"lounge at Oslo is pretty average"
S Beers (United Kingdom)
As a Qatar Airways business lounge this handling agent lounge at Oslo is pretty average. Food is very basic, cold snacks / sandwiches, nothing out of the ordinary, probably the most basic of any lounge I have been in. WIFI is good. It's a shared lounge with pay to use customers. There is a segregated area behind the reception desk for business class customers. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing to get excited about either. Fair old walk to the departure gate (and you need to pass through passport control, which can get pretty busy) so leave plenty of time.

"Indian-style food looked unappetizing"
R Sanyal (United States)
The international terminal has a lounge that is used by all airlines. It is well-signposted and is reached up a flight of stairs or an elevator after clearing security. With only one flight scheduled in the next five hours, there were only a few patrons. A selection of mostly Indian spirits were available at the bar, served by an attendant. TV screens showed a National Geographic animal program. Cold soft drinks, water, and beer were available. Nearly all of the food were Indian-style and looked unappetizing. One computer available for use, free wifi - decent speed. A collection of newspapers and trade magazines. Very comfortable couches to rest. Good place to relax before a flight. There is a dedicated restroom, including shower facilities, for the patrons and from the balcony one can look down at the departure concourse -- at that hour it was empty save for a couple of armed soldiers patrolling. Overall, it is a basic, serves-the-purpose lounge.

"full but had sufficient seats"
11 reviews J Choo (Singapore)
The Al Maha Transit Lounge was full but had sufficient seats available when I was there. There were two types of seats to choose from; armchair seats with low tables and those for dining cafeteria style. There were plenty of staff on hand to ensure that plates and glasses are quickly cleared and the tables cleaned. The food was delicious, fresh and there is a decent variety of choices from soups, salads, hummus, breads, sandwiches, desserts and a coffee machine. There was a chef on hand who replenished the food regularly which is nice. The toilets were packed so for those wishing to have a shower, they might have to wait for sometime.

"DNATA Lounge is very nice"
3 reviews Kaloyan Bozhilov (Bulgaria)
Qatar Airways use the DNATA Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport which is very nice, it has very nice showers, it features a reading area, a big selection of food choices. The lounge is not big, which is good. The WiFi connection was perfect. It is a little bit far away from the gates.

"best lounge I have been to"
3 reviews Kaloyan Bozhilov (Bulgaria)
The Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge in Doha is the best lounge I have been to. There are two restaurants and couple bars, a cigar lounge, a business conference area and wide choice of soft and alcoholic drinks. The people that work there were extremely friendly and nice.

"temporary lounge at Changi Airport"
Dave Bond (Australia)
✅ Verified Review | I recently flew from Singapore to Doha and was disappointed that Qatar Airways used a temporary lounge at Changi Airport shared by other airlines. The airline made no apology whilst checking in that I was going to experience a rubbish lounge in what is one of the worlds finest airports. Having a good home base is one thing but the other end of the journey is just as important

"it's ok for half an hour"
Michael Davies (United Kingdom)
Qatar Airways used the shared "Escape Lounge". Its quite small, just a room without any views. I went there at breakfast time and you could order bacon or sausage breakfast rolls. Otherwise, the usual fare for self service. Its ok for half an hour - but its not the most exciting lounge I've visited. The staff were very friendly however and they came up to me personally to say that my flight was boarding rather than making a tannoy announcement. I would probably not pay the £25 fee for non business class users as I don't think it would be value for money.

"food of a very high standard"
Marc Coleman (Hong Kong)
The Qatar Airways lounge was pretty empty on both visits, food was of a very high standard along with excellent showers. Plenty of space to relax. Only issue was very slow internet, as it is free across the airport. Plenty of staff around to assist you. Very easy access from main concourse.

"simple food offering"
B Smith (Qatar)
If you're a oneworld frequent flyer (Emerald or Sapphire) you don't use the main Qatar Airways lounges for passengers flying in first or business, but the frequent flyer lounges called First and Business. As a top tier card holder I get to use the First lounge. There's a very simple food offering, cold pasta, salad, slices of cake and wine, tho if you ask they'll get a glass of champagne for you! Otherwise there's not much going on there. The lounge is located under a giant electronic advertising hoarding with flashing coloured lights constantly changing the ambience in the room. With my Qatar Platinum (emerald) card I can use the Cathay First Class lounge in Hong Kong or the BA Emerald lounge at LHR both with excellent food and drink options. In contrast lounges for frequent flyers in Doha are disappointing.

"the best lounge I have visited "
13 reviews Albert Wong (China)
This is probably the best airline lounge I have visited - a big WOW to it as compared with most other lounges, and it is not a first class lounge. But food is served as in First class lounge with table setting and main course served with wine, and I note that they had Amarone or Reserve de la Comtesse. Indeed there are several eateries within the huge lounge. On entry there is a pool that is probably larger than most other lounges. It is great to relax here over a midnight or later flight, as it is tranquil and spacious. No other business class lounge can match it!
