LGW-DOH-MEL Business class. FAs extremely attentive and address you personally; food is
excellent and drinks always available. IFE is super; the wash bag and pyjamas (DOH-MEL)
provided are good and the recline seats, especially on the Boeing 777, make for a very
comfortable sleep. Premium Terminal at Doha is stunning: it is very spacious, staff are
attentive, a brilliant range of food and drink, and staff members come to collect you when
your flight is ready to board.

LGW-DOH-BKK return. FA s very pleasant, seats ample for us. Food best I have had on economy.
Only disappointment was at Doha, we had 1 hr 15 change over planes which was fine because we
landed early. On the way back had 2 hr 30 but we were early again so more like 3 hours and
the airport is dire. Didn't eat the food there, and give the toilets a miss if you can too.

LHR-DOH-BKK return. Check in at Heathrow was reasonably painless and lounge was fine.
Service from FAs exceptional, they use your name to address you and I found they were
attentive without being overbearing. Food excellent on both legs, and there were proper lie-
flat seats on the DOH-BKK route (overnight section on my route). IFE excellent (although
mildly annoying to get half way through a film, then not have the same film available on the
second leg!) and the food was superb. Also the pyjamas were a nice touch, and the wash-bags
provided were of good quality. Premium Lounge in Doha is fantastic (just make sure you get off
the bus at the second stop!), massive, great selection of food and drink and they will come
and find you personally (if it's not too busy) when it's time to check in for your onward
flight. Would definitely travel Qatar again.

LGW-DOH-BOM-DOH-LHR. Time changed with no notification, rather uninteresting meal and snack on
LGW-Doha leg. On the return our IFE broke down for the best part of the journey - no ones
fault and they did try their best to rectify the problem. Our seats were allocated but check
in moved us despite the plane not being full. The longest hauls were the worse planes, from
DOH-BOM planes had touchscreen IFE, great food and more comfort.

CGK-SIN, B777-200LR. On check-in I was not given the seat which I chose during online purchase
due to the aircraft type change. Avoided this on the return flight from SIN-CGK by checking in
online. Both flights were full which caused the FAs to seem nervous and cranky. No smiles even
when passenger were boarding, not to mention when they distributed the food. Economy seat
pitch was OK, but not very wide, though the reclining is very good for an economy seat. On
return flight, due to aircraft type change from B777-300ER to B777-200LR, many passengers,
including me, got a free upgrade to Business class. But only the seating, not the service or
the food. I have to admit that the new lie flat business class is very comfortable with
massage.

My wife and I flew to Goa from Heathrow, It was the first time that we had travelled without
using the usual Thomas Cook/Monarch package and what a difference, the staff were always on
hand, helpful and cheery the service was excellent. Inflight entertainment and refreshments
of an extremely high standard, plenty of inflight information from flight crew. We stopped in
Doha and the transfer was done without fuss. The return flight was every bit as good.

LGW-DOH-TRV-DOH-LHR all flights operated on time and aircraft spotless and comfortable. The
cabin crews were diligent and smiling. One thing I have noticed is the reduction in the food
service over the last couple of years. On the longer flights two meals have become one meal
and a snack and the IFE choices aren't as good as they used to be either.

MAN-DOH-HKG return. Bargain fare of £345 return. Efficient, polite ground staff. All flights
on time. Clean, modern fleet of A330s. Window seats have the IFE box underneath, which reduces
under-seat space by about 30%, and may not be an option for tall pax (I'm 181cm in shoes but I
was comfortable). Good announcements from flight deck, especially during long periods of
turbulence. Adequate seat pitch otherwise, and very comfortable seats. Superb choice of IFE.
Food was the best I've ever eaten on a flight, and better than some restaurants. Outstanding
multi-national FAs; good interaction with pax, several languages spoken, and dealt well with
an in-flight medical emergency on one flight. Blankets, headsets and amenity kits already on
seats upon boarding. Hand towels offered at mealtimes. The requested Asian Vegetarian meal was
provided. Simply the best flights I have ever taken, and I intend to fly with QA again soon.

JFK-DOH-BKK return in Business. B777's with lie-flat seats on all sectors. AVOD fantastic.
Service quite attentive. Food excellent and option to eat when you want is welcome. Check in
quick and efficient. The fast track security passes for BKK were welcome. The lounge at JFK
not so great. In BKK given a pass for any TG lounge, quite good. The premium terminal at Doha
is quite nice, but they should be better about telling premium transfer pax that it is the
second stop on the bus. Using buses at Doha is really a pain. I had free stopover arrangements
at DOH on the return, but it was not all its cracked up to be. Was required to return to the
airport at 5AM for an 8AM flight. Which meant I had 2+ hours to sit in the premium terminal
doing nothing when I could have been at the hotel sleeping. Still, in the air the product is
second to none and the price was less than everyone else by a lot.

Excellent service, very nice staff and a very good value for money. I flew from Kansai
(Japan) to Algeria and it was excellent.

Ground staff and cabin crew very friendly and helpful. However, prior to boarding flight Doha
to Houston we felt bullied by security personnel at check-in - very abrupt and somewhat petty
to the amusement and astonishment of even American citizens. The cabin crew more than made up
for our wounded egos onboard the long flight to Houston with genuine care and empath. Food
also somewhat suspect towards end of long flight - we had the choice of the bottom of the
barrel in seats 34 and 35. On our return we need to spend 7 hours in transit at Doha airport
and that seems a daunting prospect.

LHR-DOH-BKK and back. Plenty of legroom, excellent entertainment, friendly and helpful cabin
crew. All in all a great experience. Airbus was a bit roomier than the Boeing but both were
excellent!

LHR-DOH-DXB economy, excellent service better seats then Virgin Atlantic and BA. Excellent
entertainment. Only issue is Doha Airport - cramped and ancient but new airport is being built
so hopefully better access from aircraft to terminal.
