Newly opened lounge. Plenty of sitting area, good choice of food, drinks and snacks. Separate area for
dining serving mostly pre-flight dining for night flights. Very much the spirit of the LH First/HON
lounge concept. Very nice showers. The whole experience is 'Zen'. You really feel relaxed when you
leave the lounge.

Zurich Swiss First lounge is a separate area within the Swiss Business lounge with a separate
reception and service desk. The reception will identify eligibility for car transfer to US bound
longhaul gate at the midfield terminal and arrange it with the visiting passenger-a very nice
service indeed. Comfortable leather seating. Extensive self service bar,
extensive soft drinks. Hot drinks machine. Moderate assortment of hot food buffet including soup.
Good selection of cold snacks. Swiss style hard cookies. One compact shower for First,
with access to the several similar Business Class section showers. Access to the Long Bar, it is part of the Business Class section and connected
to First by stair and a door or exit First section to Business and take the elevator- it faces the
tarmac and is a nice feature. One or two computers for use, not sure of WiFi. Quiet and relaxing
atmosphere, Swiss staff efficiency.

First time in this lounge and was impressed. As I am a social leper, (smoker), it was nice to see
that smoking was allowed in the bar. Found the staff friendly & polite. Could not get the Wifi to
work though!

As this lounge was used by Business Class pax, Senators (Gold), Frequent Flyers (Silver) and Star Alliance
members, it was pretty crowded and, at numerous times during the day, is no longer the haven it once was. The
"World's Longest Bar" is nice but with only one person working the bar, everyone ends up sitting in the same
approximate area. Also, this is the new smoking area and as the air extraction system is either too small or non-
existent and so even if only one person is smoking, the effects are suffered by all, which probably explains why
the bar area is usually empty and the main area often packed. Over a period of several years and scores of
visits, the toilet areas have mostly been a virtual no-go area. A mixture of messy disrespectful pax and maybe
not enough cleaning staff does not make for a hygienic experience. Written feedback to the Managing Director of
the handling agents responsible for the lounge, met with scathing insults! None of the numerous internet
terminals worked. I was told this would be fixed in "less than half an hour". I was in the lounge for over an
hour and a half and the staff just kept repeating the same phrase. No one ever came to repair the terminals.
Croissants were the only real food being served and this at lunchtime – until a container of soup was rolled in.
My signal to leave! Soft drinks and spirit selections are reasonable. Beer selection very sparse and wine choice
was one white and one red of the el cheapo variety. Staff are still relatively friendly and helpful, although one
can sometimes sense an atmosphere of something less than total happiness, indeed the staff can even be heard
talking about "their lot" on occasions. Unlike the lounge at Basel Airport, the Zurich lounge is not really worth
aiming to spend extended periods of time, except maybe for the quiet periods of the day – late evening, for
example. I have marked Lounge Comfort down a star due to the overcrowding and the very noisy atmosphere – which,
for me, make the Zurich Business Lounge nowhere close to what I consider to be an acceptable lounge ambience.

Used the lounge prior to my evening flight to JNB. Quiet, comfortable and modern atmosphere. Food
and beverage selection good, but not to SIA level. Buffet had been refilled continuously. Staff
friendly and attentive. Internet connection hampering though. Hadn't used any shower facility so I
can't judge them.

Nice decoration and plenty of space in this lounge. Many visitors at that time of the day
(18:00-20:00) but it never felt crowded. Comfortable armchairs but no beds available.
Located in a central part of the terminal, all the shops are right next door. However, there is no
view of the apron and visitors sometimes lose the sense of being in an airport.
Staff was friendly and efficient, especially at the "world's longest lounge bar".
Variety of non-alcoholic beverages was good, but only average for alcoholic drinks. No food or
snacks available, except for some small pretzels, tiny cookies and chocolates and a clear soup.
Overall a nice experience, but leaves much to be expected from Swiss.

Is this closet really a lounge; a tiny, tiny room with very limited seating? Outside there was a
SWISS logo on the window and an attendant checking boarding passes at the door. Why, I don't know,
because it seemed like every person getting on the plane was in the lounge. There were windows
however.
Infrequent visits from staff to replenish the sandwich trays were met with a general
stampede to get what was available. A small selection of drinks were available all self-service of
course.
What a come down from the old SwissAir lounge.

A well laid out, bright, open and airy lounge with wonderful views of the aircraft and runways. I
was using this lounge for my Thai airways flight to BKK.
There were plenty of seats, snacks and drinks. There were also computer areas, several bathrooms and even shower suites. Furniture was a
tad older, walls had scuff marks, but this was a nice place to relax before my flight.
There was a small buffet area. Staff were extremely
polite and helpful. Lounge is just a short distance from shops and security. As far as I could tell
this was one of the larger lounges at Terminal 4.
