Korean Air

BKK-ICN-LAX return. Outbound to ICN on 77E and return on 773 to BKK. ICN-LAX return on A380. 77E had older IFE system but worked well and had the same movies as the latest system. Power plug and USB port a big feature. IFE is not as extensive as CX but had some good movies and music. Cabin Crew addressed me by name and confirmed my AVML which was tasty and they consistently made rounds with juice and water. Seats were very comfortable. A380 felt open and airy I would definitely fly again based on experience and value.

ICN-YYZ business ("Prestige") class. Flight attendants and purser were very friendly and efficient (although not as intensely efficient as Cathay). Food was above average quality for business class. Seats were comfortable but not the latest Korean Air offering but nothing to gripe about. IFE was a little sparse for a 12-hour flight but the films were current. Plane was 777-200.

Phuket-Seoul-Seattle on A330. A fantastic airline where only the bland small portioned rubbery food let's down a great product. Very roomy seat pitch brilliant AVOD touchscreen entertainment and friendly attentive staff. Seoul airport is full of amenities and the in transit airport hotel a great touch for lengthy stopovers. Over zealous security would be the only airport fault.

LAX-Incheon-Manila return. Very clean planes good leg room courteous FA's and very good service. Only comment is on my return trip the 747 from Incheon to LAX was old and we were unable to hear the pilots announcements. Worth it and will be taking this airline on my next trip to Manila specially with their new A380.

Phuket-Seoul-Seattle. Great flights clean modern A330 on both legs and pleasant attendants. AVOD brilliant only downfall was the atrocious Korean food on both legs! Tasteless rubbery and small portions sums it all up!

ATL-ICN March 2012 Boeing 772. New airplane clean with soothing interior cabin colour. Outstanding inflight "touch screen" entertainment. Delicious meals with friendly flight attendants.

IAD-ICN-PNH return. Food was good flight attendants were very nice and helpful. Entertainment selection was pretty decent. On the return flight on 2 different occasions a flight attendant cleaned the bathroom before I went to use it. Flight attendants come around a lot with drinks. Will fly them again.

Sydney to London via Seoul return. Wonderful flight with friendly and efficient service. Food was good even the Korean food and kids meals superb. Entertainment system was good and for economy we seemed to have a large amount of leg room. Drinks and snacks were brought around regularly. Overnight stay in Seoul - could not fault it. Return flight similarly good. Highly recommended.

IAD-ICN-IAD. Boeing 747. Attentive detail-oriented staff efficient meal services comfortable completely flat-bed seat. Clean bathrooms. Although a lot of the inflight amenities kit were not located in front of the seat (only slippers were) when I asked for them (eye mask stocking earplugs water spray etc.) staff will bring them to you. All the toiletries were well-stocked in the bathrooms. Between meals there was a list of snacks I could choose from. I am most impressed with Korean Air.

Staff in particular were really helpful and kept the toilets clean throughout. The food was very good although the same menu flying from London to Seoul and Seoul to Auckland - be good to have more choice. The flat beds were good and we were also very impressed with the Hyatt hotel stopover at the airport in Incheon. Most helpful flight crews of any airline we have encountered.
