"never fly with Southwest Airlines again"

Trip Verified | I flew twice on Southwest Airlines. Both times, my flights either got cancelled or the flight got delayed and schedules were changed multiple times since booking. I have horrible experiences with this airline flight cancellation and delay. I Would never fly with Southwest Airlines again. It seems this airline doesn't care about its customers' valuable time at all. I am not surprised when finding on this board so many negative reviews from people expressing the same feelings and frustration.

"made my sister feel very comfortable"

Trip Verified | The flight attendant on this plane was much better than my original Experience heading out to Orlando on the 9th. He was very nice, made my sister feel very comfortable. She started having a panic attack and he comforted her and made her feel safe on the plane.

"will never take Southwest again"

Chicago to Phoenix via Denver. I will never take Southwest Airlines ever again. They were horrible they changed the flight and I had to stay in Chicago another day which I was already there for 2 days. Didn't ask for a hotel because they told me that they don't have any more vouchers so I had to sleep at Chicago airport. The staff in Chicago airport was very unprofessional my luggage got to Phoenix before I did and then when I picked my luggage up in Phoenix, it was broken. Nobody could give me the answer to what happened. I will be sticking with Delta and American airlines from now on. I was traveling for my wedding, and we had to push it back for 1 day, which cost me and my hubby now a lot because I was late getting back to Phoenix.

"could not pre board unless in uniform"

Not Verified | I was highly unsatisfied when flying with Southwest. Being currently active duty, I was told I could not pre board unless in uniform. Anyone in the military knows you are a target when wearing your uniform in public places and are told not to. Southwest either needs to let all military members pre board or none at all. They say they support military but obviously not. Do not fly Southwest, unless you want to deal with rude, and nasty service.

"She was very patient"

Not Verified | I want to complement the lady that I spoke to on the phone. Her name is Julie and she helped me a lot and she was extremely nice. She was very patient as I made a big mistake and we had to do everything over again.

"does not care about it's customers"

Not Verified | I would never recommend anyone fly with a company that does not care about it's customers. I bought a flight during very early COVID for $331. As the time for flying come near the warnings made me cancel. I rescheduled hoping the pandemic would calm. Again I cancelled. Since it was a certain fair they deducted $100 from my flight and issued a Luv voucher. This was only good for 6 months. I ended up scheduling for 8 months to fly again. Southwest told me I can't extend my voucher and took the other $221! I am out the $331 without ever receiving any services whatsoever. I contacted customer service to see if I could get any credit for my upcoming flight and they replied sorry. I'm sorry I ever booked on SW in the first place.

"Ridiculous delays"

Not Verified | Ridiculous delays. We boarded the plane late due to weather. That was fine but after sitting an hour and a half waiting to pull away from the gate, I am cross. The flight crew gave at least 4 different reasons why we could not take off and we are still waiting. I have flown only one Southwest flight in my life that was actually on time. Did I mention that my husband had just had surgery and the longer flight was painful.

"I am beyond frustrated with this airline"

Not Verified | I am beyond frustrated with this airline as a concerned mother whose child is flying alone for the first time. I called the airline over 10 times and received a different story each time, to make matters even worse you can't speak to a manager or a supervisor because apparently they have none. Eventually I found out you can talk to a service coordinator. No wonder no one's on the same page and they all give you different answers! Who trained them or taught them what the airline procedures are. They don't care that you can't afford for the flight to keep going up like they said they have no control over it but neither do they have control of the procedures. I couldn't even book my child a minor under my account because they are so worried about whatever point system they have going on. They obviously need a family plan where you can have your spouse and children under. Especially for someone who gets frustrated on the internet quickly. They have made the beginning of my trip with my daughter hell and my finances tight because they had to refund me and were so happy to book another flight because apparently I'm so rich. I can't wait 3 days till the refund comes in to get another flight because I would have lost the price I could pay. So I had to come up with money for another flight which of course went up the next day but hey at least she said "I'm Sorry".

"Southwest you are not the airline you used to be"

Not Verified | Will never trust Southwest Airlines again. What a fiasco trying to get out of Tampa on April 2nd. Eventually canceled our flight and offered absolutely no guidance on what to do at that point. Waited in line for information for 2 hours. Waited at baggage line for 2 hours to retrieve soaking wet suitcases. Finally decided to rent a car, in line for 3 hours and drive to Buffalo instead of waiting till Wednesday or Thursday for a new flight. I especially felt sorry for all of the families with children having to go thru the same ordeal as myself and my husband. Southwest you are not the airline you used to be.

"They are not helpful at all"

Not Verified | I have been a loyal Southwest customer but I am now looking for other options. Two days and two canceled flights is too much. I understand that may not be their fault but their customer service is no longer like it used to be. They are not helpful at all and you are just on your own which is very unfortunate. Right now I would be very gracious in giving them a 1 star rating. Very disappointed!
