Geneva-Moscow-Geneva. Plane late 30 minutes for the red eye flight, arriving at 3am instead of 2.30am,
aisle seat economy. Food is not too bad. Unfortunately stewardesses dropped condensation from the food
cover on my arm, she apologised profusely, later brings me a little bottle of Prosecco. Cabin is old, seats
are hard. Plane was also late on way back.

Geneva-Prague-return. Small jumbolino plane from Crossair. Better seat comfort than in A320 as seats are
softer. Lousy cheese sandwich with dry bread, how can this be when you leave a Swiss catering point? Got a
coke and a coffee, coke fell on my trousers, no reaction from stewardess. Planes are old and soon they will
remove possibility for silver card holder to go to BC lounges.

16 June 2012. Flight from Zurich to Johannesburg. Despite having requested to be seated with my partner
and having received confirmation from Swiss with seats allocated, we found that we were not seated
together. In the end we managed to be seated together but not where we had been allocated seats. (This is
the second time this happened). Seating on this route is terrible - too narrow, leg room awful and further
restricted by boxes mounted on the floor. When the seat in front is reclined you are in a straight jacket - can
not move and eat with difficulty. Getting in/out of ones seat is difficult and flights are full to the rafters. The
evening meal is nothing to write home about but the breakfast is a shocker and comes in a cardboard box. I
am a frequent traveller and have to find another route to get to my destination.

MAN-ZRH-PEK Economy. ZRH flight was on time, clean A319, warm snack handed out and offered chocolates,
arrived on time but had to be bussed to the terminal, why do airlines always insist on packing these buses
until crammed full? Security/Immigration a breeze, lounge upstairs good but busy. PEK flight 20mins late, as
a *A gold member, got upgraded to Business during boarding which was a nice surprise. Old-ish A343, even
in business class, screens looked dated and poor screen quality. Otherwise, excellent flight, good food/drink,
lie-flat beds you can actually sleep in decent, cabin crew and lots of info and humor from the flight deck.

Brussels - Zurich - Dubai in Business Class (return trip with Lufthansa). Feeder flight from Brussels as good
as can be expected. Transfer in Zurich somewhat complicated, signage lacking in airport, Swiss staff far from
helpful. Flight to Dubai in awkward seating arrangements, chair not very comfortable. Stewardess very
friendly, food ok. The return trip with Lufthansa was a lot better.

Cabin crew behaved as though they were overworked, stressed and tired. Seats offered little leg room and
were uncomfortable. Food was bad, dinner was a choice between chicken with rice or vegetarian pasta. I had
the pasta which was cold and unappealing (bathed in unidentified greasy sauce). The only good thing was
that the flight left and arrived on time. I'll stick with Air Canada from now on.

Florence-Zurich-Dusseldorf and return. Old Avro RJ100 jets for three flights and a nice good A320 for the 4th.
All flight on time with good service, however the food was just ok. Good airport lounges in all three airport.
From Florence LX is in my opinion the best option for connecting flights.

Business Class Hamburg to Delhi. The first leg was on Edelweiss Air which is owned by Swiss. Good for a
European flight, continental breakfast served on China. Zürich airport was a bit disappointing. Long distance
international flights leave from another satellite and the business class lounge there is pathetic. It is run by
Swissport and was crowded, dated, with a poor food selection and below expectation. Probably the actual
Swiss airline lounge is better but it is in the main Schengen area. Surprising that Swiss do not provide better
facilities to long haul customers. The flight from Zürich to Delhi was very good. I had travelled from Delhi to
Europe on Lufthansa and the business class seat is much better than Lufthansa and the food and service was
excellent. It was a long meal service, good for a long-haul day flight but at night would be too long. The
second meal was a bit peculiar with flavour combinations like artichokes, pasta, samosas and meatballs. But
the Vanilla ice cream with chocolate bars was good. The entertainment selection was OK, but less good than
Lufthansa. Generally I found LX better than Lufthansa and British Airways who are my usual carriers. The
standard of service is higher, the food is better and the seat more comfortable. My only real complaint is the
lounge in the long haul satellite in Zürich.

First flight from Lugano to Geneva was delayed due to technical reasons and we had to wait for another plane
1hr and 55 min delay. Then when I got to Geneva my connecting flight to LHR was cancelled. Put on the
next flight, with another 3 hour wait. When I asked about compensation, I was given a voucher for CHF5.00.
What an insult. Never again.

J class flight NBO-ZRH-LHR then LCY-ZRH-NBO. All 4 flights were excellent. Service was very good, the seat
very comfortable on the long haul. Slept a good 5 hours NBO-ZRH. Food was very good. Fresh and tasty.
Selection of wines and drinks also very good. Could not find any real faults. Well done LX.

For the price, the flight was very comfortable and the in flight staff are excellent. The seats are as
comfortable as can be expected and being able to sit with my girlfriend was easily orchestrated. The
terminals are in good repair as well. The top thing for me is that food is good on the flight and there is a
conscious aim to provide meals for all types of diet. Being able to get a good quality vegetarian meal on a
flight is awesome. Bad thing that I can say is that mini-screens for watching inflight entertainment could be
better quality but then again, I am paying to fly thousands of miles and I really should sleep on the flight.
That's a bearable miss.

LHR to ZRH June 2012. Tired looking A320 with tray tables resting in your lap - not premium level
equipment. I moved from row 3 to row 4 to try and get a table that worked but they were the same. Food
was tasty but in micro portions. Seconds of champagne only on request. An average journey and many
airlines in Europe do business class better.

ZRH-FCO return. Uneventful flights. Crew did "their" Job. We left late, but arrived on time. For the fare we
paid it is ok. FCO Airport can be chaotic. I fly with them again.

Zurich-Mumbai-Delhi-Zurich. I took Swiss Airlines after 20 years and was quite disappointed. Seats are just ok, I found them too firm
with poor possibilities for adjustment, headphones without noise cancellation, staff looked to be stressed and not
well organized, top up of champagne and wine only after request. Food on both legs, choice of menu was not
available, I'm not a Swiss Frequent Flyer but hello, I was sitting in the 2nd row. Food quality was okay but very
small portions.

SFO to ZRH was uneventful. Uncomfortable, dated A340. Return flight to SFO was a nightmare. Seated second row
behind bulkhead row. Seated in front of my wife and I were a group of soccer athletes that Swiss decided to offer
alcohol while waiting for flight. This service was continued inflight as the staff hovered and fawned over these
passengers, ignoring the needs of others. The 32" pitch seats of this A340 allowed this group to further
inconvenience behind them. After repeated requests for assistance the flight crew finally asked us to stop
complaining whereupon a loud argument ensued. The video & audio were non-functional.

Recent flight GVA-JFK-GVA. The usual Swiss efficiency and smoothness. Check-in was easy at Geneva and the
over 7 hour flight to New York seemed to pass like a breeze. On the way back managed to easily get an
upgrade to business and sailed through a busy Terminal 4 at JFK. The lounge was a little busy and crowded
as many airlines leave at the same time. Onboard the usual great Swiss hospitality. Good food and the seats
were fully flat, managed to get 3 hours of sleep, very unusual for me. A smooth landing back in Geneva and
quickly through immigration and bag already out. Swiss is one of the few airlines still out there who have not
lost the meaning of "client care".
