"without windows to look out"
1 reviews Robert Simon (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | I had a four hour layover in Nadi as I flew between Australia and California. It was welcome respite and I enjoyed use of the shower to freshen up. The lounge was very nicely appointed, well staffed and had a separate glassed off area of children so that they could run around, play, be loud but not disturb the adults. This was wonderful for both children and adults! Internet connectivity was excellent although the ready availability of plugs and power was less than I'm used to in airline lounges. Nevertheless, I was able to find power and settle into a comfortable cubby which allowed me to sit, lay and lounge. The food choices, although not hugely extensive, were more extensive than is typically the case for domestic American airlines. Everything was tasty although some of the items were a bit heavy on grease and fat for my preference. The beverage service was outstanding with availability of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices. The lounge was clean and kept continually clean by an attentive and smiling staff. The only significant drawback of this lounge from my point of view is that on beautiful Fiji, the lounge is under ground and without windows to look out. This was compensated for to some degree by the decor and by large walls that had live plants on them. Nevertheless, it would have been great to be able to look out on the tropical environment and sunshine.

"best lounge offered"
Brad Shefferly (United States)
The Qantas lounge is great with wine selection, two hot entrees, two salads, snacks and deserts to choose from. Full bar, 2 televisions, and comfortable seating. They even had a shower! This was the best lounge offered by Fiji Airways and a fantastic way to start my return journey.

"great place to wait"
Brad Shefferly (United States)
Fiji Airways use a shared lounge with Philippine Airlines and others at LAX, overlooking the busy international terminal. The food wasn't fresh - no hot offerings, but the people were nice. It was a great place to wait for a flight. LAX has done a good job with the new terminal.

"they were out of towels"
Brad Shefferly (United States)
After an overnight international flight, I really wanted a shower at this Fiji Airways lounge. I had a 4 hour layover and was told they were out of towels and more would arrive by 8am. My flight left at 930am, and the towels had still not arrived. There was limited food - a coffee machine worked on the outbound, but not on the return. Better food selections in the evening on my return.
