Sydney-Joburg business class best night sleep on a plane. Love the quilted mattress thing they put over the seat - looks thin but makes a big difference. Food okay nothing special IFE the same crew efficient and friendly. But the high point is the seat - wide and very comfortable. Would highly recommend although there's not a lot of choice on this route.

SYD-BKK. Not used to Economy on longer flights but this day timer was OK. Food surprisingly good especially panna cotte! With nobody next to me it was an added blessing! VOD was pretty ordinary. Service was OK but choices and quality better than Virgin Premium Economy given the few bumps we had. Toilets were kept clean but did run out of Kleenex.

SYD-SIN-SYD. Crew very friendly. Only issue is food. I opted for vegetarian meal and it was tasteless. IFE had huge collection to watch. Seats were good and comfortable. Overall a good experience.

Sunday evening flight Melbourne to Sydney. Had a window seat and already printed my pass at one of the many self- serve kiosks. Asked the attendants at the sales desk if I could change my seat after printing explaining I thought I was too late. She politely stated that it was ok a new one would be printed. Gate 7 at domestic departures Tullamarine Airport - the attendants were on time polite and had high standards of uniform. More importantly two people were scanning tickets to enter the gate not one. Entering the aircraft was greeted with more smiles including the head flight attendant. After take off she agreed to move me to the exit row given my height (190cm). Ipads in all the seats and also complimentary headphones before entering the plane. Flight attendants then walked down both aisles making sure anyone who missed them got a pair before take-off. Food was very good timely delivery with multiple takings and more service with a smile. So far dealt with 5 flight attendants - faultless. Drinks were great and they were very prompt with taking rubbish despite having a full 767. I was also offered to have my trench coat stored during the flight with the business class luggage very thoughtful. Flight was comfortable service exceptional farewell contained yet more smiles and I've never flown better in my life. Very impressed with the way I was treated.

SYD-HKG Return. Economy. 747 and A380. Compared to other One World partners Qantas really does provide a great product. Tasty and plentiful food and plenty of additional snacks and extras throughout the flight. While the friendliness of the crew can be inconsistent this would be the only detracting feature. The A380 product seat and inflight entertainment is excellent. A satisfying experience that really could not be faulted.

Very rude check in staff! I was flying with Emirates from Wellington but since Emirates does not fly directly to Wellington I had a Qantas connection. My hand carry was a little bit over the allowable limit and they won't let me through! I would not have minded re-packing and paying the extra charges but the check in staff were so rude it made me react differently. First they didn't greet me with a smile and then they talked down to me. I support them being strict about policies but there should be room for common sense.

SYD to SIN on A330. Seat was horrible! I arrived in Singapore with sore thigh. They should have installed a footrest! Flight attendants were neither polite nor impolite. No smile no expression (except one cheerful lady). Seems like they are forced to do their jobs. I requested for special diet as I am a vegetarian food was edible but nothing special. Entertainment options was OK however the system is very slow difficult to navigate and very outdated. Some other domestic Qantas fleet has been equipped with touch screen entertainment system so why retain this old remote style IFE on-international fleet? Considering that the price that I paid wasn't cheap and with the same price I can fly with another airline with a better reputation I am expecting a better service.

Recently flew Qantas/Jetconnect from Brisbane to Auckland QF125 this flight leaves Brisbane at 6.45pm arriving into Auckland at around 11.50pm. Online check-in was easy and when we dropped our bags at check-in the staff were friendly and very nice. Once onboard the crew were welcoming and friendly as always with the Kiwi Spirit was sitting in row 15 leg room was good for myself and seat was comfortable meals were great and options for Beverages were just the same. Would recommend Qantas across the Tasman any day with it being one of the only Full Service Airlines that operate from Australia to New Zealand and these flights are all operated by New Zealanders so they are always friendly and welcoming with a Smile.

Travelled Sydney - London and return on QF1/2 in Premium Economy. Believe it was worth the sale price we obtained the tickets for but not the normal full price. The cabin service was excellent as we're the meals and entertainment system. The only downside of the trip was a late return into Sydney resulting in a missed connection. We were told we would be on the next flight but at domestic transfer we were told our domestic booking had not been changed and as there were no seats on the next flight we have to weight another hour for the flight after.

Sydney to Santiago and return. Food was terrible Qantas have cut so many corners in recent times they may as well tell you to bring a packed lunch and your own drinks. Service was slow airplane turned into a dustbin in the 12/13 hours I was on it. Seats although reconditioned were not comfortable and arm rests didn't retract fully. In flight entertainment was ordinary. Very disappointing. I definitely wouldn't recommend Qantas for long haul international flying anymore - they've had it.
