Pakistan Intl Airlines

Just flew Paris to Lahore with my family and we were very satisfied. Good service great food polite staff and spacious seats with personal screen but lacked good entertainment system. We liked the Boeing 777 seating.

ISB-MAN return. 777 with 3x3x3 seating arrangement which were comfortable and ample leg space. Nice and professional crew on both sides served with a smile and always courteous. Main meals were very good but a bit spicy for Western taste buds second meals served prior to landing and light breakfast on return which were OK and should be improved. Personal screens but very limited movie choices. Flights left late but landed on time.

ISB-HKK. Boarded on time but due to issues with luggage loading delayed 30 minutes but landed HKK on time. Staff very attentive and well mannered. Plane A310 which is almost 20 years old. Entertainment system still old TFT screens. Seating was very comfortable much better than the Cathy Pacific's A330 economy class arrangement. Overall very impressed.

ORD-KHI. Excellent inflight service. Crew was very courteous. Seats are getting old but very comfortable. Good food. Flight was delayed.

Lahore to Karachi one way. Travelled Economy class on the 777-300. Flight less than half full fares not cheap at equivalent of £90 one way. Departed on time at 06.30 before any fog issues. Snack served which is just a sandwich dessert tea and coffee. Nothing substantial hence why its called a snack. Landed on time. Bags out quickly and plenty of time to get Emirates connection.

ISB-YYZ-KHI business class in July 2011. While the interior of the plane was aged the seats were very comfortable food passable and service quite good. The amenity kit and pajamas were a nice touch. No alcohol of course. For the price this is a good deal for business class. And you can't beat the timing into Toronto. Departure at 7:30 Am from Islamabad and arrival in YYZ at 1PM same day. There's no more direct route to travel between Islamabad and Toronto. From that point of view alone this flight is a good choice and worth considering particularly for Toronto bound passengers but you have to accept that this flight will not have the amenities that Emirates Etihad Qatar and other airlines that fly internationally in and out of Islamabad.

JFK-LHE-KHI. Good service comfortable 777 food was good. IFE and website/online booking and check-in really needs to be improved and was the only downside for me.

Old aircraft's poor inflight entertainment unfriendly cabin crew. Haughty and unfriendly staff at check-in. Overall a poor experience.

KHI to Colombo return on 737. Had riots in Karachi flight delayed by more than 5 hrs but the commitment shown by the staff was appreciated. In absence of stewards another cockpit crew served the passengers. Food was good. However the aircraft's condition was not what we would have like to see.

Lahore to Karachi. B777-200ER's. Nice aircraft friendly staff food quality was decent with a 10 mins delay on departure. Overall a nice service.
