✅ Trip Verified | Amongst bad airports - along with Air India one of the worst airlines. Huge queues, at least twice - one at check in, another at security. Inadequate and inefficient staff with broken processes. Not sure why and how they were awarded best airport award by Skytrax.

✅ Trip Verified | Great Airport. Good shopping experience. The staff at counters were very helpful. The Airport tends to get crowded and you may have to expect long queues at the ticketing counters and the immigration.

✅ Trip Verified | Arrived at DEL from PBH with a valid e-Visa. The e-Visa counters were only partly manned by immigration officers, whereas the queues were gigantic. Some officers left but were not replaced. The whole situation was a total disgrace. I wonder why DEL received an Skytrax rating when it takes 90 minutes to pass immigration. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible

✅ Trip Verified | Actually entered Delhi airport twice. Once international, once domestic. International yes a long walk but the line up through immigration for foreigners was fast and bags came pretty efficiently. Handy is a SIM card provider there. Plus ATM. Arriving domestic was even faster. Departure required a bus (free) to terminal 1. You need a boarding pass. It takes 20-30 minutes. Then of course us the usual OTT security showing your boarding pass and passport several times and the mandatory pat downs and metal detectors. I do not like that you leave your hand luggage to be scanned and not in sight as women have to go into a curtained booth for the screening/pat down. However terminal 1 has adequate places to eat and shop although I had a pass for the lounge. Due to 6 hours between flights, this was a good idea. So all in all I found Delhi to be fine, efficient but do allow plenty of time.

Not Verified | Possibly one of the worst experiences ever. The end users were more helpful than the officials and workers. I had a connecting flight from Oman to Delhi and onwards to Chandigarh. There was a lack of officials on duty and they refused to provide me with any information and instead questioned me repeatedly why was I late, in spite of explaining to them about my connecting flight being late. One of the officers even had the audacity to tell me that you have 15 mins and if you can make past the huge serpentine line then go for it or else leave it. Horrid and a nightmare to deal with such entitled people in power. Truly ashamed to say it is the airport of the capital of India.

✅ Trip Verified | I have used T3 over the years, but it seems that inspite of the infrastructure and capacity, it is unable perform well. The Customs and Security was slow, with customs having less officers and took 45 minutes to clear and security were shouting at passengers, making it a nightmarish experience. Food Court was fine, but dirty and cleaners seemed disinterested. WI-FI won't connect quickly. Toilets were fine though. If anybody wishes to catch an International Flight, especially night, Please come at least 4 hours before departure.

Not Verified | One of the worst service airports. Flying Emirates business class and there are no Emirates employees to check in. Numerous issues with my flight without warning and the entire staff were unhelpful and lazy. A terrible example and experience for Indian tourism for high value travelers. So much of a bad experience I may quit flying Emirates which has been unbeatable for 20+ flights. This airport is a disaster. Never coming back to India again.

Not Verified | Impossible to access shops and restaurants before the flight. Made to wait to be let in, the check out does not open in time, and no places to eat. Ridiculous for an international airport. We could have enjoyed shopping and restaurants instead of sitting around as if at a bus station. Avoid, if possible.

Not Verified | The quality of the airport is rather good in general. However, the main difference between the private group that manages the airport and the government workers is pretty obvious. The people from the GMR group which manages the airport are quite nice and helpful but the government workers which includes the security and immigration are sulky and unwelcoming. If you are a younger traveler, they tend to be extra rude with you. I don’t understand why can’t the government of India deploy some decent staff at the airport. Considering that it’s the gateway to and from the country, it won’t be a bad idea.

✅ Trip Verified | Arrival at Delhi airport is always a pleasent experience. The Indian airport that can definitely beat many of its European counterparts. The immigration control was quick due to enhanced number of counters recently. Only drawback is that I couldn't use WiFi because I had no indian SIM card. There are many NRIs and international travellers at DEL, so this should be sorted out now. Duty free was also a swift business. Lots of staff to assist. Took just 30 minutes from plane to exit gates. Cheers for that. Music could be a little more light.
