"Seats very narrow"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | Seats very narrow. There is not much arm or leg space, even for someone who are small. I selected 42A for outbound and 42K for inbound, both are window seats, close but not next to the lavatory. Can't say it is a good choice. Had to cross two people to get out of my seats. Both of them have to stand up at the aisle in order for me to get out. Any movement will Also, it's hard to recline the back of seat. Entertainment system is good, good selection of shows to watch.

"seats had no front foot rest"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | Air Canada has the worst economy seat of airlines I have flown. The seat was torturous on this 13.5 hour flight from Dubai to Toronto. The seats have a light construction with poor cushioning and a terrible lumbar support. The adjustable head rest was very uncomfortable. The seat material was abrasive and added to my discomfort. The seats had no front foot rest. While the recline was reasonable and perhaps considerate of passengers behind, some seats reclined more than others.

"Hard and uncomfortable seats"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | Seat was the worst that I've seen on a long flight. Hard and uncomfortable seats that recline poorly and terrible legroom. The seat caused me back pain for a long time.

"seats were absolutely terrible"

(United States)

Trip Verified | The seats were absolutely terrible in every way. Felt like sitting on concrete. The cushions were poorly attached and slid around when you moved. There was little to no back support. No legroom whatsoever. I literally could not sit with my legs in front of me, and could barely fit my backpack under the seat. Also no power outlet anywhere.

"seating is very cramped and uncomfortable"

(Kuwait)

Trip Verified | The seating is very cramped and uncomfortable with less legroom particularly for tall individuals. It feels like they are maximising revenues with addition of more seats thereby reducing customer comfort. Worse still the cabin crew is unhelpful and leaves customers fending for themselves. Cabin crew walking in the aisle keep brushing passengers sitting on the aisle seat. The headphone jack sound was not clear, there was loose connection. The display abruptly shut down for a few random seats some time down the flight and took long to restart again. Display was not responding. Cabin storage space was also relatively less. The crew was clueless on what caused the shutdown. The power plug too was slow to charge cellphone.

"still a nice experience"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | I flew business class after Covid-19 measures were implemented, so I came in expecting reduced cabin service, and that was what I got. That being said, even with all the precautionary measures, I was surprised that they were still able to put a somewhat decent service together. Air Canada uses Super Diamond seats, which arrange passengers in a reverse herringbone configuration. It's a pretty standard product, though I must say I really like the colour scheme that Air Canada uses. It just looks really clean and the colours contrast nicely. Due COVID-19, I requested the upgrade to business as a precautionary measure, and I wasn't disappointed. Even with reduced cabin services, it was still a nice experience. Sure, there's no pillow or bar service- they've warned about this on their website, but as it turned out, when they said they would be serving pre-packaged meals, all they meant was that they weren't going to plate your meal for you. It was still business quality (veal from Hawksworth), but they simply didn't give you that picture perfect plating that is so greatly appreciated. Despite the lack of a pillow, the seats were still quite comfortable, though it could still do with more lumbar support, and the lack of a pillow made the sleeping position a tad awkward because my head was dipped backwards even with the power adjustable headrest. Service could admittedly be a bit more polished, though to be fair, part of this definitely has to do with the COVID-19 precautions. I should probably try upgrading again when this blows over. I do appreciate how quiet the cabin was, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the food quality was not compromised as a result of their infection control measures.

"stretch your legs outward"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | I picked seat 13A, which is right behind the bulkhead seat. This was a good choice, especially since the bulkhead row does not let you fully stretch your legs outwards, and you also don't get seat storage at all. The seat reclines, and the footrest folds down from the seat in front of you (again, another reason not to take the bulkhead seat). I would note that the Singapore Airlines leg rests for Premium Economy are nicer, since they extend from under your seat. It would be nice if they installed a clip at the end of the tray table, because the second half of it is really flimsy, but on the bright side, these seats were definitely felt newer than the ones they had fitted on their 777-300ERs.

"Lot of space"

Not Verified | Lot of space, very expensive WiFi, and bad food. I was traveling to Copenhagen, had a bad experience in the airport. But my stay onboard was okay. Food was not good at all, the staff was friendly though.

"discomfort was exacerbated"

(United Kingdom)

Trip Verified | My flight was 10.5 hours in a Boeing 777-300 but the discomfort was exacerbated by the fact that a very large man was sitting in the aisle seat next to me, and a normal sized man in the other adjacent seat. The flight was full - they had to bounce 5 passengers because they had overbooked.

"leg room was also very tight"

(Canada)

Trip Verified | Although not the worst seats that AC uses, the Embraer 190 leg room was also very tight, with old seats, and non functioning USB charging port. Additionally this plane does not provide any AC charging.
