I travelled to Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur from LHR. Flights were on A380 and B737's. Seats on A380 hard
after a couple of hours but that's what you get flying economy. Food was good, lots of drinks rounds, cabin
staff were efficient if a little hurried to get the service completed, the entertainment system very good.
On our return journey we checked in at Langkawi and found out later our flight from Kuala Lumpur was
delayed 6.5 hours (later changed to 9.5) - MAS did not tell us this at check in, it was only by speaking to
others that we knew what to do at KUL. No mention of any delays during the flight and there was no one at
KUL to help. Eventually found the transfer counter to be told we would be staying at a hotel and had a meal
voucher to get something from Burger King. At no time was there any representatives from MAS to guide us.
We did take off 10.5 hours late. I will travel with other carriers in the future.

KUL-MNL in economy. Aircraft interior new and squeaky clean, red-and-purple leather seats and mood lighting
reminiscent of 1930s glamour. In-seat personal entertainment screens. Crew very friendly and attentive,
especially the older ones. Departure on schedule, arrival ahead of schedule. Plenty of drink rounds. Meals a
bit on the 'snack' side.

Just arrived back to the UK from Bangkok. Economy. Took MH from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur, then from KUL
to Heathrow. Bangkok flight was an older plane but only on board for 1.5 hrs. A bit cramped but received a
good meal. KUL to LHR was a 13hr flight on the A380. Not a regular flyer but stunning plane. Found the seats
comfortable with lots of room. Toilets clean. Received 2 meals (beginning and end), OK for flight meal. Staff
friendly, older than usual, so perhaps more experienced. Good choice of entertainment and offered plenty of
drinks. For the price this would be a good option for many travellers. Flights on time.

Upstairs on A380, LHR to KUL return was excellent, very quiet flights both ways, staff excellent, plane very
clean, seating a bit firm but pretty good, lots of legroom. Food good and very plentiful. No complaints from
us, definitely use Malaysia Airlines for future flights.

Australia from Heathrow via KUL to Sydney and back from Adelaide. Wonderful experience with obliging staff,
clean, comfortable aircraft in general, although the Boeing from KUL to Sydney was somewhat older than the
Airbuses on the other flights and was not so comfortable. Airbuses were superb. Inflight entertainment aimed
at Americans with their particular taste in films/comedy. Hardly my taste! Overall, a great experience and
MAS would be my 1st choice again.

KUL to Siem Reap return. Outward bound flight was in an older style 737-800 which I thought quite
comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, an excellent Malaysian roti and curry! Friendly service and flight on
time. Coming back I was not comfortable in the new style 737-800, which looks very chic but gives less
legroom and a painfully hard and narrow seat. The cabin crew told me they were one crew short, but this
seemed to spur them on and they were brisk and busy, but very cheerful. On the whole, a pleasant trip.

My 11.35pm flight to Narita was cancelled without explanation. The customer service reps passed out free dinner
coupons but all restaurants were closed or serving only beverages with exception of Burger King. They didn't want to
rebook my flights for following day until I insisted. They put us up in hotel but didn't inform us that it was 45
minutes to retrieve luggage, 45 minute bus ride to hotel and hour long wait at hotel to check in. The following day
the airline did not do the 8:30pm pickup at hotel as promised nor did they call hotel to advise this. I had to grab a
cab at last minute.

PER-KUL A330-330. Had the whole row to myself so was able to take a snooze. AVOD average, dinner average. Lounge at
Perth airport disappointing, no toilets, you have to go out into the terminal. KUL-LHR A380. Empty seat next to me. No
amenities pack. AVOD screen nice and large but little I wanted to watch. Staff not outstanding but nothing
particularly wrong. Seat not too bad but person reclining in front forces me to also recline my seat. Lounge in KUL
quite good. LHR-KUL A380. Seat next to me occupied. As this was a day time flight I asked the flight attendant where
the in seat laptop power was (I have never bothered to use it before, the lights were off and couldn't find it). She
told me there was none! I told her that their web site said there was on the A380 in economy and she again told me
there was none. I expressed surprise again and then she must have asked a colleague because she came back, apologized
and showed me where it was. Food average. Difficult to get supplies of water, and they take the headsets back about
an hour before landing! I probably won't choose MAS again, economy is really quite average.

