SIN-BKK-SIN. Both flights on B737, planes old but clean, right on time, fantastic value. The
system randomly allocates seats so if you're a family on one booking, seating maybe separated,
and was told since we didn't purchase the seats, even the check-in counter wasn't able to
reassign, could only swap once onboard. The seat shown during online check-in will be THE seat
as far as the system is concerned, so don't be too upset if you don't get to sit together, get
the FAs to arrange.

KUL-LGK return. Because this is a no frills airline, they provide quick and smooth boarding,
with short standby times. Airplanes are pretty new and reasonably clean, but freezing cold:
make sure you have a warm jumper with you! Both flights on time. They offer a quite good
choice of hot/cold refreshments and food, to by purchased only. If needed, you can also buy
bus tickets to KL Sentral (9 myr oneway; about 1 hour journey.) The only aspect we didn't like
is that staff, otherwise very helpful and smiling, is too "rock'n'roll" with is bright red or
black uniforms, lots of makeup, cool jewellery and messy hair. They don't seem fly attendants
at all, and you wonder if they are properly trained.

DPS-JHB in A320. Aircraft immaculate, cabin crew friendly, flight on time. Pre-paid meal
(Vegetarian Nasi Lemak) delicious. On landing, luggage was delivered promptly. JHB airport
was a bit of a mess due to reconstruction, but can't blame the airline for that. Very
impressed with Air Asia, my only suggestion for improvement is with the announcements - the
safety demo was a bit rushed, and some announcements were a bit difficult to hear.

KUL-CAN. Flight check in at LCCT a mess, same for the boarding. Overcrowded. Witness people
boarding the wrong plane at the tarmac as no signage or staff to guide. Flight was delayed for
45 minutes as explained by the cockpit in flight due to the previous flight delay. A320 clean
and tidy with friendly cabin crew. Requested a hot meal onboard but was forgotten until I
reminded crew again. Seat was not the most comfortable for the close to 4hr flight. Due to
H1N1, the plane was fumed with antiseptic while passengers were onboard 5 min prior landing as
requested by Chinese authorities. Arrived Guangzhou 1hr late. Uses aerobridges at CAN. Overall
was a pleasant flight and Air Asia did a great job for the fare I have paid. Would fly Air
Asia on shorter flights again, but would fly full-service flight for longer journey like this
one next time.

I fly with Air Asia a lot and fortunately am able to deal with delays which occur frequently
especially the Bangkok - Chiang Mai route. I know that they will never have enough food on
board so prefer to eat beforehand or after my flight. Basically you get what you pay for, and
this suits me just fine.

SZX-BKK. They are cheap and online booking is quick and efficient. However, on the 6-7 times
I've done this route, they have never taken off less than 20 mins later than scheduled 23.20.
Latest trip, 45 mins late with no word of apology and/or explanation. Previous trip, no hot
food available - perhaps they didn't realise there might be passengers on their return run
from BKK? Will continue to use them as price is rarely beaten, but would be wary on any trip
longer than 2-3 hrs as leg room for average-sized Westerners is very cramped.

MFM-BKI. Plane newish, clean. Boarded plane on tarmac but didn't have to take a bus to get to
the plane which was a plus. On-time flight good. Seats comfortable, prices reasonable. The
only thing I don't like about Air Asia is that they often do not use jetways so it's
inconvenient getting on/off the plane.

Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani Have used this service return on 4 or 5 occasions and have found
the service first class for a budget airline. One thing to warn people about is the luggage
allowance which is only 15kg for internal flights. Will continue to use Air Asia for any
internal flights in Thailand

Bangkok to Phuket and Krabi to Bangkok.New A320's immaculate. Service onboard is excellent,
drinks and food very reasonably priced. Assigned seats and speedy no fuss boarding are
excellent for a low cost airline. Despite a 2 hour delay at Krabi, aircraft was turned around
in 15 minutes from arriving to departure! Due to the delay, we also got free refreshments in
the airport provided by the airline. This airline represents exceptional value for money,
excellent cabin crews and brand new planes.

BKK-KUL return. I was impressed with appearance and service during check in staff at BKK
airport. FAs were all professional, did an excellent job even though Air Asia is a budget
airline. I have to say that food served on board wasnt that good. I encountered only one
unpleasantness - disinterested check in staff in KL's LCCT. During the whole process she had
muttered only one word, 'Passport'. As she handed me my boarding pass with one hand, the other
was holding a bottle of water, she turned her head away to take a sip. Such behaviour
contradicted the announcement of their award onboard the plane
