Not Verified | Due to a mechanical fault, the plane that landed was too small for all of the passengers, So the ground staff at Nevsehir had to work really hard to deal with about 30 people who could not fit. The 4 staff in this small office tried so hard to identify the most urgent passengers who had connecting flights, then they prioritised everyone. The staff were faced with 30 passengers who all thought they were the most important person in the airport. We did not have a connecting flight and were lower priority. So the team arranged for about 20 of us to be bussed to nearby Kayseri airport, our flight was going to be 8 hours later than expected. So the ground staff refunded the cost of our flight, not once but twice. We were able to collect the money from a counter at the airport immediately, then we were upgraded to Business class, which meant we were able to sit in quiet and cool comfort while we waited. Then on the flight we were very impressed with the food and service and priority baggage service. I know the fault was not due to the ground staff, but they really tried hard and were very successful at getting people through to their connecting flights and what they offered us really helped ease the pain of our delay. I am really impressed with the 4 people in that small office, I wish I da their names to thank them personally. I highly recommend flying with Turkish Airways after this experience.
