I realize terminal 2 in undergoing a refit but the terminal is an embarrassment. Long line ups for packaged sandwiches and a line up for even for the men's washroom. A lack of seating made getting out of this terminal a blessing.

It is hard to imagine that one of the nations worst airports could get worse but it has happened. Management of security at the International Terminal is simply awful. Lanes for business and first class - closed. TSA people standing around oblivious. Naturally the queues were huge. This at 9 am. One never expects TSA to perform well. But they have taken indolence to a whole new level. Adding to the irony are signs all around trumpeting how wonderful LAX will be. Maybe a bit less attention spent to the shopping mall and more to expediting the passenger experience will help.

Terminal 2. Hard to believe that an international departure lounge has so few facilities. No bar no choice for food other than auto-dispense sandwiches a small "pie shop" with limited choice small and limited choice news agent puny duty-free shop. There is no indication that there are no facilities inside the departure lounge. Signs inside the lounge indicate "restaurants" but there were none. Absolutely the most boring terminal ever experienced. Whatever happened to the concept of passenger satisfaction and profit making for caterers?

Hardly an international airport. Dingy departures lounge with minimal dining options or shopping. The duty free shop is a joke. I got much cheaper options at the grocery store on way to airport. The newsagent also had minimal offerings so I was glad I brought a book earlier. Avoid.

Wonderful experience. Was dreading given some reviews used the Tom Bradley International terminal. Easy check in - spacious and friendly staff. No lines for security or passport control so v quick and staff again helpful and pleasant. The terminal is v spacious with good facilities and plenty of space at gate areas with good boarding control. Highly recommended if this is how it is on a regular basis.

Got off my Japan Airlines flight from Tokyo and got a rude shock. Tokyo is easily larger than LA and everything runs smoothly even for people who don't speak Japanese. What an illogical mess welcomes international travelers at LAX! A very long walk and long wait to pick up baggage for customs but that I could understand. However you have to literally go outside to renter the terminal and the signs are not clear. Thankfully we found some people along the way to point us in the right direction. A long wait to go through security and finally we found someone who could give us a gate number for our flight to Albuquerque (sometimes flights don't make it onto the departures board we are told.). With relief we made the trek for our gate at last - not! The "gate" led to an escalator that was out of service and from there a wait for the shuttle to another terminal our flight still not on the board. This airport is a disgrace to our country.

Tom Bradley international Terminal. My goodness what a change! Inbound from SYD it took me 22 minutes from aircraft to street including my baggage. admittedly a quiet arrivals time (10.30am) but the immigration officer was actually friendly. Departing on Virgin Australia the initial impression landside was that no great change had taken place and the TSA screening was relatively slow. But once airside - you are greeted by an amazing video/mural wall and then a huge retail area. Plenty of good and fairly well-priced food at the food courts but an overpriced steakhouse serving extremely salty steaks. Longish walks to the gates. But overall what a change from the old building!

I flew from LBB-DFW-LAX-YVR-PEK. The AA Terminal Terminal 4 is clean and has good food and retail options. One major problem is that it takes a long time just to get from one terminal to another. In order to save time we had to walk through a parking garage to reach Air Canada Terminal 2 there are no buses that shuttle people from terminal to terminal. The security and check in lines are very slow the Air Canada terminal was clean and had good facilities not a good airport if you have to fly different airlines.

Flew out of Terminal 2 of LAX and cannot believe how poor this airport is. As a major point of entry to the USA I was expecting so much more. The building is a mess and the facilities almost none existent. LA needs to do much better build a new airport.

I hope to never see this airport again it is shameful! Had 1.5 hours between connecting flights but customs was ridiculously slow not anywhere near enough agents for the volume of people! Then to rebook baggage and go through security we missed our flight - who didn't see that coming! Security only had one TSA agent working until they finally called another - 2 people. To top it all off no one anywhere had a sense of urgency in this whole airport. After leaving SFO to Narita and then Okinawa and then back again only to have the problem here.
