✅ Trip Verified | Newark to Montego Bay. They left me and my family stranded in a foreign country at 3:30am after experiencing a 24 hour flight delay. Upon arrival, no hotel, no car - after promising to book us a room since they knew we had no means to drive 2 hrs at 3:30 am to our booked hotel. Vacation day 1 ruin; arrived a day late and no where to go - United will not accept any accountability - no reimbursement for extra expense - no partial refund - nothing!

"This Airline is horrible"

✅ Trip Verified | Do not use United Airlines. I had a 6am flight from New York to Hawaii with a connecting flight from Denver. Upon arrival around 8.10am my family and I proceeded to the gate where we advised that our connecting fight which should have been leaving from Denver at 9.40 am, was delayed until 1.00pm. In addition, we were assigned another gate and had to walk all the way to that location with all of our belongings. Then at 10.13 am we were advised that our flight delay had been extended to 5.00pm. I received this text message: “Your flight is delayed because of a crew scheduling disruption this morning. We know this wasn't part of your plans for today (it wasn't part of ours either), so we appreciate you hanging in there! We're doing our best to get you on your way as soon as possible”. Departure: Delayed (7 hrs 20 mins) plane-icon UA 328 Estimated: 5.00 pm Scheduled: 9.40 am. Once again, our gate has been changed and we have to lug all of our belongings to the new gate. I am beyond annoyed. This Airline is horrible. I’m traveling with my children and we have to spend the entire day in the airport. We now have to spend extra money on food for lunch which would have been included in our resort. The customer service is beyond long with people complaining of flight delays. If you want to get to your destination without delays because of "crew scheduling disruption" or any other issues choose another airline.

✅ Trip Verified | Reno to Chicago. I was leaving on July 3rd from Reno Tahoe International Airport, the staff was very rude and not friendly, after she checked my luggage, she threw my luggage away. I think the company needs to train better and professional workers.no wonder United Airline has bad reputation for a while.

"Terrible experience"

✅ Trip Verified | Vancouver to Washington via San Francisco. First flight out of Vancouver for the day, delayed because of weather and San Francisco logistics. Screwed up the entire planned event, multiple stops and layovers, getting to South America. The weather wasn't even an issue, nearly passable as light rain. Gate staff didn't say much, poor English skills too. Processing customers for alternatives was also snail-slow. Awful unqualified, useless staff. Captain was sarcastic, the icing on the cake for an awful display. Terrible experience. Left my girlfriend waiting at another airport. Imbeciles, the whole lot of them. Never flying United again. Makes sense, all the reviews here are bad. This just in, maybe because the company sucks, and is just that, bad. Not recommended, don't book United. 1-10, the initial cheapest ticket on the market, scheduling. USA border security agent had a sense of humour that day.

✅ Trip Verified | Absolutely horrible check-in service. There is no point in downloading the app because you cannot use it to check it. I called the help desk and they were even more useless telling me I just had to go to the airport and that there was only one set of seats side by side... thank you United Airlines for messing up our return flight from our amazing honeymoon! Take any other airline but United!

"Families Beware!"

Not Verified | Los Angeles to Denver with United Airlines. Families Beware! They over sold our flight, gave away our reserved seats, split up our family, then gave us nothing but empty excuses. We were eventually told just to 'go on the website, and lodge a complaint'. We saw three other families on our flight that they had done the exact same thing too, splitting them up.

"I’d prefer to take a bus"

✅ Trip Verified | Chicago to Newark. Frequent international traveller on multiple airlines, it was my first time on United, to go for a working lunch in Chicago from New York. Morning flight delayed an hour, and return flight delayed multiple times, summing to 4h. No other options, all flights booked to any NY airports. I knew United had a reputation, but they clearly exceeded all my expectations. Never again, I’d prefer to take a bus!

"Tired and frustrated"

✅ Trip Verified | Washington Dulles to Chicago O’Hare with United Airlines. Flight was delayed because ground crew fueled the flight for Mexico, not O'Hare. We were delayed over an hour to take the excess fuel out of the tank. This caused my wife and I to miss our connection from O'Hare to Madison WI via Van Galder bus line. We had to wait at the Bus/Shuttle Center for 6 hours. Tired and frustrated was not a way we wanted to end our vacation.
