"seats so small and with less cushion"

(United Kingdom)

Trip Verified | What business class? There is none. Same seats and same cabin and same toilets. Like economy. The seats so small and with less cushion that it was painful for a 5 hour flight.

"all I got was a cattle class seat"

(Australia)

Trip Verified | I paid a premium to get leg room and all I got was a cattle class seat with my knees wedged into the back of the seat in front and a "free" meal in a cardboard box. One expensive meal that was! There was not even an empty seat in row 3, which is usually the case when using the front of the plane for premium. Just my wife, myself, and a stranger, crammed into three narrow seats. There were none of the other onboard courtesies normally afforded premium passengers, such a priority boarding or deplaning. The crew were pleasant enough, though nothing outstanding. There were WiFi connection cards in the seat pockets, but the plane was old and had no WiFi We did enjoy access to the lounge. Given CPH is one of SAS's home ports the lounge was far from resplendent. The food selection was minimal, nothing typically Scandinavian. Soup, salad, one beer, coffee, no deserts. I had to wait 10 minutes for a young man to stop fiddling in the kitchen and bring me a soup spoon.

"the most uncomfortable seat"

(United States)

Trip Verified | Unbelievably disappointed. So long as this seat design exists I will never travel with SAS again. I buy premium economy seats when I travel with family. I’ve flown on dozens of different airlines all over the world. I don’t buy business on family trips because of one very specific reason, the lift up hand rests. The ability to open up horizontal space and snuggle with my significant other is essential. These seats suck. They are as narrow as domestic economy, and they have massive thick metal barriers between each seat that cram you in. This is hands down the most uncomfortable seat I’ve flown on in years. What a joke.

"satisfied with the latest slimline seat"

(Germany)

Trip Verified | I‘m very satisfied with the latest slimline seat at SAS. It feels more comfortable than Lufthansa‘s and has a better legroom. All of them have an USB-Port, seat pockets and a large tray table.

"not a bad experience"

(Norway)

Trip Verified | This 737-700 must have been one of the older 737NGs in their fleet due to it not having an Built in USB port or WiFi which is almost standard on their fleet by now. it had the new seats with the dark grey cover with decent legroom, good pitch, good seat width and a nicely sized tray table. It felt like you had good space in the aisle when standing there. Good seat storage was able to fit my essentials in the seat pocket and not needing to think about getting up mid flight to get my backpack and bring those out. Overall not a bad experience.

"seat looked slightly worn"

(United Kingdom)

Verified Review | Flying on an SAS A319. The flight was 3 hours and 45 minutes from Malaga (AGP) to Copenhagen (CPH). To start off, the seat looked slightly worn and the blue colour was fading hence making it look dull. The seat was comfortable and well padded. The leg room was just about sufficient (I am 6'2) but towards the end of the flight I was beginning to get slightly agitated. The seat recline was poor with very little being done by pressing the button on the arm rest. The seat width was okay, average for a short haul aircraft, but it sufficed. The tray table was sturdy and a good size. There was no seat back entertainment, however there was not even an over head entertainment screen with a map, which I was a little dis-heartened by. I was most annoyed, though, as there was not even any wifi connectivity to purchase. The seats did not feature in-seat power either and my phone ran out of battery an hour before landing, which was frustrating. The aisle was a good size and width and you could easily pass others in it. There was a lot of storage both under the seat and in the overhead bin. The seat was old but sufficed for the trip. Some aspects represented those of budget airlines but overall it was okay.

"didn't feel any discomfort"

(Singapore)

Old model of Boeing 737 aircraft, no entertainment system, but at least with power supply, luckily the seat still well maintain, and the recliner still work, legroom enough for me! Surprisingly I didn't feel any discomfort.

"compressed seat pitch"

(United States)

Premium Economy is somewhat of a misnomer, as I flew in the SAS Plus seating area. Same coach seat (SAS uses thinline seats that have minimal padding. No blocked middle seat. The pluses were my seat was up front (row 2), the snacks were free, and I had access to a lounge in Oslo. SAS crams more than 140 seats into its 73G aircraft. Start off with compressed seat pitch coupled with thinline seats. Then eliminate the forward coat closet. And finally, best of all, eliminate the forward lav. That's right - on a plane with more than 140 seats, there are only two lavs, both in the rear of the plane. When the carts are in the aisle, forget about answering nature's call. I should add that there is no wifi on the 73G, nor is there any audio or video - nothing to keep you entertained other than staring at the head of the person in front of you. I suppose that for a 90-minute flight the seats are something you can tolerate. And the cost of the Plus ticket wasn't as bad as paying for the blocked seat Business Class product KLM and BA use.

SAS Plus Premium Economy with upgraded A330 is very good. Flew Stockholm to New York on October 12 in SAS Plus. It was with the new cabin. Very good service. Good legroom and a good range of entertainment.

"best economy seats I have experienced"

(Belgium)

Best economy seats I have experienced in a long time. The entertainment box under the seat is gone, leaving room for a full stretch of my legs and I am fairly tall. I was in a middle seat. All in all a good and big improvement from the old economy seat.