KUL-KCH during Chinese New Year. Check-in was quick with assistance for the luggage. The receptionist at
the Domestic Golden Lounge addressed proficiently. Luncheon selection limited to Asian dishes with half
already finished without being cleared away. Visible stains on the wall showed the lounges age. Boarding,
albeit organised, was late which resulted in a late departure with no apology. Aircraft was the new B737. The
hard headrest truly ruined the comfort of the seat. One would have to sit and look slightly to the left or right
to achieve proper cushioning for ones head. Pre-departure beverages were served with tissues substituting
the coasters. No menu booklet though the booked low-fat meal was honoured, definitely a best dish. A drink
round was made but was poured from a bottle rather than a pitcher. Overhead button had to be pressed twice
just to have the meal tray removed. The entertainment system was characterless. Also, no headphones
supplied. Cabin crew were professional, addressed passengers by name although service felt rushed and a
soft grin could have been much appreciated. They made no effort to attend to passengers after meal service.
The aforementioned little things let the airlines services come asunder.

IST-KUL-PER return. Four flights and the only one not excellent was the outward bound flight from Istanbul to
KL. It was as bad as last year. Check-in chaotic, cabin not clean, food below par - even the satay was tough -
cabin crew distant. MAS should do something about its operation from Istanbul or lose customers. My seat
neighbour said she would not fly back with them. The 777-200 on IST-KUL route is noisy, but earplugs help. I
have got used to the seat and can sleep reasonably well in it. I got a new A330-300 on both my KUL/PER
flights and thought it very comfortable. The large screen in the back of the seat is not always easy to view,
though, and cannot be adjusted. I thought the choice of films on all flights was excellent. The food was also
generally good. The king prawn and salsa starter served on one flight was one of the nicest things I've eaten
on or off the ground. However, when I tried to book the 'chef in the air' option before flying, the MAS website
would not deliver the page.

My wife and myself were initially allocated seats which were nowhere near each other for the flight from KL to
London. MH002, 2 Mar 13. The check-in clerk said that nothing could be done about this. Fortunately the
lady at the help desk was able to resolve the problem. Why are people with the same surname who book at
the same time not seated together? On the outward journey MH003 and MH752, 16 Feb 13, one item of
luggage did not arrive at Hanoi airport at the same time as us. It was brought to our hotel several hours
later but this inefficiency caused inconvenience for us and for other group members with whom we were
travelling. The aircraft's were clean and generally comfortable and the flights were on time.

We flew LHR to Auckland via Kuala Lumpur and returned Sydney to LHR, again via Kuala Lumpur. All flights
were on time. The A380 on the LHR legs was quiet, but with cramped seating for those in standard economy
seats and the seats themselves had little padding. The AVOD was outstanding, the food plentiful, if stodgy,
with drinks on demand. The other flights were on a 777 and a 747: more comfortable seating but poorer
AVOD. We paid a reasonable price, 10 months ahead of departure, and got value for money. I would not,
though, regard Malaysia as any better than a 4 Star airline.

KUL-AMS and return. Old aircrafts on both flights, disinterested crew with an attitude, everyone
disappeared after serving the meals, food inedible!

ADL-KUL-LHR first leg on A330, seats adequate for the length of journey and service good, flight on time. The
next sector was by A380 in the upper deck and the product is certainly superior to the B747 it replaces on
this route. The seats are excellent and afford a good nights sleep, and the screens are large with a good
choice of entertainment. Food was also good and the service levels excellent. This was a free trip using my
Enrich miles and despite MH making this far from easy to arrange everything worked fine.

HKG-KUL-MEL. Pressed the button to seek staff assistance and nobody arrived after 15 minutes. Some staff
seem disinterested. Service seemed better on the longer flight and we witnessed staff taking extra care with
parents and babies (4 babies in the row in front of us). Breakfast was pretty poor as it was just a pie and a
drink with nothing else. The meals weren't that attractive and the popular option ran out even though we
paid extra to sit at the front. The need to pay extra money to choose your seat really wasn't worthwhile. Was
really expecting much more and feel very disappointed.

TPE-KUL-PEN-KUL-TPE in February on a mixed fleet of 737s. All flights very full but on time. Outbound new
738 with PTVs but seat pitch is rather tight. Sat beside 2 screaming children whom a cabin crew went all out
to pacify. Frequent water runs on the 5 hour flight and very prompt response in answering requests. Inbound
on a leased 738 with drop down screens. Crew still friendly but seems tired. Food portions small on both
flights. Malaysia Airlines need to iron out inconsistencies on their aircraft cabin as passengers can't expect
what to get on a flight flown with at least 2 variants of a similar aircraft. Otherwise very good value for
money and crew is always professional and friendly.
