KWI-DXB-HKG, both legs on A330-200. Seats are a bit hard, but acceptable. There was no
footrest, making it difficult for shorter people such as me.

Absolutely horrific seats in economy on very long sectors on B77L up to 17hours. Really think they
should consider 3-3-3 like all other world class airlines on the very long flights to the Americas.
Even on shorter sectors the 777s are very uncomfortable and cramped. When on a busy sector like to
Bangkok flights are packed full and offer very poor comfort. The air fares do not reflect the
charter quality seating. 4 points for entertainment only, provided the person in front does not
recline their seat.

Hong Kong to Bangkok, as the plane has a stop there, on its way to Dubai. Quality service, but the
seats are the worst!? The legroom is good, but the seat width probably is the worst ever. The seat
width is so small, since they have added another seat, 10 instead of the regular 9 by other
carriers. Our three hour long flight become unpleasant and we told ourselves never again to fly with
Emirates. I only recommend Emirates for short flights, and tiny/thin people. Must be nice for kids,
actually. The recline is like the "modern" shell seats, you slide. The worst idea in air-travel,
ever.

Whoever designed these seats has obviously never flown long-haul in them. There is no leg-room to
speak of, and it's impossible to watch the TV screen if the person in front of you has their seat
reclined. The lack of footrests makes for a v. uncomfortable flying experience - at 5'7" my feel
only just touched the floor if I was sitting upright - if I reclined my seat, I had to put my feet
on my bag or else risk the circulation in my legs being cut off. I thought that the food was v.
good but I'd never fly long-haul with them again.

This was my first flight on Emirates and was looking forward to the trip. Emirates have squeezed
extra seats in the 777. Most airlines fit 9 across while Emirates fit ten across. The seats are very
narrow, hard and uncomfortable. While the front of the seat raises when you recline the seat it does
not make it any more comfortable, and there is no foot rest. The LCD movie screen is also very close
to your face when the person in front reclines their seat making it hard to focus on the screen. The
cabin crew lack of concern about safety procedures was matter as well. |

MAN-DXB-BNE we had the B777-300ER and chose the two seats at the back 49 J/K on both legs of the
flight the older planes seemed to have more legroom than the newer one, it seems Emirates wants to
get an extra row in. The food was very good on all flights, the ICE system was excellent when you
got some headphones that worked. The main problem was seat width they are just too narrow

Second row from front (economy) suffers because front row (behind solid partition) has extra leg
room and is able to tilt right back. It was impossible to extend tray table when this occurred
(nearly whole of the flight) and needed stewards intervention to request front row passenger to
raise seat back so that meals could be served to our 2nd row of 2 seats. Situation exacerbated by
front row passengers stretching legs out and pushing against solid partition in front of them
increasing seat back tilt - at least for half of trip.

Footrests have been removed, to save weight apparently, this can cause circulation problems
especially when seats are tilted, with legs dangling in the air. some other carriers have one less
seat across giving more seat width as well.
