Copenhagen-Bangkok return in business. Short dinner service due to late departure, but food
was really good. The seats are good for sleeping but are angled, not proper lie-flat. Second
meal was good, best on the BKK-CPH flight. Staff efficient, check in quick, fast track
security at both airports. Priority luggage arrived first at the baggage claim.

LHR to SVG return. The flight to Stavanger was pleasant, comfortable and well worth the price.
We didn't get meals, but for the price it was worth it. On the way back the flight was okay.
However we began to circle strangely out to sea, and nothing was being said to us. Eventually
(maybe 30 minutes later) the captain said we were awaiting a call from LHR to land. When we
did so the landing was quite bumpy and when we finally taxied in we were kept in our seats for
what seemed to be a long time. Police then stormed the plane and arrested a man. Other
passengers were whispering that the man was caught smoking in the toilets. Goodness knows why
he had to smoke on a 2 hour flight! But other than that I think they were worth the money.

Business Class Bangkok-Copenhagen-Paris returning Dublin-Copenhagen-Bangkok. On all sectors
the flight crews were excellent. On our return leg from Copenhagen the aircraft had to be
changed due to technical reasons after all passengers were boarded. After just over 1 hour
delay we were in the air after a replacement aircraft was brought to the gate. Passengers,
luggage and food had to be unloaded and the loaded again and the new aircraft fuelled. During
the delay the Captain walked amongst passengers explaining and apologising for the delay. The
service, friendliness of flight attendants, and standard of food on all flights was very good.
On the longer legs the sleeper seats were excellent offering plenty of room and comfort. We
will have no hesitation in using SAS when we again fly out from Asia.

Actual flight experience unremarkable, but impressed by ground staff. I was going from Aalborg
to Heathrow via Copenhagen with a short transfer time. After I'd gone through security, I was
called back. Staff explained my flrst flight was going to be delayed and they had rebooked me
on an earlier flight. I guess it's in their interests to do this, to avoid having to put me up
overnight in Copenhagen, but all the same, I was pleasantly surprised that they spotted the
problem and dealt with it efficiently, so I got home to sleep in my own bed.

LHR-OSL. Lounge in LHR very good with excellent showers, good coffee and breakfast choices.
B737-600 in good condition. seats just economy without anyone in the middle seat of the 3,
fine for such a short flight. Excellent food and beverages, comfortable flight, great service.
Would be nice to have a quick check line for customs on arrival Oslo as we ended up at the
back of the line after retrieving our jackets.

ARN-CPH-MAN. The only disappointment was that food and drinks were not free. However, the
selection was quite good. I was almost late for one of my flights and had to run from one end
of the terminal to the other. Seeing that I was in a terrible shape by the time I got on
board the aircraft, a friendly FA offered me a glass of water for free. The cabins in both
aircraft were quite comfortable.

CPH-FRA return in business class. Bag drop was without waiting, and fast track security very
quick. Outbound only two passengers in business class. Very attentive service, and good food.
Return had 4 rows of filled seats on a regional jet. Again very good service, and good meal.
Far better than the Lufthansa offering on the same route.

Copenhagen to London Heathrow. A321 was clean and comfortable. Was impressed with aircraft
cameras under and at front of the plane. The captain spoke excellent English and was
informative throughout. Such a shame that we have to pay for food and drinks. Otherwise SAS
would have been excellent as opposed to just good.

NRT-CPH-ARN-CPH-NRT. NRT-CPH-NRT sectors on A340-300. In economy class the service was on par
with most other airlines and food was decent. Disappointingly on CPH-NRT sector a mid-flight
snack was never served but crew was diligent in walking the cabin with water. IFE in economy
is not AVOD and selection of movies is limited. A good airline connecting Tokyo to Northern
Europe and CPH is an easy hub to transfer through. However, SAS recommended 1 hr connections
that are typical in CPH are great when schedules are on-time but can lead to delayed luggage
if there's a bit of a delay.

