✅ Trip Verified | Flew NYC to Lisbon and back. Delta provides a surprisingly enjoyable experience: both flights were punctual, fine IFE with lots of fun movies, food and drinks were top notch, friendly crews always happy to provide an extra snack or drink, even an alcoholic one. Also, I fell and hurt my leg the day before my return flight and they let me check my carryon for free.

✅ Trip Verified | This is the first time I have flown Delta. This flight was scheduled to leave at 1 PM from JFK to Buffalo. It pulled back from the gate. It headed toward the runway, but was turned around and returned to the gate. After waiting 50 minutes with no explanation whatsoever, passengers started getting antsy and asking questions. we were told that there was a piece of equipment mandated by the FAA, that had to be obtained before the plane could leave. We waited an additional 30 minutes. Ultimately, they received a small item that was inconspicuously delivered to a passenger. As it turns out, it was a seatbelt extender. When originally pulling away from the gate, they only had one on board. This particular passenger required a second one. That is what we waited an hour and a half for. It is understood that every person deserves dignity, it is ridiculous to have delayed 90 people a total of two hours, awaiting a seatbelt extender. The passenger requiring this should have been deboarded and placed on the next flight with the appropriate equipment. Additionally, what was most upsetting about this was the deceit. The seatbelt extender was. delivered to the passenger very secretly. The minute it was delivered, we were backed out of the jetway and in a queue of 12 planes to takeoff. Altogether, the delay was 2 to 2 1/2 hours. The flight was a 50 minute flight.

Not Verified | I have booked this flight about a week ahead to Austin Texas to attend a family funeral, and I paid $533 for the round trip assuming to get assigned seat. For the departure flight I was given a seat from Ontario to SLC and to Austin Texas. However in my return flight there is no seat assigned either to SLC from Austin or SLC to Ontario. Then I have noticed the available seats have to be sold to passengers who wanted to upgrade, then the left overs will be assigned to a passenger like myself who got the last seat. What is going on in this airline just to profit is not fair. I have noticed there is no respect nor acknowledgement to the passengers booked for economy class. If you charge $533 for economy class Delta airlines should accommodate accordingly. You cannot just toss us to the last row because you have to make more money. Very disappointing. The person who is checking in to the aircraft whose name is Eve didn’t even want to assign me a seat. She kept giving me the run around telling me my name is in the board which wasn’t the whole time. I’m disgusted with this airline and will never book a flight with.

✅ Trip Verified | I would recommend avoiding Delta if at all possible. We had booked to fly from Atlanta to Dublin but ended up having our flight delayed 2+ hours. During the delay, the Delta desk agents would not answer any questions about the cause of the delay or how long the delay would be. The staff overall seemed to not know what was going on and even later stated that they "needed to go see what was going on" before they would be able to provide a departure time. Overall, the impression is of a poorly run airline, with staff that were unable or unwilling to answer any questions.

✅ Trip Verified | This airline is terrible. They refused to turn on the air conditioning while they made us wait for 40 minutes in the miserable cabin. Not only did they not turn on the air one of the flight attendants went onto the overhead speaker and yelled at us for asking. They have not offered water either. They also sold me a ticket in which it said I would be able to have a carry on. They ended up making me check it, they are making me go to the baggage claim to get it, and there was no compensation. This is a miserable airline and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not Verified | It’s 1 hour plus now after takeoff and sitting in 26B, have yet to receive a snack or beverage. It was turbulent for 10 minutes after taking off, so the snack n beverage service was delayed and I understand. However, they started and got from first class to row 24 and stopped, no turbulence Then when they began again they started in first class again and stopped at front of main cabin. Now it’s 1:20 later and they are only at row 15! Not only slow on uptake, but very rude to serve some rows 2 or 3 times, while the rest of us are within anything Dinner hour and free is choice of 4 snacks or $12 or $10 purchase offerings. I get that weather delayed inbound

✅ Trip Verified |  Considering my review below, this was surprising. Mediocre at best. Seat etc was fine but so much was not. To start, some( not all) of the crew was grouchy or impersonal. A few were great. Second, at the gate free fast Wi-Fi was announced, neither was true. Once we crossed the coast line wi fi shut off for the rest of the trip.The crew insisted that was normal but considering on the same flight(reverse direction) same type aircraft we had full service, that just wasn’t true. One crew member quie2tly agreed and didn’t understand. In any case at least half the fee should be refunded (good luck to me.) The food was mediocre at best.In between the meal and snack only chips and cookies were available (10 1/2 hour trip) IFE was fine. I guess real complaint was a majority of crew who wanted to be anywhere else.

✅ Trip Verified |  A really good experience. Because these are the old LATAM jets with 2-2-2 seating I was expecting a second rate trip. I was wrong. Seat was more comfortable than Delta Suites for sleeping. Crew was great. Warm and proactive service from start to finish. Skipped dinner 1130pm departure) so I could sleep but breakfast 1 1/2 before landing was quite good. Didn’t watch anything but wi fi was great. Arrived early, everything was perfect.

✅ Trip Verified | I do not know if I will fly Delta again. Their first class was good except the crew, never said hi or anything nice. They just grunted a lot to us. I know it is a hard job for them.

Not Verified | Delta Airlines is the best airline I’ve ever flown. Our flight was not delayed, I got free access to the Delta Sky Club and I didn’t even have a membership. The economy seat was super comfortable, and we got seatback entertainment. They offered earplugs, and headphones to listen to the back entertainment. It works super well. There were so many options to choose from. They were passing out dinner. But I just got a cranberry cocktail And some cookies. We had the smoothest landing I have ever seen. If you haven’t flown Delta before, I recommend it on your next trip. The staff are super kind, on time, departure, and arrival, and it really feels like your first class in economy. The only thing that I recommend out for is the prices. For example, I flew around Christmas time, which is pretty expensive for Delta airlines. So if you want to fly, Delta, fly around February. That’s the best prices to fly with Delta but other than that, I highly recommen, was very satisfied.
