Not Verified | The worst immigration services I have ever encountered. The immigration officer at the international departure Hall is ridiculously rude and not professional. Instead of helping the customers, he gave unclear instruction and delay the whole process. Training should be provided to all the immigration officer, in particular their customer services skill. Otherwise, this will tarnish the image of Malaysia for sure.

"the check-in area was very old"

Not Verified | Airport was generally clean and had lots of shopping. However, the check-in area was very old. In order to drop our bags and get our boarding passes, we had to queue for at least 40 minutes. In most airports, there is a bag drop area and machines to print boarding passes and baggage tags. This would give us more time to relax at the gate or shop in the malls. It would be great to see some updates like this in the terminal. Also, the security was a bit scattered. There was a general screening which was only for bags, and then there was a second screening at the gate. It would be more efficient to have this all done in one place.

"2 hours in the immigration queue"

Not Verified | Worst airport in the world. Lost 2 connections. Immigration is incredibly slow and tedious. Waited over 2 hours in the immigration queue. The immigration officers are overwhelmed with the thousands of people waiting in the queue for hours and hours. I experienced this more than a dozen times in KLIA.

"no opportunity to refill water bottles"

✅ Trip Verified | The security at the gate prevents passengers taking water into the departure lounge which is correct but there is then no opportunity to refill water bottles in the departure lounge (gate C12). No airport staff could help so I face a long flight to the UK with insufficient water. (The supplies on board the aircraft are always very inadequate). Incredibly frustrating and detrimental to staying healthy.

✅ Trip Verified | Worst airport immigration ever. The queue line was confusing and there are not enough staff on the ground to manage the crowd. Very disappointing and never want to pass through this airport where possible. Avoid!

✅ Trip Verified | KLIA 2 has the worst immigration queue system. Having travelled so frequently, I've never experienced such terrible planning, with long term long waiting time. There's no ground staff to guide the passengers, and it seemed almost like a free for all queue system. So if you are thicked skin enough, just feel free to jump the queue.

✅ Trip Verified | On early Sunday morning of 14th April I was travelling from Singapore to Seoul via KLIA2. During transit at the security check the officer told me to take off my watch. I don’t usually wear my watch while going through security checks hence I forgot to take the watch back. 2 days later I was on transit at KLIA again and approached the staff at the Information counter at KLIA2 and asked them if there’s a Lost and Found counter around where I can enquire about my watch. The staff helped me to contact Lost and Found, and fortunately they got my watch. I have another flight to catch in 1.5 hours and the staff went an extra mile by volunteering to take the watch from Lost and Found counter for me. I appreciate this kind act by the two staffs and most thankful to them too. The watch is a gift from someone and cost more than RM300, I really thought I would never see it again. I had a great travelling experience at KLIA due to these staffs, kudos to them!

Not Verified | The facilities are sufficient however the security at the Gate were really rude and unprofessional. They shouted at passengers. I was at Gate 2 on 7 April 2019 for my flight transit to Singapore (MH 611). A girl was throwing liquid in the bin that stated “throw your lags here (liquid, aerosol etc). However, she got shouted at and given sarcastic remarks. The security lady also seemed to throw the trays after. I think that’s impolite, rude and unprofessional. I hope the passenger services improve.

✅ Trip Verified | I travel a lot. This airport is one of my favourite transit hubs. There are so many things that can be done at this airport during your transit. My last transit was 3 hours at this airport and I wish I could have made it longer. The design and the shops there made me feel so warm and delighted.
