LHE-LHR on B777. Smooth check-in excellent staff. The thing that PIA could improve on is the availability of Continental meals. By the time the crew reached the back rows it was no longer available. The choice of movies in the IFE is old.

Karachi to Lahore Economy Plus. Check in easy enough at Awards Plus counter. A319 which had 3 classes clean enough and legroom acceptable for this sub 2 hour flight. Crew were pleasant and flight was full. Standard fare of chicken sandwich and kheer hot and cold drinks. Lahore to Karachi food standard fare and service was pleasant enough.

BKK-HKG. Plane very old inside and seats creaky TV blurry. Flight was fine check-in was quick most passengers were already on the plane from Islamabad. Staff friendly enough and food was ok from BKK. Waited a long time for the bags upon arrival.

Karachi-London. Boarding was chaotic with pushing and shoving. Once onboard cabin crew were polite though more involved in looking after VIPs traveling on the flight. Food average and some items were too spicy the toilets were a disgrace. They were dirty and wet and no soaps for washing hands. Had to remind the crew thrice for it. IFE was outdated. Flight was delayed out of KHI over 2 hours. All in all a very below average flight.

YYZ-KHI. I made a request for a special meal (non-dairy veg) well in advance of the flight and reconfirmed with PIA prior to my departure. On the flight I was served lamb for dinner and chicken for breakfast. I ate two small salads during this 16 hour flight and the flight attendant insisted no special meal had been provided for me. Cheap tickets but I guess you get what you pay for.

Kabul to Islamabad old Boeing 737-300 looked like it had no maintenance for weeks. Inflight service was alright crew were professional.

Lahore-Barcelona return. Crew friendly and attentive with nice traditional uniforms bringing soft drinks round. The inflight entertainment was really poor on the B777-300 economy class seat has best recline angle of any economy class I have sat in. Adventurous food menu - spicy curry. The entertainment is really bad so make sure you pack a book or magazine!

KHI to LHE. Ground agents polite and helpful. Security check very thorough. B772 LR was almost new personal IFE in economy and a full dinner was served. Quality of food was good and tasty. Inflight crew also cheerful.

Man-Isb B777-300ER. The flight was nice fantastic seats. The food was not bad good IFE with good movies to watch. Isb-Man B777-200LR was one of the worst flights ever! The seats weren't as good as the B777-300ER and the cabin was dull and depressing. I could hardly push my seat back no the recline and the seats were cramped and I'm only 5"2. The food was again not bad and the flight entertainment was rubbish.

LHR-KHI-LHR route. Both legs were great. Flights on time new 777s very decent IFE (much better on the 777-300) and great meals. Crew professional but could be a bit friendlier. And what really set them apart is the 40kg per PAX baggage allowance! That’s one critic eliminated and one satisfied customer created.
