GOA-MUC-LED and TLL-FRA-MXP. The first leg was by Air Dolomiti on ATR 42, the service was good
and landed on time in spite of terrible weather Transit smooth and the hub is spacious and
well-organized. The second leg to LED operated by an oldish A320: no IFE but helpful staff and
good service. TLL to FRA on a very old 737: we were boarded on time but we left the gate after
1hour and half due to fuel leakage. We landed in FRA when my MXP flight (the last of the day)
was supposed to be taking off but they waited for me and eventually arrived in MXP delayed by
1 hour. My luggage did not make the connection but promptly arrived the next day. Overall, an
average experience.

MUC-CDG-MUC. Onward flight with CityLine E195, delay 0h45. Return flight with A320, delay 1h30
due to bad weather. Professional, kind crew. All explanations and apologies given from crew.
Meal (small sandwich) barely existent, but drinks offered twice on these 1h20 flights. Good
value for money!

I was pleasantly surprised with quality of Economy SFO to Frankfurt, then on to Cairo. The
biggest minus was the lack of seatback video or ac power outlets in the 747-400. There was
seatback PTV on the Cairo leg. The seat pitch was fine, even with the guy in front of me fully
reclined the whole flight. The service, while not effusive, was efficient. I liked being able
to move around the cabin and galley and have any kind of drinks the whole flight. The food was
not fantastic but better than expected - beer was excellent. A later flight on Cathay had
worse food. Everything was handled well by the airline.

FRA-KIX business class. The load was very low with just 5 passengers in business class.
Service was courteous. Food was good, wine selection was impressive. FAs were available during
the flight. AVOD features several movies; however, these were identical to offerings from
December flight. Amenity kits basic.

HEL-FRA-PEK return on A320 and B747-400. Excellent value in Economy despite the lack on PTVs
on their old B747s. Full service with menu cards, meal choices etc. on longer legs, no
complaints about safety, meals nor drinks on shorter legs either. Lufthansa cabin crews
deserve a bonus for their efficiency and professional attitude.

Frankfurt to Cape Town round trip on A340-600, full both ways. Economy seats were equipped
with PTVs which made the long flights bearable. Toilets in lower deck were an interesting
experience with a self-service bar downstairs. The location of the stairs however was odd as
it seems to collide with the crew's main working space. Flight attendants cheerful and
provided good service. Food mediocre and seats not too comfortable though not as bad as on
their 747s. Tickets were not cheap but worth the extra on this flight.

FRA-BKK in Business. Lounge in terminal 1C - only positive about this lounge was that it has a
direct boarding gate. The lounge itself looks like a university canteen and the atmosphere was
very cold. Food almost non existent, drinks were fine. I don't understand why we still have to
pay for the internet connection in the lounge. Onboard food and drinks was standard, nothing
special. Service polite and efficient. The seat was comfortable but horrible to sleep in.
Toilets were clean during the flight. AVOD OK. Arrived on-time in BKK and priority bags came
out first. Overall a smooth flight however nothing special and very standard would prefer next
time to fly Thai as we did on the way back.

SFO-MUC-DUS return in business class. SFO-MUC and MUC-SFO on A340-600. Great aircraft,
seating, just thinking the 2 bathrooms are not suitable for a total of 64 pax. I used the
downstairs bathroom in economy class. Food of good quality and service efficient. AVOD is
good. MUC-DUS return on A320. clean aircraft, great flight attendants.

ORD-DUS in F class and DUS-ORD in C class. Crew were quick to realise that I wanted to sleep
and was able to order food before take-off and it was delivered 5 mins after seatbelt signs
went off. I was fed and watered with 45 mins and got a good nights sleep until 40 mins before
DUS when a cappucino and a glass of juice arrived without asking. Seats need updating and an
undersheet would be nice. Return in C-Class. Unusual for LH but service was quick, friendly
and efficient. Lots of attention to detail, remembering my wine, suggesting I try something
new, quick to clear away. Although it's nice to be personally greeted as a status customer,

LHR-MUC-FCO-MXP-LHR in economy. Return flights from London to Rome were good value at £130
each booked 1 month before travel. Flight attendants friendly with snacks, drinks and free
alcohol served on all flights. All announcements made in German and English by cabin and
flight crew. Milan - London flight with Lufthansa flight number but operated by BMI was also
excellent. One small irritant was being bused from terminal to aircraft in Munich, Milan and
again on arrival in London - apart from that flights were excellent considering fare paid.

CPH-MUC-SFO in economy. First flight good, and typical of regional LH services. The long-haul
flight was better than expected. Seat pitch in economy is neither better or worse compared to
most airlines. The crew was one of the best I have seen for a long time. They worked non-stop
for almost 12 hours. I think the food was tasty, although I think a healthy snack in between
the main meals is an area for improvement.

OSL-FRA-BUE return. Day flight out and night flight home. Excellent service. Only complaint
is that we could not get boarding passes in Oslo right through to Buenos Aires. Received
Oslo-Frankfurt in Oslo and had to go to a transfer desk in Frankfurt to get the next boarding
pass. Was told it was a system problem which happens now and then - they need to fix that
problem! Otherwise excellent services inflight and otherwise in these airports.

EWR-FRA-BOM-MUC-JFK. Comparing with British Airways, another 4 star airline, here is where
Lufthansa falls short. Frankfurt lounges are too cramped and have shoddy service for the
number of passengers that pass through. Snacks are strange and a poor variety to say the least
- does not feel like a lounge, more like a waiting room in a European station. FRA to BOM the
747 has 80 business class seats which makes the service impersonal. In addition to the FAs
dropping a set of trays/plates near my seat, one of them dropped sparkling water onto my
armrest and an apology or clean-up seemed far flung. Toilets on all aircraft - A330-300,
A340-300/600, B747-400 - the number of toilets were not enough and besides the MUC-JFK leg,
none of the toilets were kept clean as they should on a 4-star airline. In spite of these, I
would use Lufthansa again. However, I will try and avoid B747 flights if possible. Even though
there seems to be a lot of negative commentary on the Lufthansa Recaro seats, I was able to
get a fairly sound sleep on almost all legs (and I am almost 6' tall).

SFO-MUC-BRU Business The long haul flight was one of the best I have had on Lufthansa. The
crew worked well together. A delightful flight and reminded me that crew chemistry is a vital
but often unseen component in travel. MUC-BRU was delayed by a discrepancy in the count. There
were only 34 pax on an RJ and the delay was over an hour. Seems they could have just asked
everyone their name and reconciled the problem. Otherwise uneventful and short.

TXL-MUC-TXL . Cabin crew friendly. Decent seat pitch. All drinks, including beer and wine,
were offered for free. Free newspapers at the airport and in MUC free coffee in self-service.
Smooth, short flights. Would pay more to use Lufthansa instead of low-cost carrier.
