Seat 24A was comfortable for a transatlantic flight of 10hrs, plenty of leg room although a foot rest would have been advantageous. I found the control buttons on the armrest a nuisance and awkward to use.

Very cramped - had problems getting in and out of the seat. I couldn't stretch both my legs out under the seat in front - I had to put one leg in front and the other under the seat next to me.

No choice of seat at check in and ended up in the middle seat of the middle 5. As a single traveller this makes it awkward to get out. However this is nothing in comparison to the seat. The miniscule amount of padding meant that it was akin to sitting on a wooden bench (This was the same on the return flight).

Since they did away with "More Room in Coach" configuration on the 737 aircraft, the seats are very cramped. Luckily there was some room to stretch out my legs under the seat in front of me but the seats are much narrower compared to the 757, A300's and MD80's that American flies on their other routes which makes it much more uncomfortable regardless if you are in the aisle, window, or middle.

I had an exit row, middle seat which I found cramped. I have a 33" waist and my row companions were both medium sized or smaller, so it's not like I was sitting next to two large people. The tray table in these exit rows is in the arm rest, which takes at least an inch width off each seat.

Legroom is limited due to inflight entertainment Box underneath Window seats. Avoid bulk head seat unless you like to fly 14 hours without stretching your leg in seated position. Most of row 20's has access to "cigarette style" power ports. 31 and up has one in every 3 or 4 rows. The best row is 31 in my opinion because it's a exit row with plenty of leg room.

I was fortunate enough to have whole middle row to myself on this flight (MIA-LIM). However, when sitting normally in the seat on take-off and landing, I was very uncomfortable (but then I am a rugby player and find any economy class cramped and uncomfortable). I normally fly in Business and after this episode in AA Economy will always do so in the future.

The seats were filthy and the whole plane was in need of a good cleaning. The seats were very cramped and it is clear that American's old policy of "more room in coach" is no longer practiced on the 757s. On the plus side, the head rests are nice.

Honolulu to Chicago, I was unable to get in and out of my seat, partially due to the person in front having his seat in the reclining position the whole of the flight, but even so I was unable to stretch my legs out. Crew seemed tired and bored. Blankets and pillows had been used. Not a good experience.
