JFK-Malaga good both ways. On time performance with professional cabin crew. Seats wider
than usual in Coach and meals edible.

TPA-ATL-LGW, LGW-ATL-TPA. The outgoing flight from Tampa to Atlanta was a disappointment,
after a long delay due the flight arriving late from Atlanta, my window seat was changed to a
middle seat on boarding with no explanation. The flight was full and there was not enough
overhead space for all the carry-on luggage. Soft drinks and a choice of peanuts, pretzels or
cookies were offered. Atlanta to London flight was better, seat back entertainment offered
with a good variety of entertainment, full dinner with a choice of a southwestern chicken or
pasta and before landing breakfast sandwiches with fruit. The staff could have been better at
bringing water around during the night. The return flight from London to Atlanta was much
better, although an overhead entertainment system did not offer the variety there was on the
outbound flight, the food was good, a choice between an omelette or chicken with potatoes,
and the service much better as water was continually offered and the cabin crew were very
friendly. On the flight from Atlanta to Tampa my seat was once again changed at the gate,
again with no explanation and little understanding by the gate crew. Again the flight was full
and there was not enough space in the overhead for everyones carry-on luggage. Soft drinks and
a choice of pretzels, peanuts or cookies.

Berlin-JFK, on a B767-300ER. Delta cabin crew now spot stylish uniforms which adds to the
crispness in the brand image. The meal service is quite decent as well. Choices though pretty
standard (chicken or pasta in economy), are tasty, and the selections adequate, plus free
alcohol. Mid-flight refreshment, in addition to pre-arrival light meal service (pizza and
cookie). Aging fleet means cabin comfort is lacking. No personal in-flight entertainment - I
do understand Delta is taking steps to re-outfit this fleet. Headrests are also lacking.

Atlanta-Dubai-Atlanta on B777LR. I was quite impressed with the new lie-flat bed on this
route. The comfort of the seating/sleeping area compared favorably with Cathay Pacific and is
laid out in the same sort of herringbone pattern. Very comfortable in seating and sleeping
positions. Good AVOD with easy touch-screen controls. The tray table operation is counter-
intuitive and requires some practice. Food was average business-class fare; wine selection
limited but imaginative. The cabin crew service was gracious and efficient without being
cloying or obsequious. The Atlanta terminal is a good one for both ends of the trip,
especially if you're transferring to or from another flight in the US. Customs/immigration is
efficient and transferring to another Delta flight is easy.

Newark to Amsterdam. After a pleasant trip out with Air France, thought we would experience
something similar - not the case. The air vent above our seat had been covered in white tape,
great first impression. The inflight entertainment was non existent, no sound working. The
quality of food was poor and we hardly saw any flight attendants during the flight, so
customer service was poor. However, it was a couple with twin girls that really hit home.
The service they received was very bad. Air France provide baby cots, this couple were left
holding the baby for 7.5 hours on Delta.

Various transatlantic economy on 757/767 aircraft. Not a single flight had seatback TV, but
miniscule monitors too far to view or risk neck-ache. Very poor quality seat, pitch, food and
blankets. Although in new uniforms, staff ranged from angry to apathetic, were poorly groomed
and looked harried and unhappy. Unless flying BizElite (itself having a record 6 seat types!)
DL operated transatlantic sectors on 757/767 offer a very poor experience. One wonders why
covering a poor worn seat in new pleather and all the re-painting is money worth spent, when
DL could have enhanced food & entertainment?

CDG-ATL . We were seated the economy section on the 767-300. Incredible lack of leg room and
the seats were very uncomfortable. Although the cabin crew was not rude, they certainly didn't
go out of their way to be cordial. The meals consisted of some kind of pasta with spinach, a
snack of what looked like a slice of pizza and then beverages. Personally, I wondered why
serve such poor food at all. There was an announcement that clearly stated that coach
passengers were not to use the restrooms in the business class. I accept this, but the
announcement seemed to be presented harshly. From my point of view, there are just so many
seats up front, and even though a passenger might want a business class seat, one may not be
available when booking a flight. So, why show what seems to be contempt for the coach
passengers.

Atlanta to Dubai. I have avoided using the US carriers for several years, but chose Delta this
time due to their non-stop which was much cheaper than Emirates. The new, fully-flat business
seat was quite comfortable and allowed a great sleep. The food was quite good, and the on-
demand entertainment system is excellent. Service friendly and unobtrusive. The only
negative was a less than clean plane (discarded bags left behind the seat and fingerprints on
the panels).

