ZRH-DXB and return on A380 which is a pleasure to fly as it give a little feeling of space in economy. Good seat width and very quite aircraft. Good service and food though not as good as the best asian airlines. Great IFE. 4 flights on Emirates and everything went fine. But the B777 in 3-4-3 should be avoided when possible.

I was shocked at how bad the service was from Emirates. The flight attendants were rude, abrupt and everything was so slow. We were delayed on the way there and again on the way back. Waiting an hour for baggage in Dubai!

DXB-NRT (777-300ER) and HND-DXB (777-200LR). Seat very narrow with the 3-4-3 configuration. Noisy aircraft. Cabin crew good but a little bit slow to serve the first meal (2 h after take off which means 5 am). Catering good in quality and quantity though not as good as the best Asian companies. IFE great. 4 flights on Emirates and everything went fine. But the B777 in 3-4-3 should be avoided when possible.

Very full flight in economy but crew did well. Departure was slightly delayed but arrival at DXB on schedule. Seat comfort good with better than average leg room. Hot towels and menu cards are nice touches. Food good in terms of taste, quality and quantity. Excellent selection of premium drinks. Because of busy flight the crew took a long time to clear trays but requests for extra drinks were met. Toilets kept clean.

Very disappointed with Emirates as I've heard people praise them. Where do I start? Touch screens for TV/movies did not work properly, I was constantly having to press it. I had two sets of headphones and neither worked properly. Attendants seemed constantly harried with poor time management skills, although they seemed to find lots of time to have a group gossip in the galley at the back. On the Dubai-London leg the young man in the window seat near me as getting wet from an overhead drip originating in the air outlet. When he asked politely if he could move he was told curtly no he could not, even though there were spare seats. Just before we touched down in London there was announcement could the five gentlemen who should have been travelling to London Gatwick make themselves known to cabin crew. How can the Emirates staff let people booked on a London Gatwick flight get onto a London Heathrow flight? We had a good laugh about that one.

Flew EK372 from Dubai to Bangkok on the A380. The A380 is a magnificent aircraft! Overall, very impressed with their service this time. Complete opposite to the previous times I've flown with them. The crew were superb, chatty and greeted passengers with welcoming smiles. During the flight they were very attentive and when called there were no grumpy faces! In terms of entertainment, I don't think any airline can beat Emirates' ICE entertainment system. It's fantastic and you'd never get bored with their selection of movies offered on their enormous screens (bigger than your standard iPad!). Loved their on board cameras too. Seats and legroom on the A380 are great - by far better than their cramped 777s! The plane was also only half full so I had 2 spare seats next to me. The food was good although I wasn't very hungry and didn't finish it all but needless to say there was plenty, not to mention the extra snacks offered on board. Emirates also give you real cutlery not plastic ones. Only downside is that toilets got quite dirty and weren't taken care of by the crew (but this of course is also down to careless passengers) and WIFI didn't work properly though with all of the above, you forgot it was even there. I shall look forward to flying back with them next month. I highly recommend.

I have flown Emirates 3 times in the last six months but clearly customer loyalty means nothing to them. My mother, brother and I are scheduled to fly with them to Italy tomorrow for my brother's 21st birthday but we got a call from them today (less than 24 hours before our flight) to say that our flight has been cancelled and we have been moved to another flight. The problem with this is that we were scheduled to arrive in Rome at 07h25 in the morning after a short 3 hour layover in Dubai but now they were making us arrive at 20h20 in the evening after a 16 hour layover in Dubai! I have called Emirates countless times today and wasted my entire day trying to get an earlier flight and they say there is nothing they can do. We are only going for 5 days so to lose an entire day, have a 16 hour layover and lose out on all the tours we had planned is just unacceptable. Very disappointing. This is the last time I will be flying Emirates.

DXB-LAX - June 4th 2015 - The positives: Flight departed and arrived on time complimentary chauffeur reliable pleasant and polite A380 is a great plane to fly in and off course the unbeatable ICE IFE system with large screen in Business very few airlines in the world can beat Emirates on this one. They also have changed their menu on this route a welcome initiative after goodness knows how many years the previous menu has been served on the route. The mediocre part of the trip: Service quality difference between the multinational cabin crew. Some goes the extra call of duty being very accommodating some gives you the impression that they wish to be elsewhere one stewardess was just unpleasant - I do not need to justify my second request for a burger as the serving was minuscule as a mid-flight meal. Mid-flight desert was excellent. Breakfast main sounds appetizing on menu - poached eggs turned up rather disappointing the termed boiled is more appropriate the accompanying Salmon Potato Rosti was soggy rather than crisp. Overall a disappointing plate that is just so far from its description in the menu. Lunch menu prior to arrival on the other hand is excellent. Seared Tuna loin on edamame is a welcome change to the rather boring Arabian meze. Shrimps served with polenta is a welcome option to the permanent features of the menu the plain old steak and Indian inspired dish. Dessert is excellent. Menu on this route still needs to be perfected and I know Emirates can do this judging from quality of meal/wine on board of other route (SYD-DXB).

DXB - Istanbul - DXB Y class. Gold member with EK regular flights mainly Long haul in J class this was a business trip. Both flights full to the ceiling both flights late by one hour staff obviously over stretched but in no hurry and not one I ever saw smile. Entertainment would have been good as usual with EK except the ear phones I had and changed twice were useless due to the engine noise and two men talking behind me so could hear nothing. Staff service as mentioned massive difference from J class really is a case of get them in and get them out. No call bell answered ever actually looked at me and walked off - never again Y class EK. For 1000 USD$ for a supposed 4 hour flight - crazy.

Flew LHR to MEL in business class. Trip I take 3-4 times per year on EK (both economy and business). Over a 12 month period Emirates scores very high on the overall product and their planes are new and very comfortable. i write this review because the last flight was plagued by uninterested cabin crew menu that never changes lack of non alcoholic beverages to match wine/champagne list (unlike Etihad and Qatar) food that was poorly reheated (business class) bread selection (again unchanged but truly awful in taste and texture) and lacked freshness and flavour.
