My first SAS flight with a wheelchair. I went to Aberdeen and back to Stuttgart. Before every flight I got a wrong
label on my wheelchair, so that it was not there when I arrived in Copenhagen. On both flights all the crew stayed
with me until things had been sorted and the special assistance people arrived. I consider this real 1st class service
and I really appreciate this.

We flew SAS from Malta to Stockholm Arlanda. We departed on time and arrived 20 mins early. Onboard service is
basic. No inflight entertainment and we had to pay for snacks and beverages. Cabin attendants were friendly and
helpful. My companion came down with a headache and the cabin attendants were concerned and sympathetic.
They provided him with pillows and free water and offered him aspirin. They were really quite lovely. So, though
you don't get much, the staff are welcoming and attentive and the fare was quite cheap.

STO-CPH. This flight was Economy on a B737, so comfort is limited at best. We were in the middle of a two-week
vacation and had 2 checked bags each. The baggage charge was as much as the ticket price. What rankles is
having to pay for a cup of coffee. The flight was fine, no delays or issues. I'm glad I didn't pay for "Premium
Economy" which consisted of the exact same seats up front without even a curtain to separate the service levels.

GVA-CPH in an old but well-maintained MD-87. easyJet also operate this route and the prices are usually about
the same. Service is very similar but with SAS, luggage is included, there is a little more leg-room, there are more
FA's per pax (4 on my flight) and the experience was more relaxed. Also their on-time record is a lot better. They
gave out free newspapers but only in Danish. With no free food or drinks and no IFE, SAS is not in the same league
as SWISS or British Airways and is only marginally better than easyJet. However, as long as the prices are about
the same, you can't complain. It's not worth paying a Premium for, however. Norwegian also operate this route
on a seasonal basis - as they have some IFE and are rolling out wifi that is free at least provisionally, they may be
a better bet.

I flew on SK0972 from Bangkok-Copenhagen on Airbus A340-300. Night flight Seat 46B. The crew rest area
occupying Row 43 to 46 on right looked very different. Non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary but they charge for
alcohol beverage. Food is ordinary. Service is OK. Nothing special. Entertainment selection was limited but OK.
Flight itself was comfortable. Arrived on time.

SAS Economy Extra from Stockholm ARN-Chicago. Except from wider seats
in Economy Extra (compared from Economy) I didn't feel I got something
"extra". I was flying SWISS longhaul in Feb in Economy and got the same
in-flight-service as I got in SAS Economy Extra.

Flight Copenhagen to Zurich in economy. Honestly horrible. How can an
airline charge for a glass of water? This is only one short step away
from a fee for toilet use. This SAS flight was part of round trip, the
first half being on LX. What a difference! LX not only offered the
usual free drinks, but a sandwich as well. Will never fly SAS again.

VCE-CPH-BKK. VCE-CPH 30 mins late departing because of some issue of passenger numbers.
Cabin service started late into flight and then very rushed and bossy. Transit in CPH
most unpleasant as SAS advertised widely their Business Lounge access to Economy Extra
passengers when travelling on to Asia. When we sought entry we were told to get lost in
no uncertain terms "Lounge is only for Business Class tickets'. When we asked the
receptionist to look up the SAS web page she refused and told us that the Lounge was
operated by an entirely separate company to the airline. Case for complaint to EU
authorities. Flight from CPH-BKK reasonable for a budget airline with the service for Economy
Extra the same as Economy.

ZRH-ARD-ORD. This is the 2nd time that I fly business class over the Atlantic with SAS.
Never again. The 1st time the experience was bad: rude staff, old seats, poor entertainment,
below average food - but I decided to give them a second chance. This time around was just as
bad. Staff just do not care. Everything you ask is too much trouble. Food is not good, seat was
worn out and dirty. The only positive is the punctuality and the ease of transfer in Stockholm.

Heathrow to Stavanger Economy - to find signs on seats referring to Economy Plus? Five rows of
approx 20 passengers were ignored in "Economy seats" not even offered a glass of free water.
$5.00 for a cup of coffee, rude cabin crew - what is happening to standards? As a Norwegian I
am appalled at the way this airline is operating - our experience will mean no more trips on
SAS. Even our 1.5 hr trips within Canada offer free tea/coffee & cookies.

ZRH-CP. MD82. Bulkhead seat with good legroom. Male FAs friendly, females a mixed bag. Some
friendly, some simply hate their job. Selection is ok and prices ok. However if one books this
flight as LX flight and then have to buy onboard, I would be very disappointed that nothing is
for free. FA offered water top up for my tea! Check-in easy and quick. It is definitely not a
legacy carrier experience. More a posh looking low-cost airline.

Amsterdam to Copenhagen, MD-82 old aircraft, service was simple, just coffee and tea. CPH to
Gothenburg almost the same. Male cabin crew were friendly, female cabin crew were worse.

Ireland to Tokyo with SAS. The flight was awful - ten hours long and so cramped that we
couldn't sleep. When we requested eye masks we were refused. When I asked for some tissue with
my meal, the flight attendant grabbed the cloth from the headrest in front and gave it to me as
tissue. The entertainment was inadequate, when you choose a film, you can't watch it from the
beginning - just played on a loop. I will never fly with SAS again. I can't understand how they
have a three star rating. The only positive thing I can say about SAS is that they are very
punctual and our transfers always went smoothly.