CPH-BKK. One word to describe SAS - mediocre. Food was tasteless/unappetizing and bathrooms
were dirty with wet floor. Flight attendants couldn't care less about the cleanliness of the
cabin. Inflight duty-free selection and prices a joke. Inflight entertainment focused on
children's preferences, nothing for adults.

Dublin-Bangkok via Copenhagen. business class. the 1 hour connection time on this service is
dodgy. I missed my connection to Bangkok because of a 2 hour delay in the Dublin departure. I
had to overnight in Copenhagen and was routed with Thai via Oslo the following day. The
seating and service on Thai was ok. The return service from Bangkok was very poor - business
class seat on SAS to Copenhagen was one of the worst I have encountered. It was obvious the
crew have experienced many complaints from passengers as the cabin attendent kept saying to me
that they only service the cabin and had nothing to do with the poor seats They encouraged me
to write to SAS about the bad seating. There were only 2 toilets available for 54 business
class passengers and I had to queue for over 45 minutes to use a toilet before landing.
Toilets at the front were kept for the exclusive use of the crew. When they saw that many
people were trying to use the toilets 1 hour before landing they did nothing to alleviate the
situation by making the toilets at the front available. Shocking selfish behaviour by a crew
that had obviously grown weary and bored with long haul travel. Would not use SAS again as
they don't come anywhere near the standards of other carriers in the star alliance.

OSL-ZRH B738 code-shared with Swiss. Aircraft very dirty. No IFE. Relatively expensive Buy on
board catering which is bothersome because I was a LX passenger and I paid for a full service
airline! Despite that, FAs were quite nice. It was a nice flight but in-flight catering was
disapointing. On-line check-in was very good. Ground staff was very helpful.

Frankfurt to Copenhagen. They should try and emulate Lufthansa when it comes to onboard
service, and not having to pay for drinks. Also, they never put the air conditioning on until
the doors are closed. All passengers sit there sweltering.

Reasonable airline but was better ten years ago. My first trip on a flag carrier which charges
for water and sandwiches. Water is basic in the dry air environment of airlines. Just too
complicated if the cabin staff has to organise the payment of a cup of water. What's next?

MAN-CPH-NRT return. I looked for a good deal on business class as I hate long haul economy.
SAS had a good deal and the timing was good. Short haul as you'd expect - the A340 seats were
comfortable (but not as easy to sleep in as a 'cosy' economy seat), food excellent and FAs
just right. IFE not that great - fixed screen and limited choice of films. A pleasant ride and
worth the extra cost.

Booked TLL-CPH-NRT return, TLL-CPH would have been via their codeshare partner (partly owned
by SAS). Had to cancel and was told I'd receive 40% of the original price back within a week.
Received some of it as expected, e-mailed them about the delay and was ignored. After calling,
they told me to call another number and then another one. Finally got someone when calling
their toll number, the CS person told me since the codeshare provider doesn't return the fuel
surcharge and the previous CS girl made a mistake, I was out of luck. After I was told to
"try" their Polish customer relations form, I got a reply promptly and the rest of the funds
returned as promised. This was 3 months after cancellation, numerous phone calls and money
spent on their toll numbers to get it resolved. If you can at all, don't use their services in
Estonia - incompetent representatives will just waste your time.

STV-LHR-STV. I have been flying from Norway to UK for the last 31 years, mostly with SAS as
they have monopolised most routes. Over time, I have witnessed SAS service drop from being one
of the best in Europe to possible be in the bottom 3 or 4 of national airlines. Scandanavians
are used to paying high prices and seem to equate price to quality - the expression "you get
what you pay for" is typical and SAS have used this to the effect that their customers will
think that by paying more they are getting more when in fact the opposite is true.

FRA-ARN-LED and return in Economy. Very personal and friendly service. Very experienced staff,
not so robot like as on some other airlines. Food and drinks for sale at reasonable prices,
very tasty.

LBA-OSL via BRU. BRU-OSL return sector was with SAS. Busy flight and seat changed at my
request just as boarding started - no complaints from staff at boarding gate for doing this.
Flight busy but comfortable. Cabin crew offered free tea or coffee - out of the ordinary for
this carrier as they normally charge about £2 for this service. Smiling crew and friendly
service. OSL-BRU was fine, no free tea or coffee this time. Reluctantly gave pax in front of
me some free water - "we don't do this normally"! Multi-lingual crew professional. Would use
again for the price paid.

