LHR-DOH-BKK and back. Plenty of legroom, excellent entertainment, friendly and helpful cabin
crew. All in all a great experience. Airbus was a bit roomier than the Boeing but both were
excellent!

LHR-DOH-DXB economy, excellent service better seats then Virgin Atlantic and BA. Excellent
entertainment. Only issue is Doha Airport - cramped and ancient but new airport is being built
so hopefully better access from aircraft to terminal.

DXB-DOH-CAI and back : found things a little inconsistent. On the way out both planes were
half empty which was great. On the way back, flight from Cairo to Doha was full and an old
A330 with poor legroom, entertainment controls were awkwardly located. The connecting flight
Doha to Dubai was a new looking 777 with fancy interior and big seats - the sort of plane you
would expect to go from Doha to the US or similar. Definitely value for money though.

Colombo- Doha-JFK. Only bad experience is the frequency of food served. Had more than 8 hours
between meals and very hungry. Snacks provided when requested and were only kind of cookies.
All other facilities and services were best quality.

Manchester - Hong Kong return Business Class. All flights to time and cabin services excellent
and attentive. FAs addressed me by name which is a nice touch. Menus could do with changing as
meal choices seemed to have been unchanged for some considerable time - frequent flyers rarely
need to consult the menus. It would be nice to have snacks available on demand as there are
often considerable gaps between meals. One problem when boarding takes place at the front
doors is that aisle seat passengers have to watch out to avoid being hit with shoulder bags of
other passengers passing though the business section. A good tip is to delay boarding until
after economy passengers are in their seats. This is not a problem at Doha where separate
doors are used or where the entrance is between the two classes.

I have just completed a return visit from LHR via Doha to JNB. Inflight service - food was
good, beverage service excellent, cabin crew superb, inflight communications good (I would
have enjoyed more information from the cockpit. Aircraft slightly tatty. All in all so far an
excellent service that merits a 5 star standing. My complaint - checking-in procedure.
Boarding Cards - On my outward flights (booked in at airport) all boarding cards were issued
(3 travellers together) and honoured and seated together. On my return flight (booked in
online) the handling agent at JNB told us that the on-line boarding cards were not valid and
issued us with new boarding cards - these had different seat allocations from the confirmed
seats we were issued some four hours earlier. The party was still seated together. We did not
check these and were to our horror seated elsewhere. I had a previous DVT passenger in our
party - hence the requirement for the seat "requirement". This complaint while dealt with
courteously by the cabin crew was not remedied so on we went to Doha with printed boarding
cards for our onward flight - boarding cards in hand for our second leg. On checking in at
Doha we were told that our printed boarding cards were not valid. Change in aircraft - we were
due to sit in row 43 but there were only 41 rows on the aircraft. Our party was split and the
party member with the DVT issue was seated in the middle of the centre isle. This matter was
brought to the attention of the ground staff at Doha who attempted to resolve it. They
reprinted the JNB issued boarding cards with the new ones. One would think that a replacement
aircraft would be known to the airline at least 18 hours prior to departure or at the very
latest 8 hours prior to the second leg. We were advised on landing to use the on-line booking-
in facility. I would recommend that passengers refrain from this facility until they sort out the problems.

Manchester-Doha-Bangkok and back. Manchester to Doha flight seats fine even for somebody my
height, although I’d hate to be in the window seat behind due to the large cube under the seat
in front blocking any legroom. Can’t really get excited about any airline food but have to sat
Qatar is better than others, plenty of drinks available from helpful flight attendants.
Inflight entertainment system is fine with a good choice of movies and music. Doha to Bangkok
on a 777 which looked quite new - more roomy that the A330 - only complaint in-flight
entertainment screen not working (same problem on return flight which had widescreen sets it
seems to be a regular problem on pull up sets in the exit row). I can recommend Qatar ahead
of other airlines on this route, but I wish they’d go back to their evening departure time.

I have problems with my legs, but I found economy class legroom was ideal, and I spent the
trip from Manchester to Saigon in comfort. The staff were most helpful, polite and smiling.
The food was excellent, so was drinks service. At 24 stones in weight, I found the seat
comfortable, and an extension to my seatbelt was provided.