Poznan to Birmingham via Copenhagen. The first leg was a codeshare flight with Cimber Sterling
on old CRJ-200 jet. The interior was small and there was only one flight attendant. Business
and premium-economy passengers sat in same seats as everyone else and there was no curtain
division (just signs). The only difference was that they got meals and the rest of the
passengers didn't. At least Cimber Sterling did offer a small glass of water (we didn't get
anything on the 2nd leg). The 2nd flight was flown with SAS on a more modern CRJ-900
and you can see the difference. Great legroom, large windows and a more modern feel. The
downside was the zero lack of non-purchased food. On a plus side, both flights arrived early
and the 3hr 30 mins stopover time in Copenhagen allowed me plenty of time to actually venture
into this beautiful city.

LHR-ARN-LHR. Flights ok and crew pleasant, but to have to buy everything (even water) on a
supposedly non-budget airline is a joke. Delayed coming back due to gate staff mis-counting and
losing a passenger during the chaos of a boarding process. Cramped cabin with very poor air-
conditioning made for a pretty dire return flight.

Copenhagen-Washington DC (IAD) in economy return. I have never been a big fan of this airline,
but I usually find SAS flights within Europe to be on par with its competitors. However, on
long-haul flights, I think SAS is long past its peak. For instance, most carriers offer AVOD
in all cabins, but SAS that claims to be "innovative" does not offer such a service in economy.
Therefore, there is no way to watch more than one full-length movie, since you do not know when
other movies start. The main dinner option of chicken with sauce bearnaise on my way to
Washington did not sound too appealing to me, so I kindly asked if I could have one of the
leftover fish portions they also had on the trolley. I was told that they could make an
exception, and that I should be ever so grateful for their kindness. Going back, the check-in
experience at Dulles left a great deal to be desired. In conclusion, it all comes down to
attitude and having focus on the customer. SAS long-haul seems to be something that will die of
natural causes in a few years time, simply because there are many others that do it
considerably better and with a much more customer-focused approach.

LHR-ARN MD-80 aircraft. Flight boarded on-time. Very tight seating on MD-80. Armrests only
come up 45 degrees and are thick - never felt squashed with seat width, but did on this plane.
Long taxi and wait to take off but typical of Heathrow. Friendly FAs - buy-on-board but didn't
purchase any food. Flight was full in coach, maybe 40% full in Business. Arrived on time and
would try them again if on Airbus or B737.

LHR-ARN. Quick boarding, newer plane but legroom was atrocious. The most appalling is that no
free beverages are offered to economy class passengers! A Star Alliance member that's really
a no-frills airline.

CPH–NRT Premium economy outbound, business return. Outbound service was good with plenty of
food and drinks on offer. Armrests weren’t as wide as Virgin premium, but not an issue as no
one was next to me. Selection of films was reasonable, could have been wider but I was kept
entertained. A good product against other premium economy I have flown. Return on Business
was good. Staff friendly and service was very good, also with matching wines for food, etc.
Obviously no lie flat bed. It was nice to have the self service bar/snack area. It was
better than a few 4 star airlines business offerings in my opinion.

IAD-GOT via CPH with SAS. A340/A330 and MD80. All flights on time and baggage arrived in
good shape. Food lousy but flight attendants courteous, with good service. Planes seem to be
in good order, seats were of good comfort.

KKN-OSL all economy and OSL-LHR business class, B737 both legs. 2 check in counters only at
KKN but reasonably quick. However, agent did not inform us that the flight was late by about
35 minutes. I only noticed the new time on the TV screen after I was airside. I had about 1h
40m at OSL, so 40 minutes delay was no issue. SK the ground handling agent for DY which
became a problem. DY has a KKN-OSL flight leaving at 12 noon. SK simply did not have the
manpower to handle two flights boarding at the same time! We had to wait until the boarding
of DY flight was completed, then the same SK staff walked from the DY gate to the SK gate to
board the flight. So we left KKN about an hour late. No information such as gate no of my
OSL-LHR flight available onboard - simply told to contact SK ground staff on arrival at OSL.
On arrival very little assistance available to direct me to the LHR flight. Inflight KKN-OSL,
very basic Buy On Board with complimentary coffee or tea. Reasonable interior condition with
some wear and tear. Made it to the gate of the LHR flight with 20 minutes to spare. Boarding
had begun and the agent at KKN forgot to scan our passport. Interior is typical European
business class with same economy seat and middle seat blocked. The cabin was in reasonably
good condition, no IFE on both flights. Drink service followed by a hot meal in business
class - no choice. Flight attendants were generally pleasant. On landing at LHR, no landing
card was handed out. I had to ask the FA for one and more importantly no Fast Track for
business class passengers! This was bad and as I did not hold a UK or EU passport, I was
stuck in the immigration queue for almost an hour. Overall, both flights were okay but the
lack of Fast Track at LHR was sufficient reason to not to fly them again.

KKN-OSL-ARN in economy in March. Very old planes (still ashtrays) and cramped seating. A cup
of coffee is free on Norwegian domestic flights but nothing on European. SAS is more like LCC
nowadays.

DUS-CPH-NRT in Business. Very clean and nice cabin on 340-300. Great FAs on intercontinental
legs. Food best I had in Business. Beautiful choice of desserts. Nice little bar with drinks
and snacks. Can definitely compete with 4 star airlines. Seat angled flat but ok. Very
pleasant as well are the good deals they offer.

BRU-BKK via CPH Business, a very pleasant experience for our family of 3. Friendly airline
for traveling with a child who always get a generous toy bag on each flight. The easy "fast-
track" security/immigration check was a plus at Bangkok airport. CPH lounge has a well
equipped play area for kids, also free wifi service and decent snacks and drinks. Crews were
friendly and accommodating on all flights except for 1 or 2 individuals (on long hauls) whom
patience with customers are clearly wearing thin. Food was more than acceptable and drinks
flew freely. The buffet corner was very handy. Competitive pricing on business class will be
the main reason for us to fly SAS to Asia again.