London - Oslo - London. The aircraft was clean, but seat pitch not good - seat pitch on
Norwegian B737-800 was better. SAS didn't provide any drink or food free on the flight. I had
to pay to get some water - rather strange. The crew was cold, and as soon as they finished
selling drinks and food they disappeared behind the curtain in front of the galley for almost
the rest of the flight. The service on board has really gone downhill since last time I flew
SAS 5 years ago.

Brussels Zaventem to Copenhagen Economy return. Bombardier Regional Jet 200, with decent
seats. Web check-in, no free meal in economy (something I do not care about). SAS was
punctual, the plane was good, check-in machines in Copenhagen are very good and plenty, so
that is all we want.

I have flown several times on SAS, and not enjoyed it at all. I find it unacceptable that
everything you might wish to eat or drink on SAS costs. I was on a Lufthansa codeshare flight,
and if Lufthansa can provide free drinks and meals, why not SAS? After all, it was an
international flight. On my outbound I had a ticket and was seated in W class and received my
750 miles from Lufthansa. On my inbound, on the same route, I was on a Lufthansa codeshare,
under a Lufthansa flight number, but was on an SAS machine. In spite of being issued a ticket
by Lufthasa in W class, I received a K class seat and 125 miles. I will not even lament not
being able to earn any Miles-and-More miles on Norwegian flights operated by SAS. In my
opinion, SAS should be kicked out of the Star Alliance.

CPH-LUX and CDG-CPH. The first leg was flown in new CRJ900, seats were quite comfortable with
enough legroom. Food and drinks (even water!) was for purchase - rather odd experience
considering that this is the national flag carrier of three nations. It really felt like an
expensive low cost airline. The return leg was in an A319, seats comfortable.

Stockholm - O'Hare - Stockholm, 2 Adults, 3 Children, 1 Infant. Great functional service.
Managed to reserve bulkhead bassinets for both legs. Children's food selection fantastic. Toys
and attentive service (particularly on return leg which was not full). SAS waved us through
security at the gate (intelligent profiling?). Excellent fare through consolidator. Would
recommend using O'Hare as a hub for SAS as its northern location doesn't seem to add much
journey time and it has much better connections than Newark.

SAS is on a steady course downhill. I am an SAS/Star Alliance gold card holder for 11
consecutive years. I travel to Berlin 4-5 times a year, always with SAS. One of the reasons
for my choosing SAS has been that I have always been able to get out to Tegel when my business
in the city is finished and thus be able to work in the lounge. Now, without SAS even
informing its customers, the Lufthansa first class check-in is no longer available if you are
flying SAS, which means that you cannot get a boarding card there and thus cannot enter the
lounge. However, the first-class check-in carries the Star Gold logo. It´s just SAS
customers that yare treated as second class passengers within Star Alliance. Terminal D, where
the SAS check-in is located has less than 20 seats for waiting passengers. Web check-in? No,
no. Not SAS in Berlin. Considering that I even have to pay for a glass of water when flying
SAS, I am just waiting for the final collapse of this once very good airline. It will not be
missed. Air Berlin, here I come!

LCY-ARN (operated by Cimber Sterling). City airport is a great start to the journey, and all
formalities were completed in minutes. This flight on ATR 42 had just 19 passengers, which is
probably why SAS are pulling it later this month. Very attentive, personalised service from
the single flight attendant (little things like she put the catering items for sale on a tray
and carried them around to each passenger to inspect), comfortable seats and on time. A great
flight. ARN-LHR with SAS, B737-600 seemed new, seat pitch poor. Flight attendants were in
great spirits and very welcoming. The purser came through handing out toys to any children.
The only downside is the weird three-class system of Business, Eco Extra and Economy, all on
the same seats. Buy on board food in Y is dear too, but the options are of high quality.
