LHR-DOH-BKK, both A330. LHR-DOH, extremely full flight. Check in was easy, food was good,
flight was on time. DOH-BKK flight pretty empty, so we could change our seats and spread out.

LHR-DOH-BKK. Check in at Heathrow unimpressive - terrible desk and indifferent staff, the
Flight to DOH was fine, excellent food, IFE extensive, seat ok in upright position, but not
fully flat with a small bump in the seat. Business lounge in Doha is spacious with interesting
and varied snacks- stayed there over 3 hours, could do with more computers for those with no
laptop, about 5 PCs and slow. B777 service (DOH to BKK) was 5 star standard, FA addressed us
by name, service personal and speedy. The flat bed seats were truly flat, I was on window seat
and it was easy to get past neighbouring seat, had a good sleep. Overall cabin very spacious,
meals and drinks good. This was in contrast to my return flights which showed inconsistency in
service on the airline.

Jakarta - London return. The interiors on all sectors were well-maintained and seats
comfortable. IFE is good although not all features worked. The live satellite TV didn't
function on any of the 4 sectors. Meals plentiful and most were very tasty although there was
some inconsistency between the 4 sectors with regard to drinks service. On the first sector,
bizarrely, no drinks at all were offered with the meal other than the tepid water on the tray.
Apart from that, the service was efficient and the crews were polite and friendly. The only
exception was on the LHR-DOH sector; the flight was full, the crew struggled to cope, there
were very few smiles and it took 2 reminders and a 40 minute wait to get a second glass of
wine. The ticket price was about 30% cheaper than other major carriers and I think it was
excellent value for money. Doha airport is quite a pleasant place to hang out for a couple of
hours between flights. I'd certainly choose Qatar again.

DOH-BOM Business class on A340-600. Check-in from the premium terminal was a five star
experience, lounge a wonderful place . Duty free selection is limited. Inflight service was
equally good, hot/cold towel upon boarding, sweets and welcome drink. Orders for post take off
drinks and menu handed out. Food selection good with an Indian touch. Drinks were flowing with
a bowl of warm nuts. Cabin crew good as well. Overall an enjoyable experience.

CDG-DOH-HKG. Service was perfect, food good and plentiful. Not so many airlines would serve
food twice on a 6-7 hours flight these days. Doha airport is a pleasant place to transit. The
only negative point was the boarding procedure at CDG which was a real mess.

DAC-DOH-ARN return Business class. Dhaka-Doha flight is always a nightmare whatever class you
fly in, but that is not the airlines fault. Passengers unruly, dont lock or flush the toilets
etc. Food on this journey is awful and not plentiful, food with a Bangladeshi touch. Staff on
this leg of the journey not too friendly. Doha-Stockholm flight is a breeze, nice Business
class saloon, good service. The food is okay, not five star, but I dont know if five star food
is possible on an aircraft. Good selection of wine, wonderful Champagne (though you are not
offered Champagne or wine on the Dhaka-Doha flight). Aggressive check in staff at Stockholm
airport. Good airline, but room for improvements.

Madrid-Bahrain and Dubai to Madrid. Simple and quick check-in at quiet terminal 1 at Madrid
Barajas. Qatar offer sweets and a hand wipe, followed by a menu with a choice of main course.
Drinks trolley, hot towel, followed by lunch with wine. IFE system with hundreds of channels
that worked, on what is obviously a new A330-300. A sandwich prior to arrival into Doha and
then - chaos. Maybe 1000 people in 2 lines waiting to get through 2 security lines. The
airport cannot handle the workload imposed upon it by Qatar Airways. There are no jetbridges,
transport to and from aircraft is all done by bus.

MEL-DOH-LHR Business class. MEL-DOH onnew B777-200LR simply perfect; 180 degree beds were
extremely comfortable, FAs very attentive, food and drink superb; and the goodie bags a nice
touch. DOH-LHR on an A340-600 was nowhere near that of the previous flight - whilst the
service was again good, I got the impression that Business Class pax were a little left out,
because a very large amount FAs attention went to First Class - to the detriment of service to
Business class. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable journey. It was, however, another side to
the story with regard to ground staff at Doha's Premium Terminal : when boarding commenced for
the DOH-LHR leg, there was only one gate open, and this gate served both this flight and
another flight to Paris - in the confusion of it all, some Heathrow-bound pax very nearly got
on to a transfer bus for the Paris flight and vice versa. Overall though, but for the
confusion in Doha, it was a very pleasant experience - the five-star rating is fully
justified.

ARN-DOH-BKK return, A319/B777ER and B777ER/A320. Down to Doha the a319 felt small - I am
rather tall (193) with long legs and after problems with the seat in frpnt being fully
reclined, I got a new seat at emergency exit for rest of trip. Seats in the A320 better with
no problems, with legspace as well as in B777ER. Generally no choice of menu after a few of
rows been served. Slow meticulous service, but good when you got it. Their online checkin is a
joke, all preseated at random with no choice (36 hours before start), my 12 year old son was
seated alone five rows away, but we fixed that with help of nice fellow passenger. Doha will
be better with new airport without the bus transfers.

LHR-BKK return. A340-600 LHR/DOH was stunning. Seats comfortable, food and wine fantastic
and crew charming. Very quick and easy transfer in Doha (enjoyed a shower in the Premium
Terminal) before boarding B777-300 to BKK. This flight was every bit as good as the one that
had gone before it. Boarding for return flight was very disorganised. Business Class
passengers called to board first, and then asked to wait to one side whilst Economy passengers
boarded. Once onboard staff seemed stressed and disorganised - it was 2 hours into the flight
before breakfast was served. But things then settled down. 777 used on this sector was very
comfortable. Last sector from DOH to LHR (on A330-300) was slightly disappointing. Food
quality nowhere near as good as on other flights (main course served cold and had to be sent
back) and crew on this flight nowhere near as friendly as on the 3 previous sectors.
Overall, very impressed. Just one general observation - why the inconsistent seating
arrangements between aircraft?

BKK-LHR return via Doha. From hot or cold face towels to the pyjamas, faultless service and
excellent food, the best business class I've flown. The cabin on the B777 is the most spacious
I've flown also, and beautifully laid out. This, combined with very good value for money,
makes Qatar Airways difficult to fault.

LGW-DOH-BKK return. The lap of luxury. By far the best in class I have ever used. From check-
in to landing every detail is seamlessly handled quietly and efficiently. The seating is
luxurious for long haul and the food is simply the best I have ever had in the air. Qatar have
earned their 5 stars and have certainly won me over.

LHR to MEL via Doha. From Check in at Gatwick through to arrival at Melbourne the service was
outstanding. The eat on demand was good (food might have been hotter, very minor detail).
Aircraft comfort excellent. Layover premium terminal was good (would have preferred snacks
available for collection - they were available on request). Baggage delivery was great (albeit
that my luggage arrived damaged and was told that the damage was minor so as not to even merit
a report being made (Global Handling Services in Heathrow)). It is difficult to fault this
quality of service.

FRA-DOH-KUL-DOH-GVA. Doha to Geneva an A319-133LR with 3x3 seating (25 rows) in Economy Class
- not suitable for 7.5 hour flight with only two toilets in the Economy Class and a poor
entertainment system. FRA-DOH I chose during the web check-in a seat in the first row of
Economy but in the airport I had to argue with staff who tried to move me from this seat and
provide a less comfortable one.
