"most despicable flight experience"

Trip Verified | After a week of safari we went to Kilimanjaro for a flight to Zanzibar to end our vacation. This flight was booked earlier this year around January - February. Initially the flight would be at 11:00 AM so that we could have half a day at Zanzibar already. Shortly after we booked the the departure time changed to 15:40. These things happen, and in a matter of fact the communication about this was like its supposed to be. Last week when we should have take the flight we arrived around 14:00 at the airport. The first sign that something was wrong was the fact that out flight was not on the departure board. When we entered the airport and went to check in we were told that our flight was delayed until 22;30. The manner in which the precision air employees were conducting themselves to us was annoying and not very nice. We were transferred to de KIA Lodge on the airport to overstay the day. This was actually quite well organized. We had a nice and relaxed stay there. Furthermore the cost we made we could get back at the counter on the airport. We were brought back to the airport at 20:00. That’s were the real trouble started. The check in went very very slow. This can happen of course. However there were 4 or 5 Precision Air Employees doing NOTHING. Absolutely nothing! After we checked in our bags we went to get out refund from the cost that we made. The floor manager of Precision Air was dealing with this. This guy was really trying to attend to all the passengers needs. He worked really hard to try to make the situation better. And he was the only one who did that. However, all the passenger took notice of this managers hard work. So everyone was coming to him with their request and problems. Because non of the other employees stood up and helped him. It was quite the display. And that’s when the passengers got more and more annoyed. We were eventually told by the manager to wait until boarding time with our refund request. We did that and went to the gate to wait for our flight. Then we waited for 3 hours without any form of communication about the flight. There was no plane at 22:30 to take us to Zanzibar. No information and no communication by the employees. When questions got hard for them they ignored you or they sent you to the only working guy: the floor manager. After a while he was the one who told us that our flight would eventually depart at 00:30 PM. He also got us our refund. So i really appreciate his work ethic towards the customers. This was the most despicable flight experience ever! I would never recommend Precision Air! Ever. The people in charge should be ashamed. Except for the floor manager. Take my free advice! Don’t fool yourself, don’t take a flight.

"first and last time for us flying Precision Air"

Trip Verified | The flight from Zanzibar to Arusha was rerouted to Kilimanjaro because of the weather, did cost extra time and money to come to Arusha but okay. The flight back had a delay of about 2 hours but still, that can happen I guess. But my biggest problem was the flight itself. On the flight back from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar there were two guys next to me who were breaking a lot of safety rules and the cabin crew and pilot that walked by did not seem to care? They were vaping the whole flight, playing loud music on speaker and on their phone calling somebody during take off. They didn’t want to put their seat up during take-off and landing, still nobody cared. That will be the reason this was a first and last time for us flying Precision Air!

"Absolutely preposterous"

Trip Verified | Absolutely preposterous. I am baffled. Aghast, even. To have the audacity to call oneself “Precision” Air, when one is not precise in the slightest. The first time one tries flying “Precision” Air, one is met with an eight hour long delay, only then to be flown out by a different airline. As for for the aircraft, it was abysmally small. Not to mention there were no washrooms in the aircraft. As for the entrance, there was only a tiny one in the back. And don’t even get one started on the incident, calamity, even, of when a Precision Air flight landed precisely in Lake Victoria. All in all one would give Precision Air a solid -1 out of 10.

"Customer service is non-existent"

Not Verified | Most unreliable airline I know. Customer service is non-existent. Flight delays and cancelations left and ride, and ground staff has no clue of what's going on.

"worst experience of an airline"

Not Verified | Possibly my worst experience of an airline in nearly 50 years of air travel. I suggest booking with any other airline! If you have to fly with this company, do not check in any baggage because it is unlikely to arrive at your destination when you do. Two flights within a week and both managed to "lose" my bags - on the second flight, no luggage at all was carried for any of the passengers. Customer service is extremely slow and totally disinterested - it's probably not even worth complaining!

"penalty more than the cost original ticket"

Trip Verified | Booked Precision Air via Travelgenio and paid extra to be able to change dates. When I requested to change dates both precision air and Travelgenio are asking me to pay a penalty more than the cost original ticket. They don’t want to refund or adjust dates. Will never recommend both or fly them in the future.

"Bad customer service"

Trip Verified | Bad customer service. I ended up not boarding after rebooking my international flight. I emailed customer service a couple of days later for a partial refund. Initially I was pleased after I received a quick response. I was told I was to receive a refund but had to wait about 3 weeks for them to process it. I emailed them 4 weeks later after nothing had happened and two times later on. I neither received any response from them nor got my partial refund. Honestly, I call that stealing.
