I am a regular premium-cabin traveller and loved the SAS flight. The cabin was well appointed the flight crew friendly and attentive and the seat comfortable. The catering and IFE were great. The only issue was the seat length; for those of us who are 6' or over the seat is too short. In the sleeping position this can be remedied by dropping the leg support and while one ends up in a slightly experimental position I slept well for several hours. All in all a first experience that I will happily repeat.

I was travelling with SK1605 Boeing 737-600 ARN-ZRH November 7 in Economy Extra Seat 3F. SAS managed an early departure and due to strong head winds and we arrived according to schedule. Cabin staff friendly and food was ok despite salmon which is much too common on SAS flights. The cabin in this class has decent comfort but far from best. The cabin service however makes you forget this fact.

ARN-CDG Aged MD. Delayed because of late connecting flight from Oslo. Delayed again because of overbooking. Very nice friendly staff disgusting sandwiches good information from the Captain. I will always fly SAS because of their excellent youth prices. A big plus is the check-in you can do yourself at the machines at the airport. Takes 2 minutes to print out your boarding card and then just go and drop your luggage.

Flew from Hamburg to Copenhagen earlier this year. The 40 minute light was delayed by 30 minutes. Seats were a little small but cabin crew were very friendly. A short but relatively pleasant flight.

LUX - CPH in a new CRJ 900 neat and clean aircraft. I seemed like the only leisure traveller flying out of Luxembourg that day. 15 min delay at takeoff due to late arriving aircraft but arrived in Copenhagen on time. Welcoming and friendly crew and good coffee this time. Solid service and good info from the captain during the flight.

AAR - CPH - BRU on Oct 12th. Early morning flight from Aarhus to Copenhagen with an ageing MD 80. Good friendly service. Good info from the Captain. Free breakfast (a bun coffee tea juice) and newspapers available also on this 25-min flight. Short 40 min transfer at CPH which usually is enough when transferring to EU flights. No exception here. Flight to Brussels was uneventful. No service in Economy Class on European routes apart from a cup of terrible coffee. Both flights on time and luggage arrived as expected. Punctual and solid service but nothing more.

OSL-LHR on an ageing B737-600. Found the transfer desk staff to be rude. Otherwise the flight was fine arrived late due to fog in London Heathrow but pilot kept all informed and onboard staff were rather okay as well.

DUB-CPH very old MD used on this route but comfortable seat with good leg room. Arrived into CPH a couple of minutes early despite strong crosswinds. 40 minute connection to Estonian Air flight to Tallinn no problem connecting gate information provided on a screen on disembarking in CPH which is a great help. Luggage arrived in Tallinn even with the tight connection.

CPH-BKK last week. I had to pay restaurant prices for drinks due to the new SAS onboard service policy. Completely unacceptable for a 11 hour long-haul flight for which I was charged €1170 one way in Economy. SAS is supposed to be the mother of Star Alliance but it has degraded to be no more than a low-cost airline charging high-cost prices. I am never flying SAS long-haul flights again.
