This filthy and gross excuse for a terminal has few seats or amenities. There is no airside transfer from T1 thus requiring you to clear immigration and security twice. I will never ever plan a connection thru KUL T2 again. Dirty, horrible, gross.

Not Verified | Slow immigration check, Train from terminal to main building is broken down, No have supported plan for immigration speed. Poor airport, poor Service

Not Verified | This airport is one of the worst I’ve been to. Arrived to terminal 2 with 2 hours delay, still having 3+ hours to the departure from terminal 1 and this was last minute transfer! at terminal 2 info about the shuttle service are very bad, outside no proper sign for shuttle. the journey takes 30 minutes and stopes at long term parking first. at terminal 1 there is another train shuttle from main terminal to gates C which is not working so it is replaced with another bus. Again more time to add on. The worst things which was mentioned is that the security check is done at the gate 1 hour before departure. You have to empty your water bottle and you are left for 1 hour closed with no toilet and no drinks. It is something crazy! I felt so nervous about all this situation that I had to take several calming pills. Avoid it if you can or if you can’t be prepared for long transits, lots of walking ( terminals are huge and you make km’s on foot), closed shops after 11 pl, no toilets at the gates, no potable water.

✅ Trip Verified | This is definitely one of the worst airport. Arrived and disembarked at 2am there were staffs around but no one informed the passengers that they have to take a bus to the arrival counters. All the passengers were left stranded and wandering around. No signages as well. The gate to the bus was one long way from disembarkation point. Immigration counter officers were shouting at visitor who could not understand English when there was no staffs to guide and help. Bus Transfer between KLIA and KLIA2 took 45 minutes due to irregular waiting time and long route.

Not Verified | This airport will put me off any more visits to KL. We have queued for more than an hour for passport control at both arrivals and departures. I found this very difficult and painful since I have impaired mobility yet the people on 'queue control' appeared to be more interested in their phones than in helping me. Airside facilities for getting a drink or meal were pitiful. Surely it is simply a matter of organisation. The airport knows when flights are arriving and departing and simply have to ensure they have adequate staff at those times. It is my 5th trip to KL and I am sorry that this will be my last.

Not Verified | The airport is really warm. Aside for a split second of cool air upon entering the airport from outside, the entire airport is warm. I am even perspiring. I understand Malaysia is warm but an airport should not be, especially when it is not shabby.

✅ Trip Verified | Train apparently under maintenance for 4 month, so have to go with the buses! Over in C gates now also no lounge, have to use lounge in main terminal, and then hurry over for departure! Don’t think Malaysia can get any worse!

✅ Trip Verified | Going and coming back via KLIA was stressful because the place is too big, when you need to go from one terminal to another, and there is no sign to tell you that you need to go to the transfer desk, plus signs were few and hidden. I was almost cursing running from one terminal to another, taking bus and bus and not knowing the way. Can't there be info desks or interactive stands for people to check their whereabouts and ask relevant info?

✅ Trip Verified | This is a review of KLIA2. This airport is a joke. We can’t take any water or drinks through security. When we get through, the only shop that sells bottled drinks is closed.

✅ Trip Verified | I was transiting through this airport from Bali to India and the security is first asking you to buy the water as there are no water filling stations which is in like 2k-5k and then asking you to empty it in security. This is absolutely bizarre and not seen anywhere. This is the worst airport I have encountered so far. This airport needs to change its rules.
