BKK–DXB (16.10.2012) – we booked our seats in June. When we checked in on our flight back to Dubai, they changed our
seats from 60A/B to 67A/B. Once in the plane, our seats allocated didn’t exist. We were told to stand and wait at the
back of the plane with many other frustrated passengers for about 30minutes. When we asked for an update, we were told
to stand and wait. Eventually, we were told to seat anywhere we like. We picked two window seats with two vacant seats
in front of us. During the flight, we were surprised and astonished to find that crew used the two seats in front of
us to sleep during the flight with both seats reclined as far as possible which caused us trouble viewing the screen.
Is this a common practice within Thai airways for the crew to sleep during flight? This is the first time we traveled
with Thai and based on our experience and the way we were treated would be our last!

Melbourne to Bangkok return. Family of 2 adults and 2 children. Received excellent service from friendly crew
who were efficient. Inflight entertainment was excellent in economy. Seats were comfortable and food trays
cleaner than some airlines we have traveled on. The two meals we had were varied and provided plenty of
food. Drinks were offered numerous times and on-demand, always with a smile. Safety was good. Toilets
were accessible, bit of a wait. Good to have amenities supplied free by airline. Overall would recommend Thai
and use them again, staff were excellent and the service and facilities were very good in economy.

SYD-BKK-ZRH return. FA provided excellent service, nice fruit and caviar, good variety of the In-flight Entertainment,
doona style blankets with under sheet, electric car transfer in BKK. I didn't like the old aircraft, the lack of communication
skills of some staff, badly cooked rice and use of other airlines business class lounges in SYD and ZRH.

BKK to SIN last month. Surprised Thai use the new aircraft on this route, B777-300. The cabin was new, clean
and comfortable. Crew were helpful. The food is good but meal selection is limited. Inflight entertainment
had a good choice even though the flight time was just 2 hours.

SYD-BKKCNX-BKK-SYD. Flew 747-400 on SYD-BKK leg, overall a good flight, cabin staff attentive and friendly,
meal good, seatback entertainment system with large selection and ample leg room. Only real complaint
was the seat which I found uncomfortable as it seemed to have a cross bar in the lumbar support area which
cut into my back. This was alleviated by placing a pillow in the area. I was concerned the return flight might
have had the same issue however return seat was fine on similar aircraft. Return flight, BKK-SYD breakfast
menu could do with a tweak, not the most appetising. BKK-CNX and return flights both with friendly staff,
drink and snack box provided for the one hour flight. No entertainment but not really an issue on such a
short flight. Would definitely fly Thai again.

From Shanghai to Bangkok. The aircraft was old but maintained very well. Served breakfast, half tray, two
choices. Cabin was tidy, crew were helpful. Flight was on time. No IFE system. I really appreciate the Thai
style which made me feel comfortable. Newspaper available near the cabin door during boarding. Toilets were
cleaned during the flight.

SIN-BKK-SIN on their new A380. 18' seat pitch are narrow than SQ's 19'. Outbound flight on upper deck
emergency seat 80B, which is very tight width due to PTV storage. Overhead baggage storage extremely
small space. Flight attendant service was one of the worst on Thai, no smile at all and sometimes rude.
Return flight on lower deck seat 47K which was slightly better width wise. Service was better than outbound.
But I find the economy seats on TG and SQ harder than on their older B777-200. For a short flight, it was ok
but would become very uncomfortable for flight more than 6hrs. Inconsistency in cabin crew service. Food is
still good.

BNE-BKK-CDG and LHR-BKK-BNE. BNE-BKK return in B777-300, BKK-CDG in B777-300ER and LHR-BKK in A340-600. 3 sets of
business seat configurations. No complaints. Seats and flat beds comfortable with at least 8hrs sleep BKK-CDG and
LHR-BKK sectors, and 6hrs BKK-BNE. BNE-BKK was daytime flight so no need to sleep. Good choice of meals and also
IFE. All lounges clean and comfortable. Booked business class using Royal Orchid FF points so definitely value for
money.

Very disappointed with my experience flying with Thai. Leg room was terrible, the seats and the colour scheme of the
whole cabin looked horrendous. I was very disappointed that none of the 4 flights I was on had PTV screens for
entertainment. All there was were if you weren't sitting in a good view of the big screen in the middle row, a tiny TV
showing 2 movies for the 10 hour flight. Staff seemed stressed and grumpy and most had very limited knowledge of
english. The only good thing I can say is that the food was alright, but that's only because I like omelette, which we
got for breakfast on all 4 flights. Comparing this to when I flew with Thai 6 years ago it seems that they have cut
back on most things (food quality, standard upgrading of the cabin, entertainment). Sometimes flying with Thai can be
good (judging by other comments), but in my experience it's not worth the gamble.

Flew from CMB-BKK on 17th September 2012 and returned on 23rd September BKK-CMB. The service of the
flight crew was excellent. I feel that standards have deteriorated. The food wasn't great because there wasn't
much of a choice. The food used to be really good back in the 1980s and 1990s. The interior was clean, but
looked very old. However, it was value for money.

Melbourne to Bangkok return. Flights took off on time. 777-300 clean but felt a little cramped as the flight
was full. Food was reasonable. Flight attendants were friendly for the most part. Inflight entertainment was
good with a selection of movies, television shows and documentaries. Overall, a pleasant experience.

CNX-MEL via BKK. Flight to Melbourne was packed and on a 777-300 which was quite comfortable given I was
in 'cattle class'. Our flight was delayed slightly due to severe storms but the captain kept everyone informed.
Initially, I was dreading this 9 hr flight but it wasn't too bad. Managed to get some sleep and found the
seats quite adequate in terms of space & legroom. Inflight service was good; 2 hot towel wipes given out
and 2 full meals served. Cabin kept replenished with regular water runs by the crew. The AVOD entertainment
system was fantastic and the bathrooms kept clean throughout the flight. I did notice that there were no
amenity kits given out but I had my own supplies. Given I got a really cheap airfare, it was excellent value.

Flight from Moscow to Bangkok return, seat is still very uncomfortable, could be nice to have 100% flat bed
on TG business class. Service was ok from Bangkok to Moscow, nice personal greetings from head of cabin,
didn't have it on the way back. Food and beverage ok, nothing special for biz class. Good entertainment as
long day flight.

SYD-BKK-SYD. Good flights in both directions, with choice of main meals and friendly and attentive service,
as always on Thai. The flight was operated by a B747-400. Flight numbers: TG 476 (SYD-BKK) and TG475
(BKK-SYD). Here's a tip: There is a box (in-flight entertainment gear) fixed to the floor under the seat in
certain rows, which severely restricts leg-room, as you can't stretch out your legs under the seat in front. The
two rows affected are the rows C and H (being the aisle seats closest to the outside of the plane). All other
seats seem OK, having either no IFE box under the seat in front, or just a small version which runs parallel to
the aisle and doesn't restrict the legs. Such things should be indicated on seat-map websites but often are
not. Seat configuration in economy class is 3x4x3, by the way.
