Jakarta-Denpasar return in Business. CGK-DPS B737-300 so not much to report. On return we were
lucky enough to sample the refurbished A330-300 with new Business Class interior, which is
fantastic and putting Garuda on par with latest competition. Ground and onboard service was
excellent, food very good and in Jakarta airport Garuda even arranges a dedicated baggage
conveyor belt for business passengers only, which works very well.

Melbourne to Denpasar via Jakarta on the new A330-200. New aircraft makes the difference,
seats great. The flight crew were excellent, and I could not fault them. The attention that
Garuda is paying to customer satisfaction is noticable. Given the choice, Garuda way exceeds
Jetstar on the route. I hope Garuda use the new aircraft in the Mel-Dps direct service
(Jakarta is not a great transit point).

MEL-CGK-MES. MEL-CGK is a pleasant flight. Good service and in-flight entertainment and good
value for the ticket. Seat pitch is acceptable, comparable to most international airlines. The
addition of a foot rest would be welcomed. The ground services require more improvement. I was
told by the ground crew that I will need to collect my luggage at CGK and to check-in again
for the flight to MES. Waited almost an hour at the baggage collection area and I (with
several other people) didn't see my baggage. When I queried, I was told that they (at their
own discretion) transferred the luggage to my MES flight. The flight from CGK to MES was met
with a significant delay, and the service level is different. I was pleased with their
international services, but not satisfied with their domestic services.

Garuda business class from Melbourne to Jakarta to Denpasar return. The new A330-200 used on
the Melbourne - Jakarta route is excellent and easily compares to SQ and TG business products.
All flights on time and the service, whilst not as polished as SQ, was consistently good and
very friendly. The quality of the food was fine and drinks were served regularly. The Garuda
domestic lounges in both Jakarta and Denpasar are also fine, but the international lounge
could do with an improved bar service. Overall, we were very impressed with Garuda business
product, especially on the international sectors, and would certainly use them on this route
again.

On a recent trip in J class from SIN to JOG, DEN and back to SIN with comfortable two across
seating on all flights, new aircraft, lovely service and consistent on time performance. Only
drawback a grumpy station manager in SIN who found fault with my companion's only empty
passport page for visa on arrival and tried to keep us off the plane. Once we overcame this
hurdle, the trip was flawless. Worth noting the fantastic food in the CGK lounge which makes
the stop over actually an attraction.

SIN-CGK-SIN. We were very lucky customers to be on their new B737-800NG. Service was genuine
and from the heart). IFE addition to the plane is a fantastic bonus, seat is comfy and
spacious enough even for a rather tall man like me at 6'1". Meals can be improved though -
quantity is too small and the presentation lacks quality of those served by SQ or even TG.
Overall, a very good experience indeed.

MEL-CGK-MEL. Economy class on new A330. Departing and arriving on time, great improvement by
Garuda. FA's very attentive, friendly and helpful. IFE is good. Ice cream desserts on MEL-CGK
route is a good touch. Breakfast menu on CGK-MEL route and catering in general needs
improvement. The head-rest is not comfortable, the leg-space is also tight. Would recommend to
upgrade to Business class if you were 6' and over. The re-introduction of direct flight MEL-
CGK is excellent move, hopefully QF will follow to open MEL-CGK flight without the need for transit in SYD.

SIN-CGK. First of all the online booking. Just wonder how a national carrier still doesn't
provide any online booking and online payment for customers. Luckily I'm flying with their new
A330-200. The service is nice, they make a noticeable improvement from the last time I board
Garuda for the same route 8 months ago. The plane is new, hence it's still very nice and cozy.
FA's service is reasonably good. Food served is good, but not especially well. Baggage claim
in CGK required me to wait for about 30 minutes to get my baggage.

CGK-SIN-CGK Economy Class. CGK-SIN using Boeing 737-800, aircraft nice and clean, courteous
and attentive service from flight attendant, breakfast delicious, continuous drink service
offered. SIN-CGK on new A330-200 with the new “nature wing” livery, all seats equipped with
AVOD IFE, inflight service felt more like a 5-star airline, delicious food and excellent
flight attendants.

Jakarta to Batam on B737. Cabin was clean, food was nice Indonesian cuisine, FAs are very
friendly and helpful. No PTVs, but overhead TVs that offered short movies. Seat pitch and
width okay.

Sydney to Denpasar in March, April, July and October this year. We have flown a mix of economy
and business class and we have been very happy with their service. We looked at Jetstar but
you have to pay extra for meals, extra for TV, extra for drinks - this is all standard with
even Garuda economy class.

CGK-BKK in Economy Boeing 737-400. Flight on time, good inflight service. 2 tasty choices
offered for lunch with continuous drink service. Pillow, blanket and headsets for the inflight
music/film were distributed - no inflight magazine. Overall, a good flight experience and
hopefully they will use their new plane (Boeing 737-800 NG or A 330-200) on this route as the
flight is 3.5 hours & it will be good to have AVOD IFE available.

CGK-DPS return over peak holiday period. Apart from older aircraft service felt more like SQ
than Garuda. FAs gave good service and seemed to know what they were doing. Punctuality
excellent on both legs. Tasty hot lunch served and coffee offered afterwards. The FF/business
lounge in DPS has been much improved since last year. Garuda seem to have turned a corner
recently and the decline of recent years is being rectified. Only the old 737-400 used
prevents me giving 10/10.

Singapore to Jakarta. Very old Boeing 737-300 aircraft used. Food not fantastic, flight
attendants' service was satisfactory though. But Garuda is one of the cheapest ways to get a
flight from Singapore to Jakarta, so it's value for money
