Just returned from a London - Melbourne return trip in business Class. Take note Etihad has changed their
Ground Transfer policy to two rides only, which left me to arrange my own ground transfer back to Melbourne
airport and then from London to home. I wouldn't have known this if I hadn't called to confirm my return trip.
The seats in Business, although flatbed are very firm. There is room for your backside and not much more.
Inflight entertainment - shocking. Most movies are already on DVD. The food - not brilliant. The staff on all
legs were brilliant. Would I fly again with Etihad, probably not.

Kuwait - Toronto | Economy Class. I have been flying Etihad since 2009 and one thing that I see consistently
is the dropping service standards. The inflight staff really need to be trained. Even the leg room is
comparatively much lesser. I have flown on smaller aircraft's like 737 and A320 of other airlines which are
much more spacious than the huge B777 Etihad uses for Toronto flights. Even the food quality is far below
the expected level. IFE was good and so was the baggage handling time. Guests would definitely get better
service at same fare or cheaper fares at similar service level as Etihad offers.

(BNE-SIN-BNE). The flight from SIN-BNE was delayed hence we arrived in BNE for almost 1.5 later than
scheduled which was disappointing. Food was average with some meals is not available onboard. Inflight
entertainment was okay although some movies or TV programmes didn't have English subtitles. Cabin crews
were very helpful and attentive.

Abu Dhabi-Bangkok-Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi airport can be pretty busy in peak times, shortage of places to sit
and insufficient information system, but manageable with some effort. Etihad - service to/from Bangkok
quite nice. 3-4-3 Boeing777 seating configuration quite tight, this time the middle seat not occupied, so
mustn't grumble. In seat monitors with AVOD, landscape cameras. Food average but not bad, nice fruit
salad, vegetarian option available. Multinational cabin crew friendly, always happy to re-fill or assist.

CAI-AUH-MEL A330 on 1st leg and A340 on 2nd leg. Both reasonably new aircraft. Very reasonably priced -
$4000AUD for 2 adults and 2 children return. Online check-in fine but no dedicated bag drop counter at Cairo,
and difficult to find 4 seats together for our family. Boarding fine both times, although at Abu Dhabi take off
was delayed for 1hr 15 mins due to air traffic control in Oman - not Etihad's fault. They turned on IFE so we
didn't get too bored. Service was fine and IFE good, although not quite the range of Emirates. Touch screens
and menu navigation excellent. I recommend them as a good 4 star alternative to Emirates and Qatar.

Flight: More than 3 months ago. Saw some of the Etihad reviews online and was a bit worried as I had already booked my flights to Bangkok
but I was really impressed and would definitely recommend them. The service was excellent, from check-in to
cabin crew, all the staff had lovely personalities and seemed to care about their jobs. The flights were fine
and I was able to sleep to Abu Dhabi which is not normally something I can do on flights, although I did have
the window to lean against. The plane was clean, although very busy and the E-box, the entertainment
system is on demand and had some great films. I think they could have done with a few more TV
programmes though. Food was lovely and you were able to choose from a selection of meals. The only thing I
would say is that on all but one of the flights, we seemed to sit there with empty trays for quite a while after
we finished. It got a bit annoying because you just don't want it in front of you. Abu Dhabi airport is modern
and quite nice to transit through. It doesn't have as many facilities as say Singapore or Dubai but it still has
shops and restaurants to enjoy.

My wife and I have used Etihad Airlines twice in the past 2 years and about to travel with them again to go
to Ireland. On both of those flights we found them to be very professional and helpful both cabin and ground
crews. We have flown with quite a number of airlines all long haul and would recommend Etihad to anyone.

Flew Sydney to Abu Dhabi and then on to Manchester. Food absolutely terrible on both legs. Flying back to
Sydney tomorrow and hoping its better. If not will definitely not be flying again.

Abu Dhabi to Sydney - Business class with 2 and 8 year old and husband. Could not be seated together after
numerous phone calls to rectify this problem as it happens every time we travel with Etihad. The seats are
staggered and if the middle seats together are pre-booked online this can not be over-ridden. No one was
willing to swap seats to let the 2 year old sit next to me. No children's meals delivered when pre-ordered.
Flight staff are very apologetic and there is nothing they can do to rectify, Etihad ground staff have a lot to
answer for, they leave everything for the hostess to sort out. Redemption points offered but never showed up
on account.

Travelled economy class from Chicago to Bengaluru return. Special food we requested (Asian veg meal) was
not suitable for children and the airline doesn't offer any vegetarian meals for children. Staff ignored our
request to provide some alternatives so our daughter completed the trip on juice diet. Overall, the airways
didn't seem to care much about children's needs except for on-board entertainment. Food for adults and cabin
service was average or below average in our trip out of USA but both were surprisingly very nice on our return
trip. Leg room and space in general were very restrictive and I am only 5ft 7inches tall. Toilets were plenty
(never waited in the line for their use) and very clean (appeared to be cleaned by the staff periodically).
Generally kept on time departures 9within 20-30 mins) and arrivals were always on or before time. Baggage
handling was good.

Very poor customer service. No customer helpline. Little assistance was provided during a long stay in transit
at Abu Dhabi. My wife traveled from NYC to Bengaluru via Abu Dhabi last week. The flight was significantly
delayed at JFK airport due to a mechanical failure. Consequently, she missed her connecting flight at Abu
Dhabi. She was forced to take the connecting flight to Bangalore 24 hours later. She had to wait for more
than 12 hours after arrival at Abu Dhabi without temporarily being accommodated at the hotel with in the
airport. As it was a mechanical failure, it was the responsibility of the airlines to take care of the passengers
and they failed miserably.

AUH-DUB-AUH Business class return. Business Class Lounge in Abu Dhabi had no seats and was too full, more
comfortable to sit in main seating area in departures lounge. Ordered Non-Lactose Meals both sectors:
First Sector - Informed by crew that Non-Lactose Meal has not been loaded. Couldn't eat anything off menu as crew
has distributed to others so couldn't eat on flight. No service recovery very poor. Return Sector - Crew recognized
that had ordered non-lactose meal, although waited 2 hours after take off for meal to be served. When it arrived
the steak served was raw and inedible. Crew tried to recover service, however, handed me a complaint form instead.
Generally, exceptionally disappointing.
