Abu Dhabi-BKK return Boeing 777. I liked international staff, and inflight entertainment.
Meal is OK. Timely arrival and departure. Abu Dhabi airport - I did not like, gate has been
postponed twice without any info.

LHR-AUH-BKK return. Aircraft very good, nice IFE and food delicious. Leg space is normal,
flights on time and crew was attentive. A positive thing is Abu Dhabi airport - very new and
very stylish. Not the crowded feeling like Dubai.

Flew C Class Bangkok to Geneva via Abu Dhabi. On both sectors the usual lie-flat narrow seats.
IFE very good. Food is above average. Toilets were kept ok but not perfect. Crew on the first
leg were great - On the second leg they were absent and slightly lost. I think they could
start giving better bedding and maybe some pyjamas as most airlines do in C Class on this
stretch. An average experience and product is not unique anymore. Lounge in Abu Dhabi gets
packed but food choices are good.

AUH-DUB 30 Nov. I endorse what the other passenger on same flight 25 Nov 2009 (diverted to
Manchester has said) has said. Etihad staff at Manchester were nowhere to be seen. Not one
word from them for over three hours. I was refused a meal voucher and even though eventually
got boarding Pass to go via Heathrow back to Dublin - I was denied access to Business lounge.
No leadership whatever - communication a disaster. The Dublin Office gave my son false
information that I was arriving back in Dublin at 21.30 on Etihad flight. They apparently were
not even aware that I and several other passengers had been sent via Heathrow on BMI flight to
arrive at 19.30. Will think hard before I travel with Etihad again. A lengthy circular with
"sincere" apology for the diversion was later issued. But the diversion was not the problem.
It was necessary in the conditions. But I still "sincere" apology for lack of communication
for over three hours, and inexplicable denial of meal voucher.

The most useless customer services I've ever known! 30 working days to receive a refund only
to find out they failed to send it. THEN told I would have to wait another 30 working days due
to there fault. After that still no refund and as my debit card has expired now will have to
email them a bank letter head. I will never use them again, customer service staff are rude
and beyond useless.

LHR-SYD return. I was flying business class and the lie flat beds are comfortable, the service
was great although the attendants seemed a little surprised that I didn't want to eat every
hour or so. The disappointing thing was that they only allowed one change per flight, I am
flying for work and circumstances at work meant my flight was moved two days. When I then got
a chance to fly home early (after being away for 6 weeks) I was informed I couldn't make a
second change to my booking, I couldn't even pay for it. If I wanted to make the change I
would need to cancel my booking and pay for a one way flight which were extortionate given it
was a last minute change, needless to say I had to stick to my original flight. I think this
is ridiculous given I had to pay $100 to make my first change, I would expect to be able to
make changes on Business class without restrictions like this.

MNL-CDG return Business Class. MNL-AUH legs on slightly worn 777's; AUH-CDG legs on newer
A330. The flat beds are short for someone who's 6'1" - would have appreciated not having
stoppers at the end so that feet can move freely. Catering excellent on all legs, staff was
organized. AVOD with noise canceling headphones was decent, though selection is not among
the world's best. Toilets kept clean most of the time, though didn't seem to be decorated for
business class. Chauffeur service to and from CDG was safe and reliable.

MAN-AUH-BKK-AUH-MAN. Service excellent and food was good. IFE reasonable but not such a good
selection of recent films. Seats not comfortable. What is the idea of that movable board that
they call a headrest. It is hard and uncomfortable and the seat would be more comfortable
without it.

SYD-AUH-LHR, LHR-AUH-SYD. 2 legs were excellent, 1 was good and 1 terrible. Thought flight
attendants were charming, Had the new suites on two legs and a fabulous product. Would agree
with a previous comment about the last row of First overlapping with Business. Avoid 3D and G,
in the old style planes - with the new suites it is not a problem. On our final leg from AUH-
SYD the service was terrible - not offered pajamas, not offered to have bed made up, water
bottle not replenished. Struggled to get a cup of tea on waking up. Worst thing was half the
toilets failed, so Business used First toilet (one First toilet out as well). Had to fight to
get access to toilet and couldn't sleep with the number of people walking through First cabin.
Etihad is OK if discount is big enough, but better to pay extra and get a consistent product.
Going over I thought we might swap permanently to Etihad, but not after the AUH-SYD leg.
Apparently toilets have failed before (according to one of the FAs), so a maintenance issue
like this is a worry - what other more important bits might fail?

YYZ-AUH-CGK and return. YYZ-AUH very pleasant, FA's generous in terms of drinks and never
leave you thirsty. Meals were adequate for a 13 hour flight, consisting of 2 meals and 1
snack. AUH-CGK experience was great but slightly marred by passengers that were generally
rude. Selection of IFE was good but movies were a bit outdated, and interface was slow. Seats
generous in terms of width, leg room was adequate not outstanding. Planes were clean and has a
nice sandy colour scheme. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but beware of the
catering/food when flying from AUH. From experience it can be a hit or a miss. The planes are
usually full because AUH is a gateway to countries around the middle east.
