"Flight attendants rude"

Not Verified | 50 min to check luggage. Long lines, first needed to get ticket then wait in 2nd long line to hand over bag. 1 person checking in. Plane delayed. Flight attendants rude to those "in the back". Attendant at boarding also rude. Did not get regular status but found it online. Pilot was nice and tried to be accommodating. Had to pay extra to sit next to my husband.

"the worst carrier"

✅ Trip Verified | Washington to Columbia. United is by far the worst carrier I have ever flown and done business with. Over the past 15 yrs they have screwed our flights on every occasion! From missing flights to losing our bags for over a year. We have limited opportunity because of the small airport we fly out of. We will drive to a major hub in Charlotte to avoid this airline going forward. I highly encourage anyone looking to fly to avoide United Airlines as well.

✅ Trip Verified | QRO - Queretero, Mexico - to IAH Houston Texas - 2 hour flight seated in a United Arlines - Embraer 175 operated by Mesa Airlines. The seats had 0 - zero - padding and likened itself to sitting on a wooden church pew. I am not exaggerating. Literally no padding. If one inch (1") of padding was added to each seat, the plane would lose 2 rows of seats (8 seats) for that flight segment. Corporate greed couldn't be worse (of course it could be, but you get my point). See you, United Airlines, never again.

✅ Trip Verified | Today I flew from Newark NJ to Fort Myers Fl with my five year old. Since I bought my tickets late my daughter and I sat in different aisles. The Flight Attendant Sumará was beyond helpful and gave my daughter extraordinary service by keeping her entertained throughout the flight. I am truly grateful and happy and would recommend this airline to anyone specially families with children. United airlines hires the best customer friendly staff. I will always fly United!

"customer service is the worst"

✅ Trip Verified | I was flying from New Orleans to New York at 330pm and 3 Uunited pilots showed up 3+ hours late “due to traffic” (although everyone else arrived with out an issue for their flight). As you could imagine, lots of people to miss their connecting flights. When I called to get a new flight home I was told there weren’t any to take me to New York until the following day at 2pm. I had to stay in a hotel and was not given my luggage. The United staff I talked to about my hotel fought with each other for 15 mins before helping the customers and then when I got to the counter the lady “helping me” answered a phone call from her son on her cell phone and proceeded to talk to him while I stood there at 11pm waiting for a hotel voucher. The next day the weather was bad and the 2pm, 5pm and 930om were all cancelled. When I finally got home I was told by United that my flight would be refund to my card in 7-10 business day. When it wasn’t I called and wrote numerous online complaints. I was then told that I couldn’t be refunded because the flight was used. I told them I was supposed to be refunded and no one cared and I’m fact they were rude to me when I became upset. Then I was told they would give me a $100 voucher through email in 5 business days but AGAIN I have not received it. They don’t care about your time or your business. I fly very often and the customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.

New York to San Francisco. After my experience with luggage check-in today, I will not fly with United Airlines if possible. 70% of the UA Staff have no compassion to anyone. Mainly rude, impolite, impatient, made personal judgement before asking and high ego. This is my overall experiences after flying with United Airlines. I am giving my comment based on comparing with my regular airlines like Air Canada, Cathy Pacific, British Airways, Lufthansa and Condor Air. Sometimes, I wonder is this part of the training of United Airlines by offering this type of customer experience or it was simply the culture of UA.

Norfolk to Vail. I’ve been waiting for 27+ hours now because our flight has gotten delayed a number of times due to what they claim are weather related reasons. Meanwhile all other planes have gotten to their destination of Vail. However, they graciously offered us snacks for our troubles despite our hundreds of dollars in hotel fees and meals. Overall, United Airlines is terrible, you should not fly United.

"Never flying United again"

Not Verified | Never flying United Airlines again. I recently took a trip from North Dakota to Brisbane and back. United managed to ruin over 60% of my flights. It started on my 2nd flight on the way there. The aircraft was delayed for almost 3 hours and did not take off until it should have been landing in San Francisco. Not only that we as customers were given different reasons as to the delays. One said too much rain for 1.5 hours of the delay and the other said too much wind for the other 1.5 hour delay. Landed in San Francisco the ground was barely wet and there was no wind at all. Get off the plane to the overhead pagers telling us that they are going to close the door for the connecting flight to Auckland NZ, mind you 35 passengers were on the plane late from Denver. Plane gets into NZ late miss my connection and have to sit in NZ for 6 hours until the next flight leaves for Brisbane. Return trip stuck in Denver again. Flight crew lied to passengers said it was weather related when in reality they were out of hours. Given 6 hours in a hotel room to sleep and then back to the airport for the flight to be cancelled yet again. Crew blamed weather and that was a lie. The aircraft they were flying was not the proper aircraft to land on the runway in ND as it had no revers thrusters. Same aircraft as the night before so they lied about twice to their customers. Customer Service desk in Denver was not helpful at all. Had to catch a flight out that night to Bismarck which is 3 hours away from home when I should've been flying into Williston 45 mins away. Land in Bismarck and my luggage was sent to Williston and not moved over onto the proper plane. 3 hour drive back from Bismarck and my luggage should've been delivered to my door and yet it was not. Had to make the delivery company deliver it that night like I had informed Williston United personnel that it needed to be. Had to wait almost an extra 2 hours for my luggage to be delivered when it is a 45 minute drive thanks to slow and lazy delivery service. Wrote to Customer Care and they offered me a lousy 300 dollar flight voucher. They offer up to 1k dollar flight vouchers when they over book a plane yet 300 dollars is acceptable to them after wasting 30 plus hours of a paying customers life?? United has 100 percent lost my business and I will make sure I inform everyone I know to choose other Airlines. I am writing this so that if anyone considering flying United Reads this to be aware and to stay away from them as they will Lie to you without issues and they will do absolutely nothing to make things right when they provide horrible service and cause you to be late getting to and from your destinations. They simply do not care as a Corporation about their Customer base.
