"really nice lounge"

(United Kingdom)

Really nice lounge with excellent food and beverage options from soft drinks to champagne. Well presented hot and cold buffet options meant we ate well before the flight and could therefore get to sleep soon after take off. Comfortable seating, showers if needed and good views of the apron and runway.

"Food selection is small"

(United Kingdom)

Was upgraded to business with Emirates and got offered lounge access at the Oryx Lounge in Doha Airport. It was during Eid holiday, so alcohol was not being served. Food selection is small, but quality is good. Coffee machines are available for use. The facility has showers, but the toilets are small. They have a recreation area with playstation and football. Lounge is good if you have time to kill and just want to have a bit of drink before your flight, but other than that it is quite boring. I'd rather walk around and shop than just sit and wait for another flight where I'll be sitting for at least an hour.

"lounge ambience quiet and relaxed"

(Australia)

Dubai airport is huge, we were in Terminal 3, and as a OneWorld emerald member, visited the Emirates lounge on the way to and from Europe. The first visit was at breakfast time where the food was limited but good. The lounge ambience was quiet and relaxed and access to the gate is straight from the lounge. The second visit was in the middle of the night (local time). The food was set up for dinner and snacks and was varied. The bar was open and staff to help. The free shoe shine service was open, but I did not see it used (mine were clean). The only problem was that the lounge it was part closed. This meant toilets were quite a distance away and the gate required one to backtrack quite a way. Problems: there were not enough relaxing areas and the toilets (men's) has a queue, maybe because of the closed off areas.

"offered good and friendly services"

(Belgium)

Emirates First Class lounge at Dubai International Airport is extremely big. It offered good and friendly services. Also good food choices, and good if you eat halal. Excellent staff.

"Very nice and comfortable"

(Australia)

First time I have had time to use the Emirates Business Lounge at Dubai. Very nice and comfortable. Selection of refreshments is good and most of all the shower facilities to freshen up and feel human. With these shower facilities, its an idea to book in swiftly as they do get used heavily and often a 20-30 mins wait.

"lounge was empty"

(United Kingdom)

This lounge was under renovation and on our arrival it did not seem to matter as the lounge was empty. Within a short time it filled up very quickly. There are insufficient toilet facilities for ladies. As this lounge can accommodate hundreds of people, there was only one block of ladies toilets (6 toilets in total, if I remember correctly) and only 3 showers! I hope that after the renovations, they will make these facilities more friendly no ladies - not just men. There was plenty of food and drinks on offer.

"floors were dirty with mess everywhere"

(Australia)

Awful. Greeting at the reception was rude and surly. She could have at least pretended she liked her job. There were dishes piled up on the tables and too few tables for the number of patrons. Floors were dirty with mess everywhere. Seats (when we could find one) were dirty and uncomfortable. This was no replacement for the closed Emirates lounge.

"some great food, and array of drinks"

(United Kingdom)

We were returning to Glasgow from Langkawi via Kuala Lumpur and Dubai, and had 6 hours in KL so we decided to go to the Lounge. I was only allowed for one extra guest to the lounge but they let me take my two kids as well. Some great food, and array of drinks, tea, coffee, beers and soft drinks. There was a great window to see aircraft and there was good wifi. There were many computers. There were no Sofas.

"just the right size"

(United Kingdom)

I have used Emirates lounges around the world and this is one of the best. It's just the right size to hold a full A380's worth of First and Business passengers without looking overcrowded. The food was excellent with plenty of hot and cold choices, desserts and lots of good French cheeses. There's the usual self service bar, fridges full of soft drinks and freshly squeezed juices, champagne and wine and a good coffee machine. There's plenty of comfortable seating and a nice observation deck outside where you can stand and watch the A380 arrive and park up right outside. it has a good business centre and nice bathrooms with showers. Overall a very nice and relaxing environment.

"the best Emirates Lounge I've used"

(United Kingdom)

This is the best Emirates Lounge I've used mainly because the food is so good but it's also a very nice, relaxing environment to wait before your 8 hour flight back to Dubai. The first time I used it I checked in at 7pm for a midnight flight so spent several hours there. The second time not so long but on both occasions we had an excellent 3 course restaurant standard meal with lots of good, Far Eastern and European choices which were constantly replenished by the busy staff. There's 2 self service bar areas with good aged spirits, mixers, wine and champagne and a good coffee machine. After dinner we relaxed in the comfy chairs and passed the time with a few drinks, magazines and newspapers. There's a good business centre, free wifi and bathrooms with showers. Overall Excellent, well done Emirates.
