Ahmedabad Airport

✅ Trip Verified | I used this airport for travelling on 11 Jul. The Internet did not connect for me as I don't have a local number - no Adani staff was around from security to any of the departure gates to ask the code. There is a land phone which was not working, sad to see in this condition.  immigration officers were laxed, 1 was on his mobile looking reels, 4 passengers were waiting, and he took off and went away without letting know. Security staff at screening were rude to elderly travelers who spoke Gujarati, this is Gujarat and not everyone needs to know Gujarati, but if some elders who can't speak in Hindi shouldn't be scolded or looked down on to speak Hindi. Every local country/region speaks their own language. If they are here to work from other states, they should be at least polite. 

✅ Trip Verified | I've been to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport a few times and each time my experience hasn't been good. When I go on family trips, the wheelchair facility is terrible. They board people with wheelchairs last, which hasn't happened at any other airports I've been to. The second issue is that there is no crowd management, everyone just boards the plane at once which leads to shoving and pushing people. However, even with all these people, the airport lacks chairs and seats at the gates. Every time I've traveled from AMD, all my gates had only 15-20 seats which is clearly not enough considering how busy the airport is. The worst part of this airport is the staff, they do not understand requests and are not sympathetic at all. The positives of this airport are the food options is good and has a variety of meals. The other positive thing about the airport is the cleanness.

Not Verified | Poor quality of services, no trolley at arrival area, instead staff asking for paid services. Long line in security check in with only few counters opened. Staff behavior is like, they are doing mercy on us to allow traveling “Atithi Devo Bhav” is very poorly experienced at the airport. The management should look for this.

✅ Trip Verified | I love flying out of Ahmedabad airport said no one ever. Well maybe someone will next year when the new terminal opens but for now we have to deal with an overcrowded crumbling building. Best thing you can do is limit your time here. There is also no domestic transfer channel so you have to exit and start again

Not Verified | Unnecessary crowding with multiple people coming to drop off a single passenger. Ridiculous pricing for baggage assistance, Limited shopping selection. Limited food and drinks options. Not at all appropriate for the largest city in Gujarat.

Not Verified | I was visiting family in India, so this was the airport we went to, and it was actually really good there. They had lounge chairs at the gates. The only problem was the constant beep during a conveyor belt motion, and it was really annoying, and it spread throughout the airport. I really do think this is a great airport overall.

✅ Trip Verified | This airport is improving. In recent days they had added more space and departure gates, also arrival area and baggage belt. Security checks is most of the time relatively smooth, not so long queue, clean toilets. Need to improve food options and also lounge experience.

✅ Trip Verified | The airport is under construction but very clean and airport staff is very helpful. It is a Silent airport so need to be attentive. Airport Lounge is small but very good food. The waiting area is comfortable and nice. No bad smell in the airport

✅ Trip Verified | Airport with all basics facilities, clean washroom, decent food options, sitting area, paid sleeping pods, smoking room, lounge. Free WiFi is just for 45 min and if having international numbers they trouble getting connected, need to contact help desk for connecting . During peak rush hour queue at security can be little long still 20-30 min is maximum.

✅ Trip Verified | Good experience, arrival is simple, not much walking involved, Maximum 5 min of walking from Aircraft you reached exit, at the time reach baggage belt baggage started to arrive. Clean washroom at baggage area. Cab and auto Available easily and also Ola/Uber. There is one few public bus too for Ahmedabad, selfdrive options also available.
