"comfortable enough"
Ronald Miller (United States)
Flagship lounge at London Heathrow. Not too upmarket, but comfortable enough. The staff doesn't pay enough attention to the customers in the lounge. The good and beverage service is good but not in anyway comparable to the Concorde Lounge that British Airways has. It's just not the same level.

"used plates and glasses"
Murray Cullen (Australia)
Heathrow is such a crowded airport so the chance to use the AA lounge as a Qantas Club member was welcomed. We did get a good welcome in the early evening but that was about it. Club was fairly empty as was most of the food and snack areas. Sandwiches had been picked over, the potato chip container was almost empty, ice container had water - no ice. There were used plates and glasses on a few empty tables. We tried to charge our phones but 6 plugs near armchairs did not work. We eventually got working plugs at a counter, not so comfortable. Not the worst lounge I've visited, but very poor. Unfortunately it set the tone for a very poor Qantas flight to Dubai.

"decent to spend a couple of hours "
Oeivind Hansen (Norway)
One of the better lounges for oneworld premium pax in the US, on a par with the AA Flagship lounges. Decent selection of alcoholic beverages including champagne. Food is so so, mostly cold cuts and salad. Some hot options would have been nice. A decent place to spend a couple of hours in, but not something I would arrive early at the airport for.

"filthy and overcrowded"
Cody Kirkhart (United States)
The American Airlines "Admirals Club" at Miami Airport was filthy and an overcrowded lounge with uninformed staff. It was such a mess, and so packed with people I left. The McDonalds downstairs was more peaceful than this lounge.

"would use it again"
Stephen G Sweet (United States)
I had a few hours to kill at Raleigh Durham waiting for my flight to Seattle on Alaska. As a Boardroom member I was allowed access to American Airlines lounge. I found it to be clean, the service was professional and the offerings were fine. It was not as large as their Chicago operation but that was to be expected. Lots of business folks there, on their phones or having short meetings. Not too many retirees such as myself, relaxing and enjoying the free beer and general hub bub going on around me. I certainly would use it again the next time I am at RDU.

"couches and chairs were comfortable"
Stephen G Sweet (United States)
I visited American's Admiral Club due to Gold status on Alaska. I was quite impressed, the size of the club was amazing to me. The couches and chairs were comfortable and view of the field was great. Very quiet as one would hope after the chaos/noise in the terminal. They offered showers to those on long haul flights as well. The coffee was great with some breakfast snacks. If you wanted an actual breakfast though, you had to pay. I was impressed and good service by the staff.

"lounge offers food for purchase"
1 reviews E Wittmann (United States)
The Admirals Club lounge is rather small, located next to Gate 6, and offers food for purchase. This is unreasonable, because even United Clubs offer complimentary food and snacks. There are complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, as well as premium drinks for purchase. Previously, when the lounge was run by US Airways, there were complimentary snacks.

"Sunday evening the lounge was overcrowded"
4 reviews Diana Pincott (United Kingdom)
Transiting at Miami with five hour layover. Did not realise that there is a BA premium lounge at E gates for silver and gold card holders so wandered into this American Airlines Admirals Club lounge at D gates. The girl at the reception on the ground floor issued a ticket that prescribed one bottled water or beer only and that set the tone of the lounge. On a Sunday evening the lounge was overcrowded with hardly any seats left. Many users had spread their personal belongings out on empty chairs, a kind of behaviour not seen in other lounges. Range of snacks was poor. There was a counter for food purchase, another new scenario for me. Wifi in some areas was cutting off every few minutes. No one was clearing the empty bottles or used plates. I was relieved of this when I approached the front desk to enquire about my delayed flight.

"one of the nicest lounges I have visited"
1 reviews Hilarion Martinez (United States)
One of the nicest lounges I have visited. The seating is excellent and plenty of room to find your own quiet space. The food and beverage selection is excellent. The area is clean and the location of the lounge is near the departure gate. Wifi connectivity is free and excellent.

"spacious with excellent views"
2 reviews Jezrel Sabaduquia (United States)
Flagship Lounge at LAX was good. Showers clean and well-stocked. They also had a nice little 4th of July spread with cake, special red, white and blue beverages. As for lunch, chicken barbecue, mixed vegetables including corn on the cob was served. Quality was poor and the chicken was very dry. Beverage selection was not as extensive as the Flagship Lounge at JFK. Lounge itself was spacious with excellent views of the apron. Overall, a decent flagship lounge, somewhat comparable to their Flagship Lounge at JFK although catering still needs improvement.
