LHR-JFK return B767-400ER with new flat bed seats. Length of seats good, width could have been
2-3 inches wider in the torso area when flat as it felt a little cramped. Table is problematic
to operate, touch screen entertainment good. Cabin crew attended to requests. Food was
standard business class fare. You get served all 3 starters with a choice of main. Priority
bags worked both ways. Lounges adequate, better food and environment in LHR, minimal food and
no windows in JFK T2. When checking in at JFK your ticket/boarding pass will say that the
flight departs from T4. This is correct but you are better off checking in at T2 where there
is dedicated Business Elite section. You will then clear security in T2 which takes only a few
minutes. Use the lounge in T2 then you will be shuttled over to T4 avoiding the crowds. T2
also contains a non-fast food sit down restaurant.

CDG-ATL. Managed to spend about an hour in Air France's Salon, but no announcement made for
boarding, so were the last ones onboard. Clean 767-300 about 70% full. This was the best
flight I have been on in a long time. Very good service from a friendly cabin crew. An
upgraded menu in Business Elite has transformed what was once a very predictable menu. Good
wines, although the selection is a fairly minimal. IFE is a little poor, with quite a lot of
safe, middle of the road movies, but reasonably up to date. It could do with improving it's
kids selections on the IFE system. Flight arrived on a little early and all bags safely
retrieved.

We flew Delta for the first time, and it will be our last time ever. Due to a mechanical
problem with one of our flights, we missed our connecting flight with Delta and we were re-
routed. Against Delta's own policy, they cancelled our entire reservations home without
notifying us. When we went to the airport to return home we were told we had no reservations;
they had all been cancelled. For our trip home Delta then kept issuing us "itineraries" but
gave us no tickets, so each leg of our journey home when we went to a Delta agent for a
boarding pass we were told we had no reservations and would have to try to fly standby. What
was supposed to be a one day trip turned into two full days and we had to take care of our own
overnight accommodations and food. Delta offered no type of food or hotel vouchers. This
trip cost us an additional $300, lost vacation time, and when we contacted Delta about the
situation, they refused to address the issues as to why or how the cancellation happened.
They offered a $100 voucher for a future flight, but that would only mean I would have to
invest more money in an airline that had already let me down several times. They don't have a
phone to contact someone in customer service, so you have to e-mail back and forth and when
they don't meet your expectations and you ask to speak to their supervisor, they refuse that
as well. I wish I would have read other customer reviews before purchasing my tickets with
them.

JFK-KBP-JFK in economy, B767-300ER both ways. Although both planes were old, interior looked
newish. Our kosher meal was tasty both ways, and wine and beer were complimentary. IFE was
lacking, and the in-flight Wi-Fi advertised was not functioning. Flight attendants were
attentive and responded to requests in very timely manner.

London-New York-Orlando, returning via Atlanta in Business Class. Check in at London was
quick, my three children were travelling Economy so were allowed to check in with us, this
saved time. The Delta Lounge at Heathrow is great, good entertainment for the kids with Play
Station 3 etc. Priority boarding good, gave wife and I time to store our hand luggage and then
go and sort out the kids. Not the best Business Class seat - the old still semi flat bed where
you feet tuck in below the seat in front of you. You are provided the usual pre flight drinks
etc, food after take off was spot on. Movie selection was limited, pre arrival lunch was also
good. Some crew nice, some not approachable. Landing in JFK was horrible, baggage came out
quickly, humid inside the airport however once you go to the Delta connection area you get a
sense of releif as staff take your luggage and sort it out for the connection flight. Delta
should consider their JFK connection, it is a terrible airport. JFK to Orlando was good, apart
from Economy having to buy their own food and headphones. Return flight from Orlando was well
organised, were allowed the Kerb Side check in - told our flight was delayed so were put on
one earlier which was also delayed but this meant we met our connection from Atlanta to
Heathrow. Delta have a huge fleet and you do not realise this till you go to the USA. The
lounge in JFK and Atlanta is not very nice, but LHR great.

If you have another option choose another airline and pay more, because in the end you will be
better off. Delta does absolutely nothing to help a customer if they have a problem with a
flight/plane. The airline stranded my parents, bused them to another airport but managed to
miss that flight too then finally my parents got booked on another airlines with an arrival
time at midnight so the hotel shuttle wasn't running that late and they had to pay for a taxi.
Total estimated travel time went from 7 hours to 18 hours, and they just don't care. My
parents are 76 and 82 and were expected to drag their checked-in bags around both airports.
Of course this was after Delta took their money for checking in the bags and never got to use
it. No compensation from Delta at all. They wouldn't even let them try to stay in San Jose
and take the same flight out the next day and there were seats available on it. Apparently
they just don't care for their customers. We paid more for my parents to be on the Delta than
the United flights because we wanted a bigger plane and shorter travel time. Now they are on
flights we could have booked for $200 less per person if we wanted to take all day to get to
Savannah. Again no willingness to make the situation right and no customer service. There
wasn't even a Delta person at the airport to meet them when they got off the bus. They were
left to vend for themselves and then figure out what to do when they saw the rebooked flight
had already left. There are better airlines out there. Use of them and have a more pleasant
and enjoyable trip. United is the airlines that finally got them to Savannah.

Guess luggage is now something that we aren't suppose to travel with or else we have to lug it
on board and have others wait while we try to stuff it into the overhead. We have very small
suitcases - smaller than many that were carry-on, but we are also seniors and it is difficult
to put things in the overhead. Instead we get charged $15 each piece, while many had one to
two very heavy and larger than is accepted. Took forever to get on and off the plane as
people were trying to heft their luggage into the overhead or retrieve it. Not impressed!

ATH-ATL-SFO. Worst flight ever. Dirty toilets, non functional lights, disturbing alarm that
did not stop and most uncomfortable flight. For a 12 hour flight from Athens to Atlanta there
are no individual tv screens or choice of entertainment for economy cabin.

JFK-BUF and BUF-ATL-CDG. Another poor experience on Delta. JFK-BUF cancelled as our flight
attendant didn't show up and no replacement could be found. We were put in an awful hotel at
JFK and on standby the next morning for a 9am departure. Full flight and then rescheduled in
the afternoon for a flight to Rochester, NY as our only option. Taxi to BUF. Arrival in BUF 17
hours after original arrival time. Pathetic for an hour flight. A bus, a ride or a train would
have been quicker. The usual rude staff at JFK with a don't care attitude. This resulted in
losing a whole day of work with no compensation offered by Delta so far. I'm starting to
wonder what a Skyteam Elite membership gets you on Delta. Obviously not very much. Very nice
young, professional and helpful woman at check-in in BUF. And this, with a smile! ATL-CDG no
PTV, cramped seats, awful food. Flight attendants did their meal service and then disappeared
until breakfast.