So disappointed I was with my recent trip on Delta Air Lines. All of my trips were either
cancelled or delayed with missed connections. It was a nightmare and not easy for my
travelling companion, a 91 year old woman. We spent a great deal of money and time making
sure that we arrived on time for the flight. You would think that the airline would do their
part and make sure the trip is made and on time.

LHR-JFK return B767-400ER with new flat bed seats. Length of seats good, width could have been
2-3 inches wider in the torso area when flat as it felt a little cramped. Table is problematic
to operate, touch screen entertainment good. Cabin crew attended to requests. Food was
standard business class fare. You get served all 3 starters with a choice of main. Priority
bags worked both ways. Lounges adequate, better food and environment in LHR, minimal food and
no windows in JFK T2. When checking in at JFK your ticket/boarding pass will say that the
flight departs from T4. This is correct but you are better off checking in at T2 where there
is dedicated Business Elite section. You will then clear security in T2 which takes only a few
minutes. Use the lounge in T2 then you will be shuttled over to T4 avoiding the crowds. T2
also contains a non-fast food sit down restaurant.

CDG-ATL. Managed to spend about an hour in Air France's Salon, but no announcement made for
boarding, so were the last ones onboard. Clean 767-300 about 70% full. This was the best
flight I have been on in a long time. Very good service from a friendly cabin crew. An
upgraded menu in Business Elite has transformed what was once a very predictable menu. Good
wines, although the selection is a fairly minimal. IFE is a little poor, with quite a lot of
safe, middle of the road movies, but reasonably up to date. It could do with improving it's
kids selections on the IFE system. Flight arrived on a little early and all bags safely
retrieved.

We flew Delta for the first time, and it will be our last time ever. Due to a mechanical
problem with one of our flights, we missed our connecting flight with Delta and we were re-
routed. Against Delta's own policy, they cancelled our entire reservations home without
notifying us. When we went to the airport to return home we were told we had no reservations;
they had all been cancelled. For our trip home Delta then kept issuing us "itineraries" but
gave us no tickets, so each leg of our journey home when we went to a Delta agent for a
boarding pass we were told we had no reservations and would have to try to fly standby. What
was supposed to be a one day trip turned into two full days and we had to take care of our own
overnight accommodations and food. Delta offered no type of food or hotel vouchers. This
trip cost us an additional $300, lost vacation time, and when we contacted Delta about the
situation, they refused to address the issues as to why or how the cancellation happened.
They offered a $100 voucher for a future flight, but that would only mean I would have to
invest more money in an airline that had already let me down several times. They don't have a
phone to contact someone in customer service, so you have to e-mail back and forth and when
they don't meet your expectations and you ask to speak to their supervisor, they refuse that
as well. I wish I would have read other customer reviews before purchasing my tickets with
them.

JFK-KBP-JFK in economy, B767-300ER both ways. Although both planes were old, interior looked
newish. Our kosher meal was tasty both ways, and wine and beer were complimentary. IFE was
lacking, and the in-flight Wi-Fi advertised was not functioning. Flight attendants were
attentive and responded to requests in very timely manner.

London-New York-Orlando, returning via Atlanta in Business Class. Check in at London was
quick, my three children were travelling Economy so were allowed to check in with us, this
saved time. The Delta Lounge at Heathrow is great, good entertainment for the kids with Play
Station 3 etc. Priority boarding good, gave wife and I time to store our hand luggage and then
go and sort out the kids. Not the best Business Class seat - the old still semi flat bed where
you feet tuck in below the seat in front of you. You are provided the usual pre flight drinks
etc, food after take off was spot on. Movie selection was limited, pre arrival lunch was also
good. Some crew nice, some not approachable. Landing in JFK was horrible, baggage came out
quickly, humid inside the airport however once you go to the Delta connection area you get a
sense of releif as staff take your luggage and sort it out for the connection flight. Delta
should consider their JFK connection, it is a terrible airport. JFK to Orlando was good, apart
from Economy having to buy their own food and headphones. Return flight from Orlando was well
organised, were allowed the Kerb Side check in - told our flight was delayed so were put on
one earlier which was also delayed but this meant we met our connection from Atlanta to
Heathrow. Delta have a huge fleet and you do not realise this till you go to the USA. The
lounge in JFK and Atlanta is not very nice, but LHR great.
