Very Poor  Legroom space

I spent 12 hours on BA 031 seat 50B sandwiched between 2 others and had much difficulty getting in and out of my seat because there wasn't enough legroom to easily get past the heavyweight sleeper who sat in the aisle seat and who really liked to spread out. Each person in the row of seats I was in were broad shouldered. The person in the window seat in front had to step on the seats over the middle person to get out of their space.

BA flight KWI-LHR. Old seat with dim seatback LCD screen, and the reclining button doesn't work well. If BA can check the function of each seats monthly and add footrest on these planes it might be of some help to get a better experience.

Very Poor  Legroom space

I'm 6'4" so the legroom is really important to me. I'm usually quite lucky in being able to get a bulkhead seat but this time I had to fly in the regular economy seat. I was squashed an uncomfortable for a long time and the flight to Cape Town was nearly 12 hours.

Seat 52B, some extra-space on your left due to the lack of the 52A seat but precisely for this you cannot lean against the wall or the window pane. I suggest to pick this seat if you have to travel coach class, if you're not to tall you can even stand and stretch on the space between the wall and the seat on your left.

BA economy is getting worse each time I fly. We all know that BA would really prefer to cater to the Business Only market but they do not need to make the passengers in WT feel second best. The seat pitch is almost like charter now with no leg room for anyone above 5'10". Come on BA the people in WT work hard to pay for their air fares. I would be happier if they took a few rows out & increased the fare slightly to compensate this - 30" is not acceptable especially when other airlines using the same aircraft can offer up to 34"!

Managed to get a seat in economy, a few rows behind Club Europe, and benefit from the extra legroom. Flew out on the right side of the aircraft, where there are 3 seats and flew back on the left side, where there are 2 seats. Left side is much more comfortable as the middle seat is not used. The only down side of sitting in these convertable seats is that the seat-dividers are non- movable, which can make getting into and out of your seat a little bit more difficult. Extra leg room more than makes up for this.

While not spacious, these seats are relatively well designed, maximising leg room and with comfortable headrests that actually support your head. While an extra few inches of legroom would be nice, these seats are perfectly bearable on long-haul, and allow you to get some sleep.

I would not like to be much larger than I am. The seat was extremely narrow. Eating was difficult as was getting in and out of the seat.

A321 seats seem to have slightly less legroom than the A320/A319s and the leather feels harder too, detracting from comfort.
