MAN-DOH-HKG return. Upgraded DOH-HKG on points. Service and food excellent in both classes.
The same crew was on the return from HKG as took me out and, as I travelled out J class, there
was consternation when I turned right into economy on the return flight. FA went to great pains
to ensure that I hadn't been seated in the wrong section. The service is beyond expectation
and needs to be experienced.

Really good comfort and service on board even if with economic class - best economy class for
Qatar Airways is deserved. Good quality and quality of meal. Cabin crew is nice. Comfort on
seat is good, lots of service on personal TV screen and place for legs is good for an economic
class. Good Doha port of call. Not bad things to say.

FRA-DOH-DXB return. I chose this airline because of its good reputation so my expectations
were quite high. Staff at check-in in FRA lethargic. Fortunately the crews onboard all my
flights was very attentive - great service. Aircraft on all legs very clean and seemed to be
quite new - my IFE on FRA-DOH and DOH-FRA did not work. Food and presentation was ok but
nothing special.

LHR-DOH-AUH on Y. Checked in online so luggage drop was quick at LHR, but Heathrow T3 at early
morning was dissapointing since almost everything was closed. A330 was clean. The cabin
service was ok, nothing exceptional. The food was below par this time. Had a 2 hour connection
in DOH, and onto AUH on an A320 -, a much better service on this nearly empty flight. Friendly
crew and arrived ahead of schedule in AUH. Overall, a good service but not the QR service that
I have now come to expect.

MNL-DOH-JFK return Business Class. B777's on all 4 legs which had the perfectly comfortable
flat seats. I think I slept a total of 10 hours each way. Food and drink amazing - the
widest choices I've seen per meal. Aircraft all immaculately kept. Premium toiletries and
amenity kits. Sleep shirts (no pants) were provided, as well as noise-canceling headphones.
AVOD was amazing, with literally hundreds of choices. The particularly good thing with the
entertainment was that it was available the moment you board. No need to wait till after
takeoff. Inflight staff were excellent, courteous and very sincere. Premium terminal in Doha
quite impressive, although the shower rooms do not contain their own toilets and sinks -
rather strange to be grooming oneself outside. Food and service in the premium terminal were
excellent. Booking agents in Manila were a nightmare though - rude and arrogant. Because of
them, I only gave my experience an 8.

CPT-DOH-ATH A330, having purchased a very good value business class ticket. Check in a CPT
was straightforward. The first leg of the flight to JNB was fine, a snack was given and
served promptly after take off. There was a short stop in Joburg where the cabin filled up.
The service was good, and food was excellent. Only gripe was being asked to move seats due to
a couple not being able to sit together. Premium Lounge in Doha is excellent, spacious and
quiet. DOH-ATH was good, food excellent, only downside was an A320 on this 4 hr sector and
the cabin felt cramped. Baggage reclaim at ATH was quick was off the aircraft and out of the
airport in 20mins.

Manchester-Hong Kong return Business Class. Service excellent each way, staff addressed me by
name but got confused as to first and surnames. Food and wines exceptional. Wide selection of
on demand movies and music. One minor complaint is that the champagne is never properly
chilled. The premium terminal at Doha is an oasis and a chance to unwind between flights.

Berlin-BKK return. Service onboard was good. Although one or 2 FAs showed their attitude with
the passengers, I noticed that FAs of eastern Asian origins performed their duties better and
professionally. Y class food was good, the presentation too. They should consider serving warm
rolls. IFE was better on B777 than A330, though all planes in good condition. Strangely, on
DOH-BBK sector the moisturizer was missing in the toilet. QR should consider using bigger
planes with IFE serving Berlin-DOH sector instead of A320, as the flight was longer than 5
hours. Hope QR will keep up the good work/polish up on some flaws to retain their 5 stars image.

IAD-DOH-CMB on Economy. Check-in at IAD was a breeze and the flight to DOH was 60% full. The
cabin staff were curt and efficient, but not friendly. Drinks service was part of the dinner
service and a second round not on offer. The dinner itself was not what I would expect from a
5 star airline. DOH-CMB leg was nothing special. On the return, check-in at CMB was a breeze
and CMB-DOH flight fantastic. Good food and chirpy crew. The same goes for the DOH-IAD leg-
great food and fantastic service. Oryx inflight entertainment is good. The security procedures
at DOH airport was outrageous.
