✅ Trip Verified | Except for a long walk (everyone is complaining about this for KLIA2) it was a good experience. Clean and tidy with multiple choice of f&b and shopping. The staff were warm and friendly too. It was a busy day with many passengers but we managed to pass through without much of a hassle. Maybe the airport can provide more seats, we saw many many passengers on the floor at check in areas and boarding gates.

Not Verified | One of worst airports. The ambience in KLIA2, though a new terminal, is worse than many old airports I have been to. It is really hot, temp inside terminal must be somewhere near 30c. You can see people sweating their way to the gates, and the crew dripping with sweat at the gates. I think they must have set the ac temp to 25C, which means u can get as hot as 30c in some spot. Horrible airport, though they have somewhat improved on the sharp chemical smell in their toilets, and stop some of the annoying announcements of Happy Journey every 2mins. Now I believe their cost cutting measures are sacrificing the passenger comforts.

✅ Trip Verified | Monstrosity of an airport which is better off as a shopping center. Long queues at immigration with endless walking from the minute one enters the main KLIA2 from the Tune hotel, one must walk a good 5-10 minutes past shops and eateries before one finds what resembles a check in area for Air Asia, then one passes a rudimentary bag screening then on to more shops and then the main bag screening area before on to your final gate area. Very confusing airport with its only plus being its relative low cost for food and drink.

✅ Trip Verified | I'm very happy travelling through KLIA even though the experience while boarding into the aircraft was not smooth. AirAsia took a long time to board the aircraft and their staff are not efficient. Forget about that, I'm happy with the facilities provided at KLIA2. The airport is very clean, staff friendly and many choices of food and the price is reasonable to me. Well done and keep it up.

✅ Trip Verified | Terrible, rude staff here who are constantly on a power trip. Not uncommon for KLIA as it is like this everytime myself or my family travel through here. Very unprofessional and unacceptable for a major international airport. It's better to transit through Changi than experience this dreaded airport.

Not Verified | Unfortunately, the worst and the least pleasant airport I have even been to. Have to go through security check twice on your way to the gates, one of the checks is right before the gate entrance. No toilets and drinking water nearby, my husband had to wait in the gate before he could go to the airplane lavatory. The staff are not really competent. Especially whose, who work at the G counters (Chinese airlines). Before giving us our boarding passes, they scared us by giving us the wrong information. Please, airport management, do something about your airport to make your passangers want to travel with you again.

Not Verified | Unbelievably awful. Beware of the scam airport security are running where if you buy drinks in departures they will take them off you before you board. That’s to say they don’t screen you after immigration and screening so they can take advantage of the fact that you’ve paid your money and they can get their grubby hands on your drinks if you’ve not opened them before you board. As an aside the toilets are dirty and things are over priced. All in all a bad experience.

✅ Trip Verified | Last December, I fly to Incheon from KLIA. While waiting for my flight, I used the prayer room, and I was surprised with the cleanliness of the room and the prayer garment was cleas and smell good! Apart from that, queue at the check in counter, immigration, and airport police was very fast. Plus, the staff was very friendly and always smile! The toilet cleanliness has improved drastically compared to when I used KLIA few months ago. The background music sounds very calming to my ears, and I bet for others too! Well done KLIA, keep up the good work!

✅ Trip Verified | This is one of the worst airports I have ever traveled through. I was traveling through this airport on a connecting flight from Cambodia to China and not only was I forced to go through 2 security checkpoints, even though I was only transferring, I was forced to throw away my water which I had just purchased after going through security inside the airport. This would have been frustrating on its on but then after I finally found my gate in the Q terminal, I discovered that my flight's gate was changed to the P terminal so I needed to go all the way to the P terminal. This meant that I needed to go back through security for a third time after already filling my water bottle again. Thankfully, I thought to drink all of it before going through security but it was still a hassle. Also, there is not enough seating in any of the gate areas and the airport itself is not very clean. I will do my best to avoid flying through this airport again if I can help it.
