"Immigration took 1.5hrs"

Not Verified | Three hours from leaving the plane to still not having a car. Immigration took 1.5hrs, worst ever. Same with Alamo now. Long Queue, then no car. Never Montreal again, I rather go to some third world country!

"This airport is horrendous"

Not Verified | This airport is horrendous. There are so signs to tell you anything. The security is manned by high school graduates who have no clue how to manage large crowds. I have nexus but it closes at 9. Why? I cannot believe I actually paid an airport tax for this airport.

"Dirty and tiny washrooms"

Trip Verified |  Overcrowded, old and filthy airport. Dirty and tiny washrooms. No lounges available to general public or business travellers outside the international section. This airport should have been closed and dismantled years ago but due to silly political decisions at a provincial level, it's still being used past it's useful life. In the meantime, the newer Mirabel airport is sitting out there, basically abandoned.

"2 hours going from one end to the other"

Trip Verified | Not one information person knew where to send me for lost baggage yet they sent me off in a direction. I had a 2 hour layover and thought I could get food before my next flight of the day with no food service. I spent 2 hours going from one end to the other up/ down escalators, going from one airline to another to find my luggage. I was about to give up when I decided to log on to the airline site of the one I flew in on and hut track my baggage. Which told me it was in the building. I asked for help again and was told to go find the black phones and call the airline myself. All because a baggage handler told me that my bag would be sent to Halifax so I didn't need to wait by the carousel anymore. Once you leave that area, you can't go back in. So one security man sits at the door annoyed that he has to take his music buds from his ear to listen to me.

"signage is very poor"

Not Verified | The walking distance when connecting though from international flights is brutal. There is inadequate signage and very few helpful staff, in fact rude staff. I was refused a ride on a golf cart only to be looked after later by a different driver. The signage is very poor. I will never connect through Montreal again if I can avoid it

"200 person line-up for taxi service"

Trip Verified | After many hours of travel, transit stops, line-ups and delays on arrival at PET airport we were astounded to find an approximately 200 person line-up for taxi service. This fiasco was being "managed" by an, utterly incompetent, clearly disturbed taxi "marshal" in charge of the disaster who spent his time haranguing clients and screaming at anybody near him. It is sad that a fool like this can make travel through the airport so very unappealing.

Trip Verified | Arrived from Moncton, waited five minutes for ramp crew to arrive, after plane was at the gate waited 19 minutes for crew to open the door. Food selection is deplorable, Sat in area at Gate 50 with electric outlets, neither receptacle on each side of my seat nor any of the USB outlets worked.

"Horrible airport to transfer through"

Not Verified | Horrible airport to transfer through. We had tickets on Air Canada and when they cancelled our flight we were re-booked on United who also managed to cancel and we had a nightmarish experience trying to get back home. Noone was helpful, we had to pau for our own hotels, taxi fares, food and not a word of apology from the incompetent airline staff that screwed up our tickets in the first place. To be avoided at all cost for my future travel. Only positive is the smaller size and manageable lines for security and customs, else I was very disappointed with the transfer experience in Montreal

"Delay after delay and no update"

Not Verified | Delay after delay and no update to the board. According to the screen at my gate we are supposed to board 40 mins ago, still no update. Also, they blast a really loud high-pitched sound randomly for minutes at a time. Employees just aren't communicating, and we are all kept out of the loop.

Not Verified | There were limited facilities available, the airport looked dirty, cramped spaces, delayed flights, and poor communication with the staff. This airport needs more upgrading and more restaurants and lounges for passengers to relax in.
