Very busy. Our main complaint is that very many people were taking up two seats, either by making a
'bed' of them or putting some baggage/ laptops etc. on them such that we and others had to stand and
struggle with what refreshments we might get - not any chance of resting. No staff seemed to bother.
Nobody made any attempt to sort these people out !

Its stuffed 0000hr to 0400hr, but there were plenty of seats when we visited. Warm food, excellent wines and good internet access.
Its only needs to last this summer when the new terminal opens. Go for the lounge by gate
20, not the one down the other end which has crude toilets and is more cramped. |

Without doubt the most disgraceful lounge I've ever been in. Quite simply, there are not enough
seats, the seats are in blocks of four and joined together, the food is average (wrapped sandwiches,
cheese bread), the internet wifi connects but transmits no data, the drink choice is ok (black label
JW etc). I walked in and asked if I was in the right place - people look unhappy to be in there and
the lights are very bright. I was tempted to walk out after 2 mins and find an airport pub but
remembered this airport is not so nice and very crowded. I hope Emirates builds its own lounge in
GRU - it is not acceptable to use a facility which resembles a teenager's rumpus room. |

I guess it must be entirely dependent on the time of day you hit this lounge. My last two
experiences had left me expecting the worst, overcrowding, long queues and so forth. Consequently it
was a very pleasant surprise to find that the lounge was half empty, clean, no queues and with well
stocked and attended food and drink stations. Staff were swift to clear empty plates and glasses and
very pleasant and polite. Given the excellent range of both hot and cold selections for food and
drinks the somewhat worn and tired appearance of carpets and seats could be excused. A very
pleasant experience overall. |

Tehran's new airport (IKA) has one lounge for all premium passengers. Located on the lower level of
the airport, the lounge is spacious yet simple. Alcohol is non-existent (this is Iran!) and the
food is pre-packaged nuts and dry spam rolls. Juices/water/tea selection excellent. The staff (all
male) keep the place running well and there are heaps of magazines/newspapers to read. Not a bad
place to hang out late at night when the upstairs common area is overflowing.

Very nice lounge with lots of space and nice ambience. Located on the first floor with half walls
only that provide an open feeling and a nice overview over the apron. Far better compared to
Emirates Dubai C Class Lounge. Only minus - clean but too small rest room / Shower facilities.
