"The signage was terrible"

Not Verified | This was a nightmare of an airport! The signage was terrible, and the staff rude and unhelpful. We stopped at one desk to ask directions and the woman shot back "What, you don't know where you are going?". It went downhill from there. Our flight was late from Minneapolis and we only had minutes to connect. One man told us to hurry to the plane, but another stopped him and said I had to be checked, which made us miss out flight. And so we had to then get to our destination by traveling through another airport (Schiphol)! Never again.

"waited in the security line for over an hour"

Not Verified | I came through CDG as a transfer for a flight to Bergen and it was the worst airport experience I have ever had. I waited in the security line for Terminal F for over an hour when there were only seven people ahead of me. There were flight crew that kept coming through the line to get checked which kept bumping back the line. There were also people running to the front of the line that were about to miss their flight. By the time I made it through security, I had to run to get to my flight which I fortunately caught in time. I have never seen such disorganization and indifference of the staff at any other airport.

Not Verified | Shameful experience Saturday July 30, 2022 morning flight, Terminal 2E. We arrived 2 3/4 hours early checked in at our airline Delta, half hour to check in - got in Border Police line that was 1 hour wait time, there were only three Border Police booths manned for many hundreds of general passengers exiting country, and two other Border Police lines for special people. Took train to gates M, 1/4 hour, experienced, 1/2 wait to get through Security. Had to run for flight down a long, long corridor. Flight was delayed since so many people we extraordinarily delayed at Border Police and Security. Anybody using CDG needs to be prepared for enormous delays and missed connections. Looks like there is an attitude at CDG of we will serve at our own pace. Maybe 4 hours early arrival is needed. The airlines should complain since delayed flights cost them money.

✅ Trip Verified | The airport was a bit confusing, I was told to go somewhere to drop my luggages and once I went there I was told to go somewhere else and again somewhere else, which was stressful and confusing. After that everything was better, I easily went through customs and was able to board my flight. Other than that the Airport is very nice, clean and has a lot of stores and entertainment (video games that you can play for example).

"amazed at the lack of organization"

✅ Trip Verified | I flew countless times in and out of CDG airport. Every time I'm amazed at the lack of organization of this international airport. Long lines, lack of instructions, rude staff. I arrived at midnight and had no option to reach my airport hotel only 1 km away. Had to follow a non-official taxi driver 2h after wandering in the airport (by the way, scam taxi drivers are legions there and nobody seems to care). No decent train to reach the city, you have to take a local train that stops in every suburb town on the way.

"Possibly the worst airport in the world!"

Not Verified | Possibly the worst airport in the world! No signs, staff beyond unhelpful. If possible I never want to visit this airport again. Baggage reclaim is a joke if your baggage arrives, you have to climb 4 flights of stairs and get a shuttle train to find your luggage and the staff are absolutely wonderful at ignoring your bewilderment.

"Avoid CDG like the plague"

Not Verified | I have traveled all over the world. Avoid CDG like the plague. I have flown out of CDG 3 times I will never do it again. Last week I had one of the worst experiences ever in 40 years of air travel. I arrived at the airport at 9.00am for a 1.15pm flight. I got through security check at 1.18pm. 4 hours to check-in and get through security. Quite simply, for every single person working there seemed to be 15 standing around talking with each other. I stood in the line for check-in for 75 minutes and the people working the ticket counter would not serve one customer. They watched the check-in line build to literally 400 people before starting to check-in anybody. We were the first people in line. Then it took the agent 30 minutes to check us in. The level of incompetence and complete indifference of the staff at this airport is absolutely staggering. My daughter got through security 4 minutes before me and I told her to run the gate and tell them to wait. They did, thankfully and I escaped the hell of inefficiency. I would rather get a root canal than depart through this airport again. Signage on flights was non-existent. The security was rude and slow. The bathrooms were filthy. The wifi did not work. Its a shame because I love France and the French people who don’t work at the airport.

"a huge disappointment"