JFK-DOH-COK. Boeing 777 aircraft was excellent, good food, good choices of entertainment. They
had good food too. however, they ran out of the chicken option when they were not even halfway
through the cabin. They offer plenty of free drinks, sandwiches, snacks and ice cream
throughout the flight. DOH-COK A321 didn't have personal IFE screens, just overhead screens
which were showing some malyalam/hindi movies, with subtitles. Dinner was good and I was fine
with an IPOD and PSP throughout the flight between DOH-COK. Staff were friendly on both legs
and helpful. Overall, I would say despite the highly crowded cabin, the staff made it a
pleasant travel experience.

BKK-LHR/LGW-BKK and BKK-CDG/LGW-BKK. I got to fly a variety of aircraft during these two trips
(A330-200/A330-300/A340/B777). All flights in business. I agree with what many others have
said before when commenting on the older business class seats that do not turn into a flat
bed. They are comfortable to sit in, but not the best when you want to sleep. However, the
business cabin in the new 777 is outstanding. Seats are very comfy to sit in as well as to
sleep in. The cabin with only 6 abreast (2-2-2) feels extremely spacious. Food onboard was
outstanding on each sector. Fresh berries to go along with your pancakes for breakfast went
down a treat. Equally impressive were some of the dinners. Drinks flowing frequently and
generous at all times. I enjoyed breaking my journeys in Doha. I had one connection of more
than 4 hours which was a bit too long for my taste. All the others were within 60-90 minutes.
No queues whatsoever at the premium terminal for security check or boarding. The business
lounge is amazing. All crew members I encountered were friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed
to care about their passengers. Check-in in BKK slow and not friendly. Lounge in LGW pathetic
(they use the Servisair lounge which is very old and in desperate need of a revamp. Staff
almost hostile).

LHR-DOH-BKK. Excellent flight and attentive cabin staff. LHR-DOH A330 Seats were not lie flat
but at angled - only fault is the lounge at Heathrow, Qatar use Cathay Pacific lounge and it
is very tired. Premium terminal at Doha is excellent. Doh-BKK 777 aircraft with proper lie
flat seats, IFE excellent and staff vry attentive and very professional.

We went to Dubai with 2 kids and had a bad experience. Onward flight to Doha short staffed,
meals served late and rubbish not picked up. No preference to families with children. Doha
airport a mess. Had a connecting flight in an hour, transit queue was chaos. Return flight -
bassinette promised but we were given centre seats. My wife spent the journey with a kid in
her arms and me with the other one.

Heathrow to Dar-es-salaam return. We were very pleased with the service. Great staff,
entertainment excellent, meals excellent, cabin space very good, clean aircraft and over all
very courteous staff in the air and at Doha airport. We had an hour between planes and had to
go thru security and a 5 hour layover on our flight back - considering number of passengers
and planes arriving, the security process was fast. We found meals at DOH airport were very
expensive - $26 us dollars for fish & chips meal, 3 dollars for bottled water and 8 dollars
for 2 coffees was rather expensive. Duty free shopping was also good.

MAN-DOH-SIN return. First time on Qatar Airways. Checked in online 24 hours before (could not
check in DOH-SIN sector until 36 hours before departure from DOH) but at Manchester airport
bag drop queue had 5 or 6, business has 1 so was directed to an empty econ desk where the
check-in agent tore up our boarding passes and re-checked us in so had to produce original cc
card and FF cards. He then forgot to put priority tags on one bag so it came out with rest of
baggage at SIN. Took 15 minutes - what's the point of checking-in online? Onboard the cabin
attendants on all sectors were friendly and very efficient. I would have liked to see a dinner
on the MAN-DOH sector instead of an indulgence as the menu indicated. This was similar to a
light lunch. What was not acceptable given the cost of business tickets is running out of one
of the 3 choices. IFE screens were large but the choice of films listed not all available on
the A330-300. For some reason the system was started about 15 minutes into the flight on all
sectors. DOH-SIN was brilliant with flat beds and pj's provided meaning a good nights sleep
before being awakened for breakfast.
